The well-known styles are classic, romantic, sporty, ethnic and some others. As for me, I cannot say that I stick to one certain style. I wear different outfits depending on the situation. In everyday life I prefer casual style. I usually wear comfortable jeans, trendy tops and flat shoes. Sometimes I add accessories to my outfit. In cold weather it might be some stylish scarf with large prints, in hot weather I put on a necklace or a chain with a pendant.
I like soft, neutral hues. My basic wardrobe consists of clothes of grey, beige and dark colours. This allows me to mixplenty of garments creating various outfits for various purposes. Pastel hues are my other favourite colour scheme. I think these delicate shades look very nice in summer. As for winter I prefer clothes of more saturated colours such as wine red or dark green. I also like floral prints. I think flowers create romantic mood.
In addition to that, I always follow new fashion trends. For me it is some kind of an inspiration to new ideas.
I think it is very important for everyone to find their own style. Comfortable and appropriate clothes raise our self-confidence. People who wear nice and neat clothes are more likely to win our favour. To my mind, the material also plays a significant role. Clothes made of natural high-quality materials will be used for long. In my opinion every person can have his own style and look unique. He should choose clothes according to his taste, age, job, constitution and character. I am glad to say that I don’t pay so much attention to fashion and I am not its victim. I don’t care too much about what other people wear. The most important thing for me in the outlook is neatness, natural look and beauty. And it should certainly suit the occasion. I must admit that some fashionable clothes are quite ridiculous and unpractical. There was a time, for instance, when young people wore baggy clothes, shoes on enormous platforms, red hair, black fingernails and bright make-up. To my mind, it was just a silly waste of money. Besides, if a person doesn’t have a good taste he is not able to put things together and look attractive and stylish even in fashionable clothes.

Many teenagers pay too much attention to their friends’ and classmates’ appearance. Sadly, if some parents are not able to afford buying trendy clothes with fashion labels, their kids often become outsiders. So clothes usually separate people into social groups.
In my opinion every person can have his own style and look unique. He should choose clothes according to his taste, age, job, constitution and character. I am glad to say that I don’t pay so much attention to fashion and I am not its victim. I don’t care too much about what other people wear. The most important thing for me in the outlook is neatness, natural look and beauty. And it should certainly suit the occasion. I must admit that some fashionable clothes are quite ridiculous and unpractical. There was a time, for instance, when young people wore baggy clothes, shoes on enormous platforms, red hair, black fingernails and bright make-up. To my mind, it was just a silly waste of money. Besides, if a person doesn’t have a good taste he is not able to put things together and look attractive and stylish even in fashionable clothes.

Trendy people want to stand out in a crowd, but sometimes they don’t look stylish. First of all, think clothes should suit you. If you have good taste you can buy a big range of styles and always look fashionable. But clothes should suit the occasion, and put you in the right mood for the day. But there are people who are not able bothered about fashion, they just want to stand out in a crowd by wearing something unusual, old-fashioned or trendy. Actually, I’m not such a person and I guess you should choose things according to your personality and character, and you’ll look well-dressed even if you wear something casual. I like wearing different kinds of clothes, but certainly clothes should suit the occasion. When I plan what I’m going to wear I usually think what kind of meeting I have. At school we weren’t allowed to wear sport or bright clothes, we had to wear clothes of formal style. Usually I wore a jacket, a blouse and trousers or a skirt. But I didn’t like being dressed that way, as many other students. Really I prefer smart clothes to formal. Besides I enjoy wearing sport clothes, because I feel comfortable in it. Also on my list of likes there are jeans. One of my favourite colours is white, so I like white sweaters, tops and skirts. I usually wear high heeled shoes even if it’s not always comfortable or thick-soled boots. When I go out I always dress up, because I feel better that way. Some people spend a lot of time on buying clothes because it helps them to forget about different life problems. It means shopping for clothes can be a good therapy in case of troubles, but you shouldn`t become a shopaholic and buy everything you see, the sense of style of clothes is extremely important.
Some people have the idea that it isn`t necessary to spend huge amounts of money on designer clothes. I believe that one should have at least several designer clothes in the wardrobe for special occasions, like a friend`s wedding, for example.
Nowadays fashion is an inseparable part of our life and it doesn`t matter whether you`re wearing expensive clothes or bought them on sale if you look good and dressed with taste.
