On week days I get my alarm-clock for a quarter past seven but I get up at half-past seven. It takes me about ten minutes to wash and get dressed and then I go downstairs and have breakfast. Usually for breakfast I drink a cup of tea and have some marmalade and a toast. Then quickly I sort out my books for the day and meet my friend at the corner of my street at ten past eight.
By twenty past eight we are at school and we are able to talk to out friends for twenty minutes before we have to go to our separate classes for registration at twenty minutes to nine. At nine o’clock our lessons start. They last for forty-five minutes but then at eleven o’clock we have mid-morning breakfast for twenty minutes and then have one more lesson before lunch-time.
At twenty past twelve we have a lunch break and usually we all sit in the dining-hall and eat our sandwiches with our friends, or a few of us have school dinner. If the weather is I nice we sit in the playground and eat our lunch there. We have two lessons from half-past one to half-past three and then it is home-time.
After a tiring day at school I relax by sitting down and talking to my mother about my day until dinner is ready at five o’clock. After dinner I start my homework. I always have something to do, either to read a book, or to do some exercises or write an essay or learn for a test. By nine o’clock I always try to finish doing my homework so then I can relax by talking to my family and watching television. Then I go to bed at half-past ten in order to be up bright and early the following day.

После утомительного дня в школе я расслабляюсь, болтая с мамой о том, как прошел день, пока готовиться обед. После обеда я начинаю делать домашнюю работу. Мне всегда нужно что-то сделать: прочесть книгу, сделать упражнения, написать эссе или подготовиться к тесту. К девяти часам я всегда пытаюсь закончить домашнюю работу, чтобы расслабиться и поболтать с членами моей семьи и посмотреть телевизор. Затем я ложусь спать в половину одиннадцатого, чтобы проснуться полным сил утром следующего дня.

Моя школа
I study in the seventh grade. I normally have six lessons and spend most part of my day at school. I really love my school. Teachers are understanding and kind there. When I do not understand something they are always ready to explain it to me one more time individually after the lesson. I appreciate it that all teachers have a unique approach to everyone. Moreover, a lot of teachers try to make the educational process more interesting for us. They organize different interactive lessons and give us some tasks where we can demonstrate our creativity. My classmates are friendly and helpful. We always support each other. After lessons, we very often spend time together. In our school, there is a special zone where we can sit, communicate with each other and play some games. I am really happy that atmosphere in my school is so amicable.
Я учусь в седьмом классе. Обычно у меня шесть уроков и провожу большую часть моего дня в школе. Я очень люблю свою школу. Учителя относятся с пониманием и добрые. Когда я что-то не понимаю, они всегда готовы объяснить мне еще раз индивидуально после урока. Я ценю, что все преподаватели имеют уникальный подход к каждому. Более того, многие учителя стараются сделать образовательный процесс более интересным для нас. Они организуют различные интерактивные уроки и дают нам некоторые задания, где мы сможем продемонстрировать наше творчество. Мои одноклассники дружелюбные и всегда готовы помочь. Мы всегда поддерживаем друг друга. После уроков мы очень часто проводим время вместе. В нашей школе есть специальная зона, где можно сидеть, общаться друг с другом и играть в игры. Я очень рад, что атмосфера в моей школе такая дружелюбная.
I also appreciate the fact that level of education in my school is really high. Core subjects in my school are languages. We have an opportunity to learn 2 foreign languages. Pupils from our school pass international exams in English and German successfully. Also, there are winners of different stages of all-Russian school Olympiad in the English language.
Я также очень ценю, что уровень образования в моей школе очень высокий. Основные предметы в моей школе- языки. У нас есть возможность выучить 2 иностранных языка. Учащиеся нашей школы сдают международные экзамены на английском и немецком языках успешно. Кроме того, есть победители различных этапов Всероссийской олимпиады школьников по английскому языку.
It is important to mention that our school also lays special emphasis on social life. Numerous concerts, parties, and sports contests are organized in our school. So all pupils have an opportunity to demonstrate their talents. I love my school very much!

My School-Day On Monday I usually wake up late and have no time to eat my breakfast. I can’t find my books and my school cap. At last I find my books in the bathroom and find my cap – my dog. Pal. likes to play with it. I have to wait ages for a bus and I am nearly late for school. I enter the classroom when our class-teacher begins to call out the register. The first lesson on Monday morning is maths. Mr. Bailey, the maths teacher, collects our homework and then gives us some sums to do. The next lesson is French. I like French. It’s nice to be able to talk to somebody in another language. At last it is eleven o’clock: time for break. A girl, whose name is Susan, gives me a piece of cake to eat with my milk. She allows me to copy her Latin homework, because I don’t know how to do it. After break we have two lessons of Latin. There are a lot of boys in our class who don’t like Latin. I don’t like it either. At half past twelve it is time for lunch: a meat pie, boiled potatoes or cabbage and a glass of juice or milk. Then I go into the playground with my friends. We play football there. After lunch we have a history lesson. The history teacher tells us many interesting things. After school my friends and I usually go for a walk. I come home very late, and my mother is very angry. In the evening I do my homework. Now I cannot do my homework – there is an interesting programme on television. I think I can do it tomorrow, during break.
Some years have already passed but I still remember my first day at school. How happy and proud I was when my parents told me that I’m going to school, I felt like I was a grown-up person then. I wasn’t nervous, but excited. My first day at school was quite interesting for me, it was full of discoveries.
I woke up early in the morning, my mother put a nice suit on me, gave me a lunch box with sandwiches and we went to school with my whole family: me, my mother, father and my younger sister. While we were approaching the big building with a lot of people around I felt a little nervous – I didn’t know anyone there. Everyone was looking so nice: boys were wearing suits and girls were all in dresses and skirts. Every pupil had a bunch of flowers to give it to their first teacher.
After some minutes we entered the school and walked along the corridor, and then we entered the classroom with about 25 people inside. I took a seat at the desk and my parents and the parents of other pupils were standing along the wall looking at us with pride and taking pictures. Then I heard a loud noise – our first bell. A tall woman with fair hair was standing in front of us, she asked us to stand up and then when everyone was quite she let us sit on the chairs. She was smiling and looked quite kind. She told us about herself and our plans for the year. Then we walked around the school and she showed us the classrooms, canteen, laboratory and playground outside.
I have very good memories about my first day at school and I think I will remember it forever.
