A child usually dreams to be a doctor, a teacher, a firefighter or even an astronaut in the future. These professions are very important, so it is wonderful when child’s dream comes true and he or she becomes an expert in the particular field, for example, in medicine.
I think that everyone should work. It may be easy or difficult work, well-paid or low-paid. However, what is even more important is that the work must bring the joy. Of course, the salary is important nowadays but if you are not happy with your job, the salary will mean almost nothing. In this case you should find something else, something that will make you smile. This work even may become just a little addition to the main job.
My dream is to become an interpreter in the future. Why have I chosen this particular profession? The answer is quite simple. I like studying foreign languages and cultures. When I study a new foreign language, a new world seems to be opened to me. I can find something unusual, unique, fascinating or even strange there but it is the wonderful experience.
The profession of an interpreter gives you an opportunity to meet new people from different countries or social groups. It teaches you to make decisions right here and right now. It is the experience that you cannot get even being a translator, for example. This is the main reason why I want to be an interpreter.
I will do my best to become an interpreter in the future because this is the work that can make me happy.

Профессия переводчика дает возможность познакомиться с новыми людьми из разных стран или социальных групп. Она учит вас принимать решения здесь и сейчас. Это тот опыт, который вы не можете получить, например, даже будучи письменным переводчиком. Это основная причина, почему я хочу быть именно устным переводчиком.

In early childhood children tell their parents whom they would like to be when they grow up. In school students begin thinking of their future profession. There are lots of professions in the world, and all of them are interesting and exciting. So it’s very hard to discover your vocation in life.
The choice of profession depends on your abilities. If you are good at humanities you should choose something in this field. And if you are good at natural sciences you should choose something closely connected with them. I would like to become a chemist because I like chemistry. I think that it is a very interesting subject, but I am not so good at it so I think that I am not suitable for this profession. Inspite of all I possess some qualities which are needed in this field.
I think that my future profession will be closely connected with computers. I am capable to work with them, and I also possess the qualities needed in this work. They are accuracy, energy, carefulness. But I hesitate if I have enough patience. I must develop it if I want to become a computer operator. I know that it would be better to choose a profession of an interpreter or any other occupation connected with Russian and literature because I am good at these subjects but when I began to study the computer skills that was what I have been looking for. In our modern world it’s hard to do without computers. They are needed everywhere, and I hope that my interests in this subject will never change inspite of any circumstances.

Choosing a career
is one of the most important and tough decisions people will
ever make in life. According to Confucius, “Find a job you love
and you will never work a day in your life.” It is absolutely
true. If you are passionate about your work, you have more
chances to succeed.
Well, choosing a
proper career is a conscious decision of a grown-up person, and
it is essential to explore job options that match your
interests, skills and knowledge. It is absolutely wrong to chase
your parents’ dreams. If you are not interested to work in a
field they want you do, always stand your ground. It is high
time for you to decide for yourself what to do for living and to
find your real calling. Moreover, when you make a choice, it is
also important to get appropriate education that will give you
all the necessary skills, knowledge and practical awareness.
Today there are a
lot of job options to choose from out there. Anyway, the choice
of professions depends on people’s individual abilities and
talents. Some people have dreams of becoming a doctor and saving
people’s lives, others like cooking and become master chefs.
There are people, for instance, who like taking care of animals,
and therefore become veterinary surgeons. Some people have a
talent for painting and are not good at the other things. It is
not difficult to guess that they become painters, designers or
architects. All in all, today the most popular jobs are office
clerks, policemen, teachers, waitresses, hairstylists, drivers
and some others.
As far as I am
concerned, I want to start my own business and open my own
travel agency. I am too independent and enterprising to work for
an employer. The idea of doing a nine-to-five job does not
appeal me at all. One of the reasons I want to set up my own
business or become self-employed is independence. To begin with,
I can earn money working from home and spend more time with
family and friends. Secondly, I can choose any work schedule
that suits me best. Thirdly, if you are your own boss, you avoid
the stressful daily commute and traffic jams. Furthermore,
self-employed people tend to have an extended vacation. Finally,
my success depends on me and my own decisions.
Some people think
that getting a good salary is more important than having the job
you really want. I am convinced that an enjoyable job equals a
worthy salary. For instance, people can turn their hobby into a
profitable business and earn decent money from home. Besides,
people spend too much time at work and it is wrong to waste time

There is a wide choice of different professions and I`d like to tell you about my hesitation what to choose. In my childhood I wanted to become a famous singer or actor but when I was aware of all the difficulties of these professions I decided to refuse of my dream. Then I was going to become a vet. I imagined myself treating different animals, taking care of them, feeding and walking with them in the park, but this dream hadn`t also come true.
It goes without saying that every person must choose his profession according his natural abilities and inclinations to it. So I have decided to connect my life with a profession of a teacher because I am sure that it`s my cup of tea. On the one hand it`s a great responsibility for children, on the other hand it`s a very interesting, exciting and valuable profession in our life. Besides you won`t be able to succeed as a teacher if you don`t like children. Your success depends on a lot of things. At first you should be communicative, very organized and hardworking. You must be skilful in your profession. It is also necessary to understand pupils, give them a helping hand and be ready to solve their problems. More than that you must be polite and tactful.
Profession of a teacher is a great profession and it is known that who doesn`t work in this sphere, won`t be able to understand all the essence of it.
Nowadays there are thousands of different occupations but the most important role in choosing this or that one, plays a salary, of course. It is so, but to my mind, it`s impossible to work only for that purpose “earning a lot of money”.Our job must bring us satisfaction and always only pleasant emotions. So in conclusion I`d like to advise people to choose their profession carefully, taking every thing into their consideration.
The matter of choosing a career
I’m going to tell you about my future profession. There are two most important things in anyone’s life: choosing a career and getting a job. Some pupils know what they are going to do after leaving school but for others it’s difficult to give a definite answer about their future profession. We get to know about a wide range of professions from magazines and advertisements and then we make either our own choice or follow our parents’ advice as they are also concerned about our future.
Choosing a career
When choosing a career one should take into consideration all the possibilities that it might provide. First of all, it should be interesting. Secondly, one has to be sure to be able to find a good and well-paid job after graduating. Another important factor that influences the choice of the profession is our abilities to different disciplines. One has to analyze thoroughly which things or subjects he or she is good at, and only then make a final choice.
I want to be an interpreter
As for me, since my childhood I’ve known I want to be an interpreter. My choice is closely connected with the importance of foreign languages and cultures which is growing nowadays. Foreign languages are needed for communication with people on our planet. I believe that among all, English is the most universal and widely spread. It’s an official language in a vast number of countries. Besides, it’s the language of international aviation, sports, medicine, the language of science and technology, trade, cultural and business relations.
Conclusion
I’m quite aware that the job of an interpreter isn’t an easy one. You have to be very communicative and responsible. Moreover, be prepared to work long hours and move around a lot. But on the other hand you’ll have a chance to travel to different foreign countries and to meet a lot of interesting people. I think this profession is worth taking up. Being a student of the University I pay special attention to English and try to work hard. I hope I’ve made the right decision.
One of the most difficult decisions in our life is choosing what to do for a living when we grow up. Finishing school means starting independent lives and choosing one of the roads: a technical school or a university. Starting our life with a right profession is very important because the future of young people depends on this choice. That is why they must choose it with utmost care analyzing all pros and cons. Besides our friends and older relatives can influence our choice or just give a good piece of advice.
It isn’t easy to find a good job. You could be a very pleasant personality but still the employers won’t give you the position of your dream if you don’t have proper qualifications for that kind of job. So it’s essential to analyze what education and what skills are required for your job. To be good at computers and to have a good command of English is absolutely necessary for modern jobs.
In our modern fast paced world there are plenty of new interesting and socially important professions. The future profession must not be boring for you. It should suit your interests and your features of character. You might choose working indoors or outdoors, dealing with people or just with papers. In other words you should enjoy the work you do. It should also satisfy your career plans and professional ambitions. It should provide us with a chance of professional growth and personal development.
I am sure that all of us want to earn as much money as possible. However many young people are wise enough to follow a definite career and earn quite a low salary at the beginning. They realize that they have good prospects in a company that trains its staff and soon they can climb the career ladder. At the same time there are young people who would rather prefer taking any kind of work because they just need an income. Even so we must admit that any temporary jobs help us gain much useful experience and we can learn a lot.

Nowadays English is considered the international language, it certainly can come in handy in my life and in my future career. I decided to choose such profession as a journalist. English is the main part of the work of a journalist. With good knowledge of English I would feel more confident in my work.
Now I would like to express my point of view on the problem of learning foreign languages. For a journalist often communicated with foreigners, English would be necessary. Especially, when the interviewer feels comfortable himself during the communication and there are no any bounds. The journalist often travels around the world collecting information, it is important to be able to adapt quickly and to communicate with citizens without any constraint or difficulties, not knowing the language is a huge obstacle. He needed at international conferences, congresses and festivals, and when visiting such events, it would be important to feel this atmosphere.
It is a well-known fact that the journalist must be able to transmit information without difficulty, to convey it to the listener. I will have the opportunity to translate articles without too much fuss. English contributes to the professional development and career growth. Knowing the language is more marketable as an employee, but have a good knowledge of English is more important, I can work abroad. We live in a world in which many people communicate with each other in English. Nowadays, English is very popular all over the world. Every year it is gaining popularity and becoming more frequently used. There are many professions related to the use of English, for example, a linguist or an interpreter.
The first thing that needs to be said is that English appeared three years ago in my life. I forced to learn German, but I liked English more. I enjoy studying English! Learning this language helps people to develop better and find new friends.
Another good thing about English in the future is that it will be very useful to me, even if it will not be a part of my profession. After finishing school I want to go to the philological faculty. If in my future I will be a philologist, foreign languages ??will be very useful to me. With the help of English many opportunities will open up to me, for example, during practice I can go to another country and get a lot of experience, learn a lot of new things.
What is more English will be useful not only in my future profession, but also in my hobby. Since my childhood I really love to sing. I’ve been singing since I was five. Thanks to the English language, I can sing not only Russian songs, but also songs in English.
In a word, English is very important in our life and in our future career. Therefore, learning English is essential in today’s Global World. If a person wants to succeed in his chosen field he has to know English, so start to improve your English as soon as possible.

English in My Future Career I’m in the tenth grade and already think about the choice of my career. As we know there are many professions in the world and all of them are necessary and important. Among them I chose the profession of journalist. For mastering this profession requires knowledge of Russian language, literature, history, social studies and English, of course.
The first thing that needs to be said is that I like to write notes in the newspapers about places I have visited. For example, I wrote a note about my trip to St. Petersburg for a competition. Besides, I gave an interview about my travelling to camp “Artek” in the Crimea. It is undeniable that the journalist illumines the real events happening in the country and in the world. This profession is interesting to me because journalist can travel round the world in search of interesting facts, to communicate with people from different countries.
Moreover it is necessary to have the knowledge of foreign languages, especially English. It is the most widely spoken language in the world. It is important that journalist can fluent in the language, especially in its spoken forms. The journalist must know the grammar, the syntax, and how to write articles in Russian and in English correctly.
One cannot deny that the journalist should be honest, competent on many issues of politics, economy and culture. I have the most concern to light cultural events and achievements of science. In my opinion these subjects are given very insufficient attention. I would like to create my own author’s program on television. Personally I believe that it’ll be represented in Russia and abroad.
Taking everything into consideration, I can say that the profession of a journalist requires a lot of knowledge and practical skills. English is an integral part of this profession. Every self-respecting journalist should know a foreign language in order his articles and reports might heard and read everyone all over the world.

It is undeniable that English plays a huge role in the life of a person who is striving for the successful development of his career. The most widely spread language on the planet is English, spoken by five countries: Great Britain, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
Everyone knows that to get a good profession you need to know English. For example, a guide, a wonderful, creative profession, is in great demand in the world. Many tourist groups of people from different English-speaking countries come to Russia and are involved in the culture of Russia and often use the service of a guide. Outside of our country, Russians who visit English-speaking countries also need a guide. Russian people often visit distant corners of the planet, learning about culture, everyday life and many other interesting things with the help of a guide.
What is more this profession is for sociable, inquisitive people who want to communicate with interesting people from other countries. For the profession of a guide, excellent knowledge of English broad outlook, good speech, ability of the organizer, love of art, ability to interest customers, good friendly relations with different people are required.
Thus, English is a very popular language in our time, as different programs on the computer are made in this language, various instructions are written for technology, furniture and many other things. Every well-educated person should be able to speak English, it is the language of communication, business, culture and science. Я считаю, все профессии по-своему хороши. Только подумайте, что бы мы делали без докторов, инженеров и рабочих? Наша жизнь была бы совершенно иной без экономистов, адвокатов и, конечно же, без учителей.
Мне хотелось попробовать различные профессии, потому что все они кажутся мне достаточно интересными. Но мое призвание – стать учителем. Я решила, что в будущем я хочу стать учителем математики. Я очень люблю деток и отлично разбираюсь в математике. Конечно, мне ещё многому нужно научиться, но я стараюсь, как могу.
В моей семье есть несколько учителей и все они довольны своей профессией. Порой дети огорчают их и мои родные очень устают на работе, но вообще школа делает их счастливыми. Вот поэтому я бы хотела стать учителем математики и физики. Это два самых моих любимых предмета. Если бы у меня была возможность, я бы проводила вдвое больше времени, чтобы учить эти предметы. В конце школы мне нужно будет сдать экзамены и пройти финальные тесты, чтобы поступить в университет.
Я думаю для учителя самое важное полюбить свой предмет, иметь достаточно терпения и интерес к детям, чтобы объяснять правила снова и снова. Я как раз такой человек. Я очень внимательная к деталям и знаю, как справиться с детьми.
С другой стороны, зарплата учителя в России не очень высокая. К сожалению, многие профессии без высшего образования оплачиваются куда лучше, чем профессия учителя. Это не честно, но таков мой выбор. Может, однажды я изменю своё решение, но сегодня я чувствую, что смогу помочь нашей системе образования.
Как по мне, это очень благородная, важная и интересная профессия. Вы не просто станете учителем своего предмета, но и вам придётся многому научиться у своих детей. Работа должна сделать вас счастливой и тогда каждый день вы будете просыпаться и ходить на работу с улыбкой.

the prospective student: colleges, institutes and universities.
But it is certainly a difficult task to choose a profession for
yourself, to find your path from out of more than 2,000 existing
in the world. Some pupils listen to their parent’s advice;
others cannot make a decision even after leaving school.
As for me, I have found my way in professional world long ago. I
want to become a teacher of the English language and literature.
My choice of this occupation was not a sudden flash.
During all school studies, literature was one of my favorite
subject. I have read plenty of literary works, especially novels
and science fiction by Russian and foreign writers and poets. I
am absolutely sure, that reading books is an essential part of
self-education and self-improvement.
I would like to teach my students enjoy the process of reading,
to encourage them to learn our national language and literature,
in order to be able to speak eloquently and to fascinate
everyone with their speech. Teaching is a really specific and
difficult job. It should be treated with respect. The educator
is a person who is learning and teaching through all his life.
Most jobs have limited working hours, for instance from 9 a. m.
until 5 p. m., but teacher’s work continues during all evenings,
which they usually spend in, marking exercise books and
preparing for the next classes.
Teachers do not only teach their subjects, a real teacher
develops genuine interest in the subject, so that students will
plunge with their heads in their study. They try to develop all
kinds of intelligence, such as logical, visual, musical,
interpersonal and body intelligence. Teachers play an important
role in forming the views and characters of students, their
attitudes to life and to other people. It is a great
responsibility and a teacher must be a model of competence
himself.
Not every work is as easy as it can seem at first. But I think
that love for children plus the knowledge I’ll get at the
University would give me enough information and skills to be
quite successful in my work and to go up the career ladder.
I am applying to the philological department and I am sure my

Я бы хотел научить своих студентов наслаждаться процессом
чтения, побудить их узнать наш национальный язык и нашу
литературу, для того чтобы иметь возможность говорить
красноречиво и очаровывать всех своей речью. Обучение — это на
самом деле специфическая и трудная работа. К ней следует
относиться с некоторым уважением. Учитель — это человек, который
учится и учит на протяжении всей жизни.
Работа в большинстве своем ограничена рабочими часами, например,
с 9 утра до 5 вечера, но работа учителей продолжается и по
вечерам, которые они обычно проводят, выставляя оценки в тетради

When you leave school you understand that the time to choose your future profession, your future life has become. It’s not an easy to make the right choice of a job. I have known for long time that leaving school is the beginning of my independent life, the beginning of a far more serious examination of my abilities and character.
What do I want to be when I leave school? It’s very important question for me. A few years ago it was difficult for me to give a definite answer. As the years passed I changed my mind a lot of times about what science or field of industry to specialize in. It’s difficult to make up my mind and choose one of the hundreds jobs to which I might be better suited. A coupe of years ago I wanted to become a doctor, you know I wanted to help people who had problems with health. Then I wanted to become a policeman, then a spaceman, I even wanted to become a professional football player. But all of them now are in the past; they were like children’s dreams and nothing more. Now I have already decided what to do. I’d like to be an aviator. I know that it’s very difficult. I should know perfectly everything about the planes, airports, weather and other things. You know that the weather is very important thing for the flights too. I must be well educated and well informed. So that’s why at first I am going to go to the Aviation University in Moscow, then when I finish studding I’ll go to my country to try to get a job in the air companies. You know may be something will be not OK, because I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but I know that I’ll do everything to realize my plane and my dreams.
I also want to say that the profession should be chosen according to the character and hobbies of the person. That’s why parents mustn’t make their children choose the thing they like (parents like). Children must do it themselves. Because they must love the thing they do, believe that people need them and their job will bring them more pleasure.

Plans for future is a problem that worries not only me, but my friends, classmates, parents and teachers. The reason is that at the age of 17 we have to make a very important choice in our life – the choice of a profession. On the one hand, I’m adult enough to have an opinion of my own about what I’m interested in and what I’m good at. On the other hand, at this age we lack life experience and our desires sometimes don’t coincide with our possibilities. That’s why it’s very important to have somebody to give us a piece of advice. As for me, I want to be an economist. I like to read books of economics, research articles and analyze them. Nowadays this profession has become one of the most useful, modern and interesting. The only problem is that my parents totally disagree with me. They say it’s not the right way to make money and it’s just my childish dream. They think I must be realistic and force me to become a programmer. I love computers and I spend quite a lot of time sitting in front of one, but programming is a completely different thing. I’m attending a programming course at the moment, so I can see it’s not something I’d really want to do.

My future profession
A child usually dreams to be a doctor, a teacher, a firefighter or even an astronaut in the future. These professions are very important, so it is wonderful when child’s dream comes true and he or she becomes an expert in the particular field, for example, in medicine.
I think that everyone should work. It may be easy or difficult work, well-paid or low-paid. However, what is even more important is that the work must bring the joy. Of course, the salary is important nowadays but if you are not happy with your job, the salary will mean almost nothing. In this case you should find something else, something that will make you smile. This work even may become just a little addition to the main job.
My dream is to become an interpreter in the future. Why have I chosen this particular profession? The answer is quite simple. I like studying foreign languages and cultures. When I study a new foreign language, a new world seems to be opened to me. I can find something unusual, unique, fascinating or even strange there but it is the wonderful experience.
The profession of an interpreter gives you an opportunity to meet new people from different countries or social groups. It teaches you to make decisions right here and right now. It is the experience that you cannot get even being a translator, for example. This is the main reason why I want to be an interpreter.
I will do my best to become an interpreter in the future because this is the work that can make me happy.

In early childhood children tell their parents whom they would like to be when they grow up. In school students begin thinking of their future profession. There are lots of professions in the world, and all of them are interesting and exciting. So it’s very hard to discover your vocation in life.
The choice of profession depends on your abilities. If you are good at humanities you should choose something in this field. And if you are good at natural sciences you should choose something closely connected with them. I would like to become a chemist because I like chemistry. I think that it is a very interesting subject, but I am not so good at it so I think that I am not suitable for this profession. Inspite of all I possess some qualities which are needed in this field.
I think that my future profession will be closely connected with computers. I am capable to work with them, and I also possess the qualities needed in this work. They are accuracy, energy, carefulness. But I hesitate if I have enough patience. I must develop it if I want to become a computer operator. I know that it would be better to choose a profession of an interpreter or any other occupation connected with Russian and literature because I am good at these subjects but when I began to study the computer skills that was what I have been looking for. In our modern world it’s hard to do without computers. They are needed everywhere, and I hope that my interests in this subject will never change inspite of any circumstances.

Choosing a career
is one of the most important and tough decisions people will
ever make in life. According to Confucius, “Find a job you love
and you will never work a day in your life.” It is absolutely
true. If you are passionate about your work, you have more
chances to succeed.
Well, choosing a
proper career is a conscious decision of a grown-up person, and
it is essential to explore job options that match your
interests, skills and knowledge. It is absolutely wrong to chase
your parents’ dreams. If you are not interested to work in a
field they want you do, always stand your ground. It is high
time for you to decide for yourself what to do for living and to
find your real calling. Moreover, when you make a choice, it is
also important to get appropriate education that will give you
all the necessary skills, knowledge and practical awareness.
Today there are a
lot of job options to choose from out there. Anyway, the choice
of professions depends on people’s individual abilities and
talents. Some people have dreams of becoming a doctor and saving
people’s lives, others like cooking and become master chefs.
There are people, for instance, who like taking care of animals,
and therefore become veterinary surgeons. Some people have a
talent for painting and are not good at the other things. It is
not difficult to guess that they become painters, designers or
architects. All in all, today the most popular jobs are office
clerks, policemen, teachers, waitresses, hairstylists, drivers
and some others.
As far as I am
concerned, I want to start my own business and open my own
travel agency. I am too independent and enterprising to work for
an employer. The idea of doing a nine-to-five job does not
appeal me at all. One of the reasons I want to set up my own
business or become self-employed is independence. To begin with,
I can earn money working from home and spend more time with
family and friends. Secondly, I can choose any work schedule
that suits me best. Thirdly, if you are your own boss, you avoid
the stressful daily commute and traffic jams. Furthermore,
self-employed people tend to have an extended vacation. Finally,
my success depends on me and my own decisions.
Some people think
that getting a good salary is more important than having the job
you really want. I am convinced that an enjoyable job equals a
worthy salary. For instance, people can turn their hobby into a
profitable business and earn decent money from home. Besides,
people spend too much time at work and it is wrong to waste time
on unpleasant things.

призвание. Более того, когда ты сделаешь свой выбор, также важно
получить соответствующее образование, которое даст тебе

огромен. Но, так или иначе, все зависит от индивидуальных
способностей и талантов человека. Некоторые мечтают стать
врачами и спасать жизни людей, другим нравится кулинария, и они
становятся шеф-поварами.
Есть те, кто, к примеру, любит заботиться о животных и,
следовательно, становится ветеринаром. У некоторых есть талант к
рисованию, но нет других способностей. Несложно догадаться, что
они становятся художниками, дизайнерами или архитекторами. Так
или иначе, сегодня среди наиболее популярных профессий можно
выделить офисных служащих, полицейских, учителей, официантов,
парикмахеров, водителей и других.
Лично я хочу открыть свое дело и
учредить собственное бюро путешествий. Я слишком независима и
предприимчива, чтобы работать на шефа. Меня совершенно не
привлекает восьмичасовой график работы. Начнем с того, что я
смогу зарабатывать деньги не выходя из дома и проводить больше
времени со своей семьей и друзьями. Во-вторых, я смогу выбрать
любой график, который мне больше всего подходит. В-третьих, если
ты — сам себе начальник, тебе не придется стоять в пробках,
добираясь на работу. Кроме того, у людей, работающих на себя,
обычно более длинный отпуск. В конечном счете, мой успех
полностью будет зависеть от меня и от моих собственных решений.
Некоторые люди считают, что высокая
зарплата важнее любимой работы. Я убеждена, что если работа
приносит удовольствие, то достойная зарплата гарантирована. К

There is a wide choice of different professions and I`d like to tell you about my hesitation what to choose. In my childhood I wanted to become a famous singer or actor but when I was aware of all the difficulties of these professions I decided to refuse of my dream. Then I was going to become a vet. I imagined myself treating different animals, taking care of them, feeding and walking with them in the park, but this dream hadn`t also come true.
It goes without saying that every person must choose his profession according his natural abilities and inclinations to it. So I have decided to connect my life with a profession of a teacher because I am sure that it`s my cup of tea. On the one hand it`s a great responsibility for children, on the other hand it`s a very interesting, exciting and valuable profession in our life. Besides you won`t be able to succeed as a teacher if you don`t like children. Your success depends on a lot of things. At first you should be communicative, very organized and hardworking. You must be skilful in your profession. It is also necessary to understand pupils, give them a helping hand and be ready to solve their problems. More than that you must be polite and tactful.
Profession of a teacher is a great profession and it is known that who doesn`t work in this sphere, won`t be able to understand all the essence of it.
Nowadays there are thousands of different occupations but the most important role in choosing this or that one, plays a salary, of course. It is so, but to my mind, it`s impossible to work only for that purpose “earning a lot of money”.Our job must bring us satisfaction and always only pleasant emotions. So in conclusion I`d like to advise people to choose their profession carefully, taking every thing into their consideration.
The matter of choosing a career
I’m going to tell you about my future profession. There are two most important things in anyone’s life: choosing a career and getting a job. Some pupils know what they are going to do after leaving school but for others it’s difficult to give a definite answer about their future profession. We get to know about a wide range of professions from magazines and advertisements and then we make either our own choice or follow our parents’ advice as they are also concerned about our future.
Choosing a career
When choosing a career one should take into consideration all the possibilities that it might provide. First of all, it should be interesting. Secondly, one has to be sure to be able to find a good and well-paid job after graduating. Another important factor that influences the choice of the profession is our abilities to different disciplines. One has to analyze thoroughly which things or subjects he or she is good at, and only then make a final choice.
I want to be an interpreter
As for me, since my childhood I’ve known I want to be an interpreter. My choice is closely connected with the importance of foreign languages and cultures which is growing nowadays. Foreign languages are needed for communication with people on our planet. I believe that among all, English is the most universal and widely spread. It’s an official language in a vast number of countries. Besides, it’s the language of international aviation, sports, medicine, the language of science and technology, trade, cultural and business relations.
Conclusion
I’m quite aware that the job of an interpreter isn’t an easy one. You have to be very communicative and responsible. Moreover, be prepared to work long hours and move around a lot. But on the other hand you’ll have a chance to travel to different foreign countries and to meet a lot of interesting people. I think this profession is worth taking up. Being a student of the University I pay special attention to English and try to work hard. I hope I’ve made the right decision.
One of the most difficult decisions in our life is choosing what to do for a living when we grow up. Finishing school means starting independent lives and choosing one of the roads: a technical school or a university. Starting our life with a right profession is very important because the future of young people depends on this choice. That is why they must choose it with utmost care analyzing all pros and cons. Besides our friends and older relatives can influence our choice or just give a good piece of advice.
It isn’t easy to find a good job. You could be a very pleasant personality but still the employers won’t give you the position of your dream if you don’t have proper qualifications for that kind of job. So it’s essential to analyze what education and what skills are required for your job. To be good at computers and to have a good command of English is absolutely necessary for modern jobs.
In our modern fast paced world there are plenty of new interesting and socially important professions. The future profession must not be boring for you. It should suit your interests and your features of character. You might choose working indoors or outdoors, dealing with people or just with papers. In other words you should enjoy the work you do. It should also satisfy your career plans and professional ambitions. It should provide us with a chance of professional growth and personal development.
I am sure that all of us want to earn as much money as possible. However many young people are wise enough to follow a definite career and earn quite a low salary at the beginning. They realize that they have good prospects in a company that trains its staff and soon they can climb the career ladder. At the same time there are young people who would rather prefer taking any kind of work because they just need an income. Even so we must admit that any temporary jobs help us gain much useful experience and we can learn a lot.

Она должна соответствовать вашим интересам и качествам характера. Вы можете предпочесть работу в помещении или же на улице, иметь дело с людьми или же с бумагами. Другими словами, вы должны наслаждаться своей работой. Она должна удовлетворять вашим карьерным планам и профессиональным целям. Она должна обеспечить вас возможностью профессионального роста и личностного развития.
Я уверен, что все мы хотим зарабатывать как можно больше денег. Однако многие молодые люди достаточно мудры, чтобы придерживаться определенной карьеры и зарабатывать в самом начале довольно мало. Они осознают, что у них есть хорошая перспектива в компании, которая занимается обучением своего персонала и что вскоре они смогут подняться по карьерной лестнице. English in my future profession
Nowadays English is considered the international language, it certainly can come in handy in my life and in my future career. I decided to choose such profession as a journalist. English is the main part of the work of a journalist. With good knowledge of English I would feel more confident in my work.
Now I would like to express my point of view on the problem of learning foreign languages. For a journalist often communicated with foreigners, English would be necessary. Especially, when the interviewer feels comfortable himself during the communication and there are no any bounds. The journalist often travels around the world collecting information, it is important to be able to adapt quickly and to communicate with citizens without any constraint or difficulties, not knowing the language is a huge obstacle. He needed at international conferences, congresses and festivals, and when visiting such events, it would be important to feel this atmosphere.
It is a well-known fact that the journalist must be able to transmit information without difficulty, to convey it to the listener. I will have the opportunity to translate articles without too much fuss. English contributes to the professional development and career growth. Knowing the language is more marketable as an employee, but have a good knowledge of English is more important, I can work abroad. And if I want to reach the international level, without English it is impossible. Journalist needs to be able to convey his thoughts and feelings clearly.
In addition, the English language contributes to personal development, expanding horizons. English is now an important part of this world, it promotes communication between citizens of different countries. English opens all new possibilities. It must be taught in order to discover great prospects.

We live in a world in which many people communicate with each other in English. Nowadays, English is very popular all over the world. Every year it is gaining popularity and becoming more frequently used. There are many professions related to the use of English, for example, a linguist or an interpreter.
The first thing that needs to be said is that English appeared three years ago in my life. I forced to learn German, but I liked English more. I enjoy studying English! Learning this language helps people to develop better and find new friends.
Another good thing about English in the future is that it will be very useful to me, even if it will not be a part of my profession. After finishing school I want to go to the philological faculty. If in my future I will be a philologist, foreign languages ??will be very useful to me. With the help of English many opportunities will open up to me, for example, during practice I can go to another country and get a lot of experience, learn a lot of new things.
What is more English will be useful not only in my future profession, but also in my hobby. Since my childhood I really love to sing. I’ve been singing since I was five. Thanks to the English language, I can sing not only Russian songs, but also songs in English.
In a word, English is very important in our life and in our future career. Therefore, learning English is essential in today’s Global World. If a person wants to succeed in his chosen field he has to know English, so start to improve your English as soon as possible.
I think that English will gain popularity every year, because to study it, it’s very interesting!

English in My Future Career I’m in the tenth grade and already think about the choice of my career. As we know there are many professions in the world and all of them are necessary and important. Among them I chose the profession of journalist. For mastering this profession requires knowledge of Russian language, literature, history, social studies and English, of course.
The first thing that needs to be said is that I like to write notes in the newspapers about places I have visited. For example, I wrote a note about my trip to St. Petersburg for a competition. Besides, I gave an interview about my travelling to camp “Artek” in the Crimea. It is undeniable that the journalist illumines the real events happening in the country and in the world. This profession is interesting to me because journalist can travel round the world in search of interesting facts, to communicate with people from different countries.
Moreover it is necessary to have the knowledge of foreign languages, especially English. It is the most widely spoken language in the world. It is important that journalist can fluent in the language, especially in its spoken forms. The journalist must know the grammar, the syntax, and how to write articles in Russian and in English correctly.
One cannot deny that the journalist should be honest, competent on many issues of politics, economy and culture. I have the most concern to light cultural events and achievements of science. In my opinion these subjects are given very insufficient attention. I would like to create my own author’s program on television. Personally I believe that it’ll be represented in Russia and abroad.
Taking everything into consideration, I can say that the profession of a journalist requires a lot of knowledge and practical skills. English is an integral part of this profession. Every self-respecting journalist should know a foreign language in order his articles and reports might heard and read everyone all over the world.

It is undeniable that English plays a huge role in the life of a person who is striving for the successful development of his career. The most widely spread language on the planet is English, spoken by five countries: Great Britain, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
Everyone knows that to get a good profession you need to know English. For example, a guide, a wonderful, creative profession, is in great demand in the world. Many tourist groups of people from different English-speaking countries come to Russia and are involved in the culture of Russia and often use the service of a guide. Outside of our country, Russians who visit English-speaking countries also need a guide. Russian people often visit distant corners of the planet, learning about culture, everyday life and many other interesting things with the help of a guide.
What is more this profession is for sociable, inquisitive people who want to communicate with interesting people from other countries. For the profession of a guide, excellent knowledge of English broad outlook, good speech, ability of the organizer, love of art, ability to interest customers, good friendly relations with different people are required.
Thus, English is a very popular language in our time, as different programs on the computer are made in this language, various instructions are written for technology, furniture and many other things. Every well-educated person should be able to speak English, it is the language of communication, business, culture and science. English lessons at my school are very interesting because I can learn a lot of words that will help me in my future profession. Let’s learn English together!

Я считаю, все профессии по-своему хороши. Только подумайте, что бы мы делали без докторов, инженеров и рабочих? Наша жизнь была бы совершенно иной без экономистов, адвокатов и, конечно же, без учителей.
Мне хотелось попробовать различные профессии, потому что все они кажутся мне достаточно интересными. Но мое призвание – стать учителем. Я решила, что в будущем я хочу стать учителем математики. Я очень люблю деток и отлично разбираюсь в математике. Конечно, мне ещё многому нужно научиться, но я стараюсь, как могу.
В моей семье есть несколько учителей и все они довольны своей профессией. Порой дети огорчают их и мои родные очень устают на работе, но вообще школа делает их счастливыми. Вот поэтому я бы хотела стать учителем математики и физики. Это два самых моих любимых предмета. Если бы у меня была возможность, я бы проводила вдвое больше времени, чтобы учить эти предметы. В конце школы мне нужно будет сдать экзамены и пройти финальные тесты, чтобы поступить в университет.
Я думаю для учителя самое важное полюбить свой предмет, иметь достаточно терпения и интерес к детям, чтобы объяснять правила снова и снова. Я как раз такой человек. Я очень внимательная к деталям и знаю, как справиться с детьми.
С другой стороны, зарплата учителя в России не очень высокая. К сожалению, многие профессии без высшего образования оплачиваются куда лучше, чем профессия учителя. Это не честно, но таков мой выбор. Может, однажды я изменю своё решение, но сегодня я чувствую, что смогу помочь нашей системе образования.
Как по мне, это очень благородная, важная и интересная профессия. Вы не просто станете учителем своего предмета, но и вам придётся многому научиться у своих детей. Работа должна сделать вас счастливой и тогда каждый день вы будете просыпаться и ходить на работу с улыбкой.
My Future Profession
Finishing school
can be compared with starting a new life, an independent life
for millions of pupils. They have a lot of opportunities to
continue their education, to get higher education and to become
professionally trained specialists. Many roads are provided for
the prospective student: colleges, institutes and universities.
But it is certainly a difficult task to choose a profession for
yourself, to find your path from out of more than 2,000 existing
in the world. Some pupils listen to their parent’s advice;
others cannot make a decision even after leaving school.
As for me, I have found my way in professional world long ago. I
want to become a teacher of the English language and literature.
My choice of this occupation was not a sudden flash.
During all school studies, literature was one of my favorite
subject. I have read plenty of literary works, especially novels
and science fiction by Russian and foreign writers and poets. I
am absolutely sure, that reading books is an essential part of
self-education and self-improvement.
I would like to teach my students enjoy the process of reading,
to encourage them to learn our national language and literature,
in order to be able to speak eloquently and to fascinate
everyone with their speech. Teaching is a really specific and
difficult job. It should be treated with respect. The educator
is a person who is learning and teaching through all his life.
Most jobs have limited working hours, for instance from 9 a. m.
until 5 p. m., but teacher’s work continues during all evenings,
which they usually spend in, marking exercise books and
preparing for the next classes.
Teachers do not only teach their subjects, a real teacher
develops genuine interest in the subject, so that students will
plunge with their heads in their study. They try to develop all
kinds of intelligence, such as logical, visual, musical,
interpersonal and body intelligence. Teachers play an important
role in forming the views and characters of students, their
attitudes to life and to other people. It is a great
responsibility and a teacher must be a model of competence
himself.
Not every work is as easy as it can seem at first. But I think
that love for children plus the knowledge I’ll get at the
University would give me enough information and skills to be
quite successful in my work and to go up the career ladder.
I am applying to the philological department and I am sure my
dream will come true as soon as possible.

Окончание школы можно сравнить с
началом новой жизни, самостоятельной жизни для миллионов
школьников. У них много возможностей для продолжения своего
образования, получения высшего образования, они могут стать
профессионально обученными специалистами. Будущим студентам
открыто много дорог: колледжи, институты и университеты.
Но, конечно, это сложная задача — найти свою стезю, выбрать
профессию для себя из более чем 2000 существующих в мире.
Некоторые ученики слушают советы своих родителей, другие не
могут принять решение даже после окончания школы.
Что касается меня, я давно нашел свой путь в профессиональном
мире. Я хочу стать учителем английского языка и литературы. Мой
выбор профессии не был случайным.
В школе литература была одним из моих любимых предметов. Я
прочитал много литературных произведений, особенно романов и
научной фантастики русских и зарубежных писателей и поэтов. Я
абсолютно уверен, что чтение книг является неотъемлемой частью
самовоспитания и самосовершенствования.
Я бы хотел научить своих студентов наслаждаться процессом
чтения, побудить их узнать наш национальный язык и нашу
литературу, для того чтобы иметь возможность говорить
красноречиво и очаровывать всех своей речью. Обучение — это на
самом деле специфическая и трудная работа. К ней следует
относиться с некоторым уважением. Учитель — это человек, который
учится и учит на протяжении всей жизни.
Работа в большинстве своем ограничена рабочими часами, например,
с 9 утра до 5 вечера, но работа учителей продолжается и по
вечерам, которые они обычно проводят, выставляя оценки в тетради
учеников и готовясь к следующим урокам.
Учителя не только учат своим предметам, настоящий учитель
стремится вызвать неподдельный интерес к теме, чтобы студенты
погрузились в обучение с головой. Они пытаются развить все виды
восприятия (интеллекта), такие как логический, визуальный,
музыкальный, межличностный и телесный. Учителя играют важную
роль в формировании мировоззрения студентов и их характеров, их
отношения к жизни и к другим людям. Это огромная
ответственность, и учитель сам должен быть образцом компетенции.
Каждая работа не так проста, как это может показаться на первый
взгляд. Но я считаю, что любовь к детям в сочетании со знаниями,
которые я получу в университете, даст мне достаточно информации
и навыков, чтобы быть вполне успешным в своей работе и двигаться
по карьерной лестнице.
Я подаю заявку на обучение на филологическом факультете, и я
уверен, что моя мечта сбудется так скоро, насколько это
возможно.

When you leave school you understand that the time to choose your future profession, your future life has become. It’s not an easy to make the right choice of a job. I have known for long time that leaving school is the beginning of my independent life, the beginning of a far more serious examination of my abilities and character.
What do I want to be when I leave school? It’s very important question for me. A few years ago it was difficult for me to give a definite answer. As the years passed I changed my mind a lot of times about what science or field of industry to specialize in. It’s difficult to make up my mind and choose one of the hundreds jobs to which I might be better suited. A coupe of years ago I wanted to become a doctor, you know I wanted to help people who had problems with health. Then I wanted to become a policeman, then a spaceman, I even wanted to become a professional football player. But all of them now are in the past; they were like children’s dreams and nothing more. Now I have already decided what to do. I’d like to be an aviator. I know that it’s very difficult. I should know perfectly everything about the planes, airports, weather and other things. You know that the weather is very important thing for the flights too. I must be well educated and well informed. So that’s why at first I am going to go to the Aviation University in Moscow, then when I finish studding I’ll go to my country to try to get a job in the air companies. You know may be something will be not OK, because I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but I know that I’ll do everything to realize my plane and my dreams.
I also want to say that the profession should be chosen according to the character and hobbies of the person. That’s why parents mustn’t make their children choose the thing they like (parents like). Children must do it themselves. Because they must love the thing they do, believe that people need them and their job will bring them more pleasure.

Трудно решиться и выбрать одно из сотен рабочих мест, в котором я могу быть лучше.Несколько лет назад я хотел стать врачом, вы знаете, я хотел помочь людям, которые имеют проблемы со здоровьем. Тогда я хотел стать полицейским, то космонавтом, я даже хотел стать профессиональным футболистом.
Но все эти мысли сейчас находятся в прошлом, они были похожи на детские мечты и не более того. Теперь я уже решил, что делать. Я бы хотел быть летчиком. Я знаю, что это очень трудно. Я прекрасно знаю все о самолетах, аэропортах, погоде и других вещах. Вы знаете, что погода очень важная вещь для рейсов тоже. Я должен быть хорошо образован и хорошо информирован. Так вот почему сначала я собираюсь пойти в авиационный университет в Москве, потом, когда я закончу, я пойду в мою страну, чтобы попытаться устроиться на работу в авиакомпании.
Вы знаете, может быть что-то будет не в порядке, потому что я не знаю, что будет завтра, но я знаю, что я сделаю все, чтобы реализовать свои намерения и мои мечты.Я также хочу сказать, что профессия должна быть выбрана в зависимости от характера и увлечений человека. Вот почему родители должны принимать выбор своих детей. Дети должны делать это самостоятельно. Plans for future is a problem that worries not only me, but my friends, classmates, parents and teachers. The reason is that at the age of 17 we have to make a very important choice in our life – the choice of a profession. On the one hand, I’m adult enough to have an opinion of my own about what I’m interested in and what I’m good at. On the other hand, at this age we lack life experience and our desires sometimes don’t coincide with our possibilities. That’s why it’s very important to have somebody to give us a piece of advice. Such people are our parents, teachers and friends.
As for me, I want to be an economist. I like to read books of economics, research articles and analyze them. Nowadays this profession has become one of the most useful, modern and interesting. Also, I want to study economics as I’m very interested in current economic processes both in our country and in other countries. It’s not a secret that our country (Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan) is now through a difficult periods of times. That’s why it’s very important for our country to have efficient economists to raise our economy at a high level.
I hope that I’ll be a good economist. Like many other people I would like to spend a year abroad working as an economist. It would give me an opportunity to borrow the experience and to see the world.
So, I’ll do everything to become a good economist and I’m sure I’ll never regret my decision to follow this career.

Hi, everyone! My name is Olga, and I’m graduating from school this year. As for many teenagers, the choice of future career is a real challenge for me. There are so many jobs, so it’s rather difficult to make the right decision. Furthermore, I’m firmly convinced that the choice of future career is essential, and I don’t want to regret it for the rest of my life.
So I have been thinking about it for a long time. I have discussed it many times with my parents and closest friends, but I’m still a bit confused.
Firstly, I had a wish to do something I am keen on. I suppose turning your hobby into your future job is a great way one can become a successful specialist. I think I’m not bad at writing stories. I absolutely adore it! I can spend evenings thinking about the characters and the plot of my stories. I’m also fond of making illustrations to them. In addition, all the process of story making is very enjoyable to me. That’s why I firmly believe that working as a writer is the best variant for me.
The only problem is that my parents totally disagree with me. They say it’s not the right way to make money and it’s just my childish dream. They think I must be realistic and force me to become a programmer. I love computers and I spend quite a lot of time sitting in front of one, but programming is a completely different thing. I’m attending a programming course at the moment, so I can see it’s not something I’d really want to do.
Thus, I hope I’ll be able to make the right choice, but for now future career is still an open issue.

Всем привет! Меня зовут Ольга, и я заканчиваю школу в этом году. Для меня, как и для многих подростков, выбор будущей профессии является настоящим испытанием. Существует так много профессий, поэтому очень тяжело принять верное решение. К тому же, я глубоко убеждена, что выбор будущей профессии существенно важен, и мне не хочется сожалеть о нем всю мою дальнейшую жизнь.
Я размышляю об этом уже долго. Обсуждала этот вопрос с моими родителями и близкими друзьями уже много раз, но я все еще в замешательстве.
Изначально я хотела заниматься тем, что мне нравится. Я думаю, превратив свое хобби в будущую профессию, можно стать успешным профессионалом. Думаю, мне хорошо дается написание рассказов. Я просто обожаю это. Я могу проводить целые вечера, продумывая персонажей, а также сюжет моих историй. Мне также нравится делать иллюстрации к ним. Более того, весь процесс, связанный с написанием рассказов очень занимателен. Поэтому я глубоко убеждена, что профессия писателя — наиболее подходящий для меня вариант.
Но есть одна проблема. Мои родители абсолютно не согласны со мной. Они говорят, что это не приносит доход и что это всего лишь моя детская мечта. Они считают, что я должна быть реалисткой и выбрать профессию программиста. Мне нравится работать с компьютером, и я провожу много времени за ним. Но программирование — это совсем другое. Я сейчас посещаю курс программирования, и я понимаю, что это не то, чем я бы хотела заниматься.
Итак, я надеюсь, что я смогу принять правильное решение, но пока вопрос выбора будущей профессии остается для меня открытым.
