The family is an important part of everyone`s life. My family members are the people who always support me and are ready to help in every situation. There are five members in my family: my mother, father, elder sister, younger brother and me.

So, as you see, members of our family are very different. Mom is an artist, Dad is a “simple guy” as he calls himself, brother is a smart student with an unusual hobby. I am a quiet boy, I enjoy reading books. I prefer do it in the library, because it is usually rather noisy at home. There are too many people in three rooms. Sometimes we quarrel about something, but it is never serious. I love my family very much and they love me too.

In this world of doubt, insecurity, and fear, my family is always there for me, holding their arms open to me with love. On the first day of first grade, I didn’t want to go to school, I had butterflies in my stomach and I found it difficult to walk because I was so nervous. The only reason that I finally went into the classroom is because my mom walked in with me, and promised me that as soon as school was out, she’d be there waiting for me, ready to bring me back to where I felt most comfortable, my family.
Luckily, I’m a little more grown up now; I can go into school by myself, and in a couple of years, when I go away to college, I’ll really have to go to school by myself. There will be no one who I will know at college. Of course I know I’ll make friends, but none of them will mean as much to me as my family does.

My large family
I live in a large family. There are eight members in it. They are my father, my mother, my grand-father, my grand-mother, myself, my brother and my two sisters.
The name of my father is Shri Narottam Nayak. He is a farmer. He works in the field. My mother lives inside the house. She cooks food for us. She looks after the household. The names of my two sisters are Jhilli and Milli. They help my mother in her household work. My brother is youner than I. His name is Shri Nabe Kishore Nayak. He reads in Class. VII in our Village M. E. School. I am a student of Class X and I read in the M. S. Academy, Tirtol.
The house where we live is made of mud and wattle. The whole structure is supported by the wooden pillars. There are a lot of rooms in my house. These are two sleeping-rooms, one store-room one study, one drawing-room and a kitchen. Outside the rooms there is a cow-shed and a shed for the thrashing horse. There is a very spacious courtyard in my house area.
My father earns about four thousand rupees a year from his field. We manage somehow with this small income. My mother is a very careful lady. She takes much care so that no unnecessary wastage is possible in our family. We get milk from our cows. From our garden we get fruits and vegetables.
Generally, we eat cooked food like rice, dal, curry, fry, toast, roast, milk and tea. My mother likes to eat rice water. Our Tiffin include beaten rice, fried rice, wheat bread, cakes and milk-products. None in my family has taken to any kind of narcotic except my grand father who under necessity takes a little opium everyday in the evening.
Our clothing are no better than the common countryside clothing of Orissa. My father and grand-father wear cotton clothes. My mother and grand-mother wear cotton sarees. I put on a half pant and a shirt. My brother also puts on as I do. My sisters put on frocks and pants.
The fountain of affection is ever flown in our family. We have pure love and affection for one another. My mother serves my grand-father and grand mother with full devotion of heart. My grand-father and grand mother are very affectionate people. There is complete accord between my father and mother and among all of us. My father works day and night to maintain our family. He never does anything without consulting my mother, grand mother and grand father. We, the children, are very serviceable to all in my family. We like one another and help one another. Я не могу представить свою жизнь без своей семьи. Семья для меня является самой важной и ценной и это то, к чему вы не должны относиться, как к чему-либо должному. Без моей семьи, огромная часть моей жизни и культуры были бы мне неизвестны.
Я знаю, что всегда могу положиться на любого члена моей семьи: бабушку, дедушку, две сестры, маму или папу. Они всегда придут на помощь. На самом деле, самой важной вещью, которой меня научила семья, является тот факт, что семья состоит из людей, которые доверяют друг другу и готовы помочь. Множество раз, мы читали в газетах о семьях, где родители оскорбляли своих детей как физически, так и на словах. Но эти родители не осознавали, что они либо начинают попадать или уже попали в порочный круг ненависти в семьях. Когда родители оскорбляют детей, они говорят, что так нужно воспитывать своих детей и, тем самым, учат их такому же поведению. Мне посчастливилось научиться другому, потому что моя семья заботиться обо мне, и я забочусь о них.
В этом мире сомнений, неуверенности и страхов, моя семья всегда рядом со мной и держит свои объятия распахнутыми для меня с любовью. В первый день первого класса, я не хотел идти в школу. У меня были бабочки в животе, и было тяжело идти, так как я очень сильно нервничал. Наконец, единственной причиной идти в школу для меня стала мама, которая проводила меня в класс и пообещала, что сразу же заберет меня после уроков и отвезет домой, к моей семье.
К счастью, я уже повзрослел и могу ходить в школу самостоятельно. Через несколько лет, когда я уеду в колледж, я буду точно ходить один. В колледже не будет знакомых и конечно же, я заведу друзей, но никто из них не будет значит для меня то же самое, что и моя семья.

My large family
I live in a large family. There are eight members in it. They are my father, my mother, my grand-father, my grand-mother, myself, my brother and my two sisters.
The name of my father is Shri Narottam Nayak. He is a farmer. He works in the field. My mother lives inside the house. She cooks food for us. She looks after the household. The names of my two sisters are Jhilli and Milli. They help my mother in her household work. My brother is youner than I. His name is Shri Nabe Kishore Nayak. He reads in Class. VII in our Village M. E. School. I am a student of Class X and I read in the M. S. Academy, Tirtol.
The house where we live is made of mud and wattle. The whole structure is supported by the wooden pillars. There are a lot of rooms in my house. These are two sleeping-rooms, one store-room one study, one drawing-room and a kitchen. Outside the rooms there is a cow-shed and a shed for the thrashing horse. There is a very spacious courtyard in my house area.
My father earns about four thousand rupees a year from his field. We manage somehow with this small income. My mother is a very careful lady. She takes much care so that no unnecessary wastage is possible in our family. We get milk from our cows. From our garden we get fruits and vegetables.
Generally, we eat cooked food like rice, dal, curry, fry, toast, roast, milk and tea. My mother likes to eat rice water. Our Tiffin include beaten rice, fried rice, wheat bread, cakes and milk-products. None in my family has taken to any kind of narcotic except my grand father who under necessity takes a little opium everyday in the evening.
Our clothing are no better than the common countryside clothing of Orissa. My father and grand-father wear cotton clothes. My mother and grand-mother wear cotton sarees. I put on a half pant and a shirt. My brother also puts on as I do. My sisters put on frocks and pants.
The fountain of affection is ever flown in our family. We have pure love and affection for one another. My mother serves my grand-father and grand mother with full devotion of heart. My grand-father and grand mother are very affectionate people. There is complete accord between my father and mother and among all of us. My father works day and night to maintain our family. He never does anything without consulting my mother, grand mother and grand father. We, the children, are very serviceable to all in my family. We like one another and help one another. My family is no doubt a happy family.
