I think summer is the best season of all because it is warm, the nature is beautiful and we have great opportunities for rest. Summer is a time of holidays. We can go anywhere, spend our time near a river or a lake on fresh, green grass, swim in warm water, or climb mountains, play different games, ride a bicycle and so on.
I spend my summer holidays at my granny’s. There are many things there to do. What I did most of the time – I swam in the sea and sunbathed. Sometimes I made a fire with my friends at the seaside and cooked potatoes there. It was wonderful. We told anecdotes to each other, and did everything we wanted. I also got used to walk alone in the forest.

Of course, it was not interesting, but I’m glad that I did it because now I’m a student of the best university in our country.

After a long and difficult school year you get really tired of studies, so I’m going to enjoy my summer holidays and have much fun. I hope they will be as exciting as my last summer holidays were. I would like to spend the first summer month in the country, at my grandparents’. My friends and cousins will be waiting for me there. I miss them so much. I can’t wait for July because our family will travel to the seaside. We shall stay in a rented house for 2 weeks. As for August, I would like to stay in the city and spend the time with my friends walking around, going to the cinema and cafes, playing computer games. My dream is to sleep as much as I like and to do what I like. I will ride my bike, go skateboarding or roller-skating in the park.

Summer is my favourite season of the year because hard and busy school time is over and long holidays are waiting for me. I always plan a lot of wonderful things to do during my summer vacation.
My holidays
Almost each year I spent my holidays in the country at my grandparents’. I adore that place for its landscape. There is a nice river and the woods where my friends and I can gather berries and mushrooms. We also enjoy swimming in the river and sunbathing when the weather is fine. Apart from this, I’m always ready to help my grannies around the house or in the garden watering plants and gathering fruit and vegetables. I like going fishing with my grandpa and cooking the fish over the fire. And one more thing which is worth saying is that I have a chance to breathe fresh country air and forget about the dust and the smokes of the city. Indeed I have a great time in the country with my lovely grandparents. I wish I could visit them more often.
Last summer
Last summer I spent my holidays at the seaside with my family. It was for the first time and I couldn’t even imagine such excellent holidays. We were there in August and were lucky to have sunny weather and warm sea all the time. It was so pleasant to have a rest doing nothing except taking sunbathes and swimming. There were different kinds of entertainment but best of all I liked water scooters and discos. I was also playing with my little sister on the sand and taught her to swim. Besides, I made some new friends and we had a lot of fun together. We went on several field trips. The one I will never forget was riding a jeep across numerous rivers in the mountains. Unfortunately the time passed very quickly and we had to return back home. However, there were still two more weeks left before school. How I spent summer holidays
Summer is my favorite season. Summer holidays give the longest rest from studying of the year that”s why I like them so much.
In June I stayed at home and my parents were at work. But I was glad because at last I had time for myself. I read books, listened to music, watched films and visited my friend. I spend most days outdoors and got a nice sun tan.
Then I spent two weeks in the summer camp on the seaside. It was a real fun. I met a lot of new friends. Every day we enjoyed something special — games, carnivals, competitions, performances. We went to the seaside twice a day. There we swam, bathed in the sun, played volleyball on the beach, made sculptures of sand. We had discos every night, but not too long. I guess, those were the most exciting weeks of the summer. It gave me bright impressions, lots of funny photos and some new friends.
Then my parents were on vacation and so they took me to my parent”s place in the village. It”s a very picturesque place with a forest and a river nearby. I was happy to see my grandmother and grandfather. I spent hot days on the riverbank. Once we went hiking with my parents, made fire, gathered some berries. The summer forest is very beautiful. In the evening I usually helped in the garden.

How did I spend my summer holidays? It was great! I suppose that summer is the happiest period of our childhood, because we always need a good rest after working hard at school during a year.
I did nothing in June and July, just got some sun baths. It was amazing to hear your own thoughts instead of yammer of classmates and to relax without them. Frankly speaking, it was a little bit boring because my parents worked a lot and I was absolutely alone all the time in our big flat. But I was glad because I had time for myself at last. I was reading books, watcing films, series, listening to music, and visiting my best friend Susan. I spent most days outdoors and got a perfect suntan. Sometimes I invited my friends to play computer games, watch TV or just go for a walk together.
In August, my parents finally took a two-week vacation and we decided to spend this time abroad. We went to Turkey and the journey was marvelous. All days and all nights we were swimming in the warm and beautiful sea, drinking cocktails, dancing with locals, and tasting some delicious and so sweet bonbons and candies. We lived in 4-star hotel in the heart of Istanbul. We went to Sapphire mall and took a 4D Sky Ride. Besides, we were flying in a helicopter all over Istanbul. That was a great opportunity to choose the places where travelers could go. The Hagia Sophia Mosque, the underground water storage area and the Top Kapi Palace were the most fascinating places of the city. I also found many new friends and got my first kiss there.
Probably, I’m really ready to go back to school, because my summer holidays increased my stamina and made me full of energy. Actually, I could have a rest after such an intensive rest, but I’m eager to meet my friends, classmates and teachers.
After each term in school we had our holidays. It’s fun to have holidays, you can do whatever you like, you don’t have to get up too early, do your homework or think of troubles which occur very often at school.
Most of all I liked summer holidays, they were the longest ones, though, when winter was snowy and and frosty, I enjoyed my winter holidays skating and skiing, sledging and making a snowman or having a fight with snowballs.
I’d like to tell you about my summer holidays I spent in Sochi. It was just three years ago. My parents and me were sitting in the living-room discussing our plans for the summer holidays. My father suggested that we should go to Sochi. On hearing that I jumped up with joy and said it was a wonderful idea. My mother wasn’t against the idea either. So one summer morning we started for our journey to Sochi.
First, we travelled to Odessa by plane and from there we got to Sochi by boat. We stayed in Odessa for three days, our relatives live there and they gave us board and lodging. So we had an excellent opportunity to go round the city, to see beautiful monuments to the famous people who had lived in Odessa, museums and the Odessa Opera House.
We enjoyed our trip from Odessa to Sochi. The Black Sea was calm. We sat on deck in the lounge chairs and looked at the sea. I like Sochi very much, we bathed and went boating and swimming, lay in the sun on the beach. In the evenings we went for a walk or dropped in at a cafe to have ice-cream or juice.
My father showed us the famous Botanical Gardens, we went for hikes in the mountains, we saw the magnificent Augura Waterfalls. The sea was nice and warm. The weather was fine. When it was time to go home, we were sorry to leave the marvellous town of Sochi.

My favourite season
Summer is my favourite season of the year because hard and busy school time is over and long holidays are waiting for me. I always plan a lot of wonderful things to do during my summer vacation.
My holidays
Almost each year I spent my holidays in the country at my grandparents’. I adore that place for its landscape. There is a nice river and the woods where my friends and I can gather berries and mushrooms. We also enjoy swimming in the river and sunbathing when the weather is fine. Apart from this, I’m always ready to help my grannies around the house or in the garden watering plants and gathering fruit and vegetables. I like going fishing with my grandpa and cooking the fish over the fire. And one more thing which is worth saying is that I have a chance to breathe fresh country air and forget about the dust and the smokes of the city. Indeed I have a great time in the country with my lovely grandparents. I wish I could visit them more often.
Last summer
Last summer I spent my holidays at the seaside with my family. It was for the first time and I couldn’t even imagine such excellent holidays. We were there in August and were lucky to have sunny weather and warm sea all the time. It was so pleasant to have a rest doing nothing except taking sunbathes and swimming. There were different kinds of entertainment but best of all I liked water scooters and discos. I was also playing with my little sister on the sand and taught her to swim. Besides, I made some new friends and we had a lot of fun together. We went on several field trips. The one I will never forget was riding a jeep across numerous rivers in the mountains. Unfortunately the time passed very quickly and we had to return back home. However, there were still two more weeks left before school. I spent that time reading books, listening to music, watching TV, playing computer games and going out with my friends.
Conclusion
In conclusion I want to say that I’m usually happy to get back to school as I can meet my friends and teachers again but I always look forward to having summer holidays.
I have a good summer holidays this year. And now I want to tell you about my rest time during my summer. The school year is over and I can do that I want. But my parents decide to send me to the summer camp. At the beginning I was angry, but my adventures were waiting me in the future.
I went to the summer camp. At the beginning I didn’t feel myself well. But in the second day I got acquainted with a good boy. We are speaking a lot of time about everything in the world. I was out-living for my friends, when they took part in chess competitions.
We had very much interesting events in the summer camp. I was in many interesting concerts. We listened rising stars. It was so wonderful. Also I went on the dance club. I danced with the best girl in the camp. All bays wanted to meet with her, but she looked only on me. It’s so beautiful, and I was so happy. She was the best girl in our camp.
We had many interesting times. We were drawing, swimming, took part in the sports competitions, watching interesting concerts. It was the best time in my life. What I was stupid, when I was angry on my parents in the beginning of the summer.
When I came back home from the summer camp, I asked forgiveness at my parents. I thankful them for my summer holidays. Now I can tell my classmates about the best summer holidays.

How I spent summer holidays
Summer is my favorite season. Summer holidays give the longest rest from studying of the year that”s why I like them so much.
In June I stayed at home and my parents were at work. But I was glad because at last I had time for myself. I read books, listened to music, watched films and visited my friend. I spend most days outdoors and got a nice sun tan.
Then I spent two weeks in the summer camp on the seaside. It was a real fun. I met a lot of new friends. Every day we enjoyed something special — games, carnivals, competitions, performances. We went to the seaside twice a day. There we swam, bathed in the sun, played volleyball on the beach, made sculptures of sand. We had discos every night, but not too long. I guess, those were the most exciting weeks of the summer. It gave me bright impressions, lots of funny photos and some new friends.
Then my parents were on vacation and so they took me to my parent”s place in the village. It”s a very picturesque place with a forest and a river nearby. I was happy to see my grandmother and grandfather. I spent hot days on the riverbank. Once we went hiking with my parents, made fire, gathered some berries. The summer forest is very beautiful. In the evening I usually helped in the garden.
Last month of the summer I was at home again, having rest from such an intensive rest! I did usual things and prepared for school. I like my summer holidays!

How did I spend my summer holidays? It was great! I suppose that summer is the happiest period of our childhood, because we always need a good rest after working hard at school during a year.
I did nothing in June and July, just got some sun baths. It was amazing to hear your own thoughts instead of yammer of classmates and to relax without them. Frankly speaking, it was a little bit boring because my parents worked a lot and I was absolutely alone all the time in our big flat. But I was glad because I had time for myself at last. I was reading books, watcing films, series, listening to music, and visiting my best friend Susan. I spent most days outdoors and got a perfect suntan. Sometimes I invited my friends to play computer games, watch TV or just go for a walk together.
In August, my parents finally took a two-week vacation and we decided to spend this time abroad. We went to Turkey and the journey was marvelous. All days and all nights we were swimming in the warm and beautiful sea, drinking cocktails, dancing with locals, and tasting some delicious and so sweet bonbons and candies. We lived in 4-star hotel in the heart of Istanbul. We went to Sapphire mall and took a 4D Sky Ride. Besides, we were flying in a helicopter all over Istanbul. That was a great opportunity to choose the places where travelers could go. The Hagia Sophia Mosque, the underground water storage area and the Top Kapi Palace were the most fascinating places of the city. I also found many new friends and got my first kiss there.
Probably, I’m really ready to go back to school, because my summer holidays increased my stamina and made me full of energy. Actually, I could have a rest after such an intensive rest, but I’m eager to meet my friends, classmates and teachers.
After each term in school we had our holidays. It’s fun to have holidays, you can do whatever you like, you don’t have to get up too early, do your homework or think of troubles which occur very often at school.
Most of all I liked summer holidays, they were the longest ones, though, when winter was snowy and and frosty, I enjoyed my winter holidays skating and skiing, sledging and making a snowman or having a fight with snowballs.
I’d like to tell you about my summer holidays I spent in Sochi. It was just three years ago. My parents and me were sitting in the living-room discussing our plans for the summer holidays. My father suggested that we should go to Sochi. On hearing that I jumped up with joy and said it was a wonderful idea. My mother wasn’t against the idea either. So one summer morning we started for our journey to Sochi.
First, we travelled to Odessa by plane and from there we got to Sochi by boat. We stayed in Odessa for three days, our relatives live there and they gave us board and lodging. So we had an excellent opportunity to go round the city, to see beautiful monuments to the famous people who had lived in Odessa, museums and the Odessa Opera House.
We enjoyed our trip from Odessa to Sochi. The Black Sea was calm. We sat on deck in the lounge chairs and looked at the sea. I like Sochi very much, we bathed and went boating and swimming, lay in the sun on the beach. In the evenings we went for a walk or dropped in at a cafe to have ice-cream or juice.
My father showed us the famous Botanical Gardens, we went for hikes in the mountains, we saw the magnificent Augura Waterfalls. The sea was nice and warm. The weather was fine. When it was time to go home, we were sorry to leave the marvellous town of Sochi.
