People of all ages look for summer every year. It is a rest from work, the joy of sunny days after cold winter and rainy spring, a chance to travel or relax in nature. As for me, I always liked summer because of the possibility to stay with family and friends, to read my favorite books, and just to think about something important.

I think summer is the best season of all because it is warm, the nature is beautiful and we have great opportunities for rest. Summer is a time of holidays. Almost each year I spent my holidays in the country at my grandparents’. I adore that place for its landscape. Last summer
Last summer I spent my holidays at the seaside with my family. It was for the first time and I couldn’t even imagine such excellent holidays. We were there in August and were lucky to have sunny weather and warm sea all the time. It was so pleasant to have a rest doing nothing except taking sunbathes and swimming. There were different kinds of entertainment but best of all I liked water scooters and discos. I was also playing with my little sister on the sand and taught her to swim. Summer is the warmest and graceful season for sure. During the summertime Nature lives to the full extent. Trees are green and juicy fruits are ripening on their branches. Summer is coming and I’m looking forward to it. It’s my favourite season, of course, because the weather is great and you don’t have to go to school. Personally I suppose that summer is the best time for holiday and rest. This season is the warmest one. The nature is really beautiful and the people have various opportunities for their rest. They can travel and visit another cities and countries, continents and islands. They can go hiking and have a terrific time in the forest, in the mountains, on the lake, on the river or on the sea. The people can also go out with their friends and relatives and have fun in the open air.

Summer is a great time of the year. It consists of three months: warm June, hot July and hot August. Long sunny days are followed by short, warm nights. Most of the time there is wonderful, dry weather. The birds sing loudly in the blue sky. Trees are dressed in green clothes, and beetles buzz above them, and butterflies flitter. The enormous amount of beautiful colors blossoms out: blue, red, orange, yellow, violet. Contrast and beauty of colors are fascinating. In the mornings larks sing, and in the evenings until the dawn the singing of crickets does not grow silent.
In the summer there are rains, but they are warm and cheerful. The air is heating up, it becomes hot, and large drops wash off the dust from the roads and leaves on the trees. And after the thunderstorms there are huge puddles everywhere, the water drains from the roofs, the wet leaves on the trees sparkle in the sun like diamonds, the air is filled with freshness. Nature comes to life, and everyone rejoices in the long-awaited rain that has passed. And in the end, beautiful and colorful rainbow appears in the sky.
Summer is time of holidays and vacations. People go to the sea to recreate and sunbathe. Someone prefers to have a rest in the mountains, but someone likes to travel to interesting places and to do some sightseeing. It is cheerful and good for one’s health to spend vacation at the cottage or in the village. There are a lot of lovers of beds and works in the garden. The summer season gives us fresh fruits, berries and vegetables. A variety of choices, bright colors and amazing aromas can turn one’s head.
You can spend your time walking in the woods, arrange picnics near the river, go on long hikes, or to go fishing with friends. Unfortunately, the summer is over very quickly and unnoticed, and we begin to look forward to the next summer vacation.

As for me, I always liked summer because of the possibility to stay with family and friends, to read my favorite books, and just to think about something important.

Almost each year I spent my holidays in the country at my grandparents’. I adore that place for its landscape. Last summer
Last summer I spent my holidays at the seaside with my family. It was for the first time and I couldn’t even imagine such excellent holidays. We were there in August and were lucky to have sunny weather and warm sea all the time. It was so pleasant to have a rest doing nothing except taking sunbathes and swimming. There were different kinds of entertainment but best of all I liked water scooters and discos. I was also playing with my little sister on the sand and taught her to swim. Besides, I made some new friends and we had a lot of fun together. We went on several field trips. The one I will never forget was riding a jeep across numerous rivers in the mountains. Unfortunately the time passed very quickly and we had to return back home. However, there were still two more weeks left before school. I spent that time reading books, listening to music, watching TV, playing computer games and going out with my friends.

In conclusion I want to say that I’m usually happy to get back to school as I can meet my friends and teachers again but I always look forward to having summer holidays.
Summer is the warmest and graceful season for sure. During the summertime Nature lives to the full extent. Trees are green and juicy fruits are ripening on their branches. Flowers are blooming at flowerbeds, woods and meadows. Animals and birds are busy with feeding their offspring. They are living and neither hibernating.

And summer evenings are exceptionally good. Temperature decreases to comfortable level. Dust of big cities settles and sky gets covered with golden rays of the sunset. Everything becomes quiet and peaceful.

Summer is coming and I’m looking forward to it. It’s my favourite season, of course, because the weather is great and you don’t have to go to school. After a long and difficult school year you get really tired of studies, so I’m going to enjoy my summer holidays and have much fun. I hope they will be as exciting as my last summer holidays were. I already have a lot of plans for them.
I would like to spend the first summer month in the country, at my grandparents’. My friends and cousins will be waiting for me there. I miss them so much. We shall go fishing, sunbathing, swimming, horse-riding and playing football. And I’m going to help my grandparents about the garden. So I will be outdoors all the time.
I can’t wait for July because our family will travel to the seaside. We shall stay in a rented house for 2 weeks. I really enjoy the clean air and the beautiful scenery with beaches and mountains near the warm sea. I am going to swim and dive a lot. And I want to try the national cuisine, rich in fruit, vegetables and fish.
As for August, I would like to stay in the city and spend the time with my friends walking around, going to the cinema and cafes, playing computer games. My dream is to sleep as much as I like and to do what I like. I will ride my bike, go skateboarding or roller-skating in the park.
I hope that the summer of 2016 will be the best summer in my life and I will start my new school year happy, suntanned and refreshed!

Personally I suppose that summer is the best time for holiday and rest. This season is the warmest one. The nature is really beautiful and the people have various opportunities for their rest. They can travel and visit another cities and countries, continents and islands. They can go hiking and have a terrific time in the forest, in the mountains, on the lake, on the river or on the sea. The people can also go out with their friends and relatives and have fun in the open air.
Лично я считаю, что лето – самое лучшее время для отпусков и отдыха. Это время года самое теплое. Природа действительно прекрасна, и у людей есть различные возможности для отдыха. Они могут путешествовать и посещать другие города и страны, материки и острова. Они могут ходить в турпоходы и великолепно проводить время в лесу, в горах, на озере, на реке или на море. The nature is beautiful in summer. The grass and the leaves on the trees are fresh and green, there are many different flowers everywhere. The weather is mostly very nice. Of course, it can rain sometimes, but some people like rainy days. So do I. When it rains I like to read books and to listen to the patter of rain.

Our family has a country house in a village near our city. In summer my grandmother lives there and I usually enjoy my summer holidays there. I have many friends in the village and we do many things together. We swim in the river or in the lake, go fishing, ride a bicycle, play many different games, go mushrooming and so on. In the evening I usually read books or watch TV and video.

At the end of August I come back to the city. On the 1st of September begins the new school year. Next year I will put my school graduating exams. I am going to enter the university, that`s why I have also to put the entering exams. I will read up for examinations in our country house – far away from the scurry and the scramble of city life.
В конце августа я возвращаюсь в город. Первого сентября начинается новый учебный год. На будущий год я буду сдавать выпускные школьные экзамены. Summer is a great time of the year. It consists of three months: warm June, hot July and hot August. Long sunny days are followed by short, warm nights. Most of the time there is wonderful, dry weather. The birds sing loudly in the blue sky. Trees are dressed in green clothes, and beetles buzz above them, and butterflies flitter. The enormous amount of beautiful colors blossoms out: blue, red, orange, yellow, violet. Contrast and beauty of colors are fascinating. In the mornings larks sing, and in the evenings until the dawn the singing of crickets does not grow silent.
In the summer there are rains, but they are warm and cheerful. The air is heating up, it becomes hot, and large drops wash off the dust from the roads and leaves on the trees. And after the thunderstorms there are huge puddles everywhere, the water drains from the roofs, the wet leaves on the trees sparkle in the sun like diamonds, the air is filled with freshness. Nature comes to life, and everyone rejoices in the long-awaited rain that has passed. And in the end, beautiful and colorful rainbow appears in the sky.
Summer is time of holidays and vacations. People go to the sea to recreate and sunbathe. Someone prefers to have a rest in the mountains, but someone likes to travel to interesting places and to do some sightseeing. It is cheerful and good for one’s health to spend vacation at the cottage or in the village. There are a lot of lovers of beds and works in the garden. The summer season gives us fresh fruits, berries and vegetables. A variety of choices, bright colors and amazing aromas can turn one’s head.
You can spend your time walking in the woods, arrange picnics near the river, go on long hikes, or to go fishing with friends. Unfortunately, the summer is over very quickly and unnoticed, and we begin to look forward to the next summer vacation.

Лето – время отпусков и каникул. Люди едут на море отдохнуть и позагорать. Кто-то предпочитает отдых в горах, а кому-то нравится путешествовать по интересным местам. Можно проводить своё время гуляя в лесу, устраивать пикники около речки, отправляться в длинные походы, или с товарищами идти на рыбалку. К сожалению, лето заканчивается быстро и незаметно, и мы с нетерпение начинаем ждать следующих летних каникул.
