The term “nature” includes all around us: trees, lakes, mountains, seas, animals, flowers, etc. So, nature is something special not controlled by humans. How marvelous and rich nature is!
Human beings have been closely attaching to nature since time out of memory. In period of paganism people were frightened of such natural sources as storm, thunder, earthquake and downpour. That’s why they made some sacrifices to the mother-nature because ancient people believed it could gain nature’s favour and make their life easier and better.
In our century the attitude to it has been changed. People learned to read the sky, avoid dangerous results of “nature’s rage” and explain all the phenomena scientifically. Now people know how to deal with nature for personal use – they created hydro-electric power stations, solar batteries, lighting conductors, successful agriculture systems and other interesting things. We use natural resources permanently and it helps us survive, but they are not endless and we should not forget to take care about it.
Sometimes we forget about beauty and richness of nature around us because we are just used to thinking about ourselves and vested interests. You can notice many miracles if you pay attention to them: twitter of birds, sounds of rain and wind, great mountains, green hills and bright sunlight.
I guess that the nature can be compared with a piece of art or even a master who creates all these beautiful and fantastic things around us. Nature is responsible for our mood and can make us happy and inspired or sad and depressed. Probably, indescribable waterfalls, eye catching meadows with flowers, mysterious mountains attract people’s attention because human being is just a small part of nature and can’t exist separately from it.

Мы используем природные ресурсы постоянно, и это помогает нам выживать, однако они не бесконечны и нам не следует забывать заботиться об этом.
Иногда мы забываем о красоте и богатстве природы, так как думаем только о себе и личных интересах. Если вы присмотритесь, то заметите огромное количество чудес вокруг: щебетание птиц, звуки дождя и ветра, величественные горы, зеленые холмы и яркий солнечный свет.
Мне кажется, что природу можно сравнить с произведением искусства, или даже с творцом, создающим все эти красивые и фантастические вещи вокруг нас. Природа влияет на наше настроение и может нас сделать счастливыми и вдохновленными или заставить грустить и впасть в уныние. Возможно, эти неподдающиеся описанию водопады, завораживающие поляны с цветами, таинственные горы привлекают человека, так как он является лишь малой частью этой природы и не может находиться отдельно от нее.
People are the part of nature. As our civilization develops, people become stronger than nature.
But it`s not so simple. People learned to influence our environment. They create different household items, medicines, food… So, they pollute the atmosphere. There are even ozone holes. People are not careful. They burn forests, pollute rivers. But nature doesn`t forgive it: a lot of incurable diseases appeared. There are also typhoons, tsunamis, acid rains.
But I think nature won`t destroy all of us (though… dinosaurs disappeared). To my mind, people should think of the future because our planet is in our hands!

Рассматривая различные топики по английскому, отметим, что описание природы встречается нечасто. В той или иной форме описание природы на английском пригодится учащимся всех классов.
Но если в начальной школе от ребенка потребуют описать погоду в двух словах, то в старших классах – составить развернутое описание. Мы рассмотрим и тот, и тот вариант. Текст для самых маленьких
Описание природы в начальной школе сводится в рассказу о погоде и временах года и не требует глубоких знаний лексики. Например: «It is summer now. The weather is hot and sunny. The trees are green and the sky is blue. I like summer very much» – «Сейчас лето. Погода жаркая и солнечная. Деревья зеленые, а небо – голубое. Я очень люблю лето».
Как видно из этого мини-описания, здесь была использована лексика по теме «времена года», «погода», «цвета». Естественно, такой текст уже не подойдет учащемуся 5 класса и выше. Унылая пора, очей очарованье, или Как написать красивое описание природы?
Если Вам нужно красивое и «цепляющее» описание природы на английском, придется вооружиться словарем прилагательных и проявить фантазию. Можно попытаться описать абстрактное место в не менее абстрактных выражениях, но это не так легко, как может показаться. Намного удобнее использовать метод описания, а именно взять красивую картинку и описывать то, что изображено на ней. Например, практически к любой картинке с изображением осени может подойти такой текст: «What is nature? It’s a mystery, it’s a tale, it’s magic as it is. And I think autumn is one of the greatest examples of nature magic. If you look at these trees, covered with multicolor leaves – red, orange and still green here and there, you will surely agree with me. The leaves are still on the trees but in a few days the fall will begin and all the pavements will be covered with a reddish carpet made of leaves. They seem extremely bright because of the sky. In autumn it turns grey or sometimes deep blue. This background makes the leaves look bright and fresh. Looking at all the beauty we can forget about cold, wind and rain. В этом тексте в основном упор идет на описание природы и атрибутов осени с использованием большого количества прилагательных. Также в какой-то степени присутствует гиперболизация, то есть преувеличение. Самое главное в текстах подобного рода – возможность сделать минимум грамматических ошибок и использовать максимум лексики. Мы же использовали даже пословицу «There’s no bad weather, there are bad clothes» – «У природы нет плохой погоды». Именно поэтому это описание природы на английском может быть использовано учащимися средней и старшей школы.

Our amazing planet is mysterious and extraordinary. It is full of unique phenomena and mysteries. Every day nature pleases us with beautiful sunsets, autumn cobwebs, and a starry sky. Someone enjoys the morning dew, others breathe the frosty air while admiring the white canvas of hoarfrost. But often nature amazes and makes admire such phenomena that literally fascinate or, conversely, induce terrible fear.
You can observe various natural phenomena in different places on Earth. For example, aurora can be seen in the Northern Hemisphere. For the first time the northern lights saw the Scandinavian peoples, deciding that this is a manifestation of the wrath of the gods. In fact, the aurora has an electrical origin. Millions of charged particles collide in air molecules thereby forming a glow. Thanks to oxygen, light is reflected in yellow, green, red. Blue and purple are formed with nitrogen.
Rainbow is the most joyful and amazing phenomenon of nature. A rainbow can be observed immediately after a rain, in the form of reflection of sunlight in water droplets that remain in the air after a rain. The light is refracted and gives us seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, blue, purple. Rainbow is also double.
The inhabitants of the earth very often can observe an amazing cosmic phenomenon – star rain or stargazing. I think that Russia is one of the dirtiest countries in the world. In Russia almost every family has a car. And fumes of cars are very dangerous. Our factories, cars, trains and planes make the air dirty, so the atmosphere is polluted.
I believe that one day somebody will invent energy that hasn’t fumes. Or people will use renewable energy, for example solar energy, wind energy or hydro-electric dams. I know that these energies aren’t so powerful, but we can use it sometimes, for example for cookers.
I think that right now we need new energy, because oil and coal are disappearing. All countries will be in the economiccrisis, if we don’t find new energy!
I know that the world is getting hotter because of us! When the sun shines, everything gets hot and the dirt stops the hot air from going up to the sky. Because the hot air has nowhere to go, everything gets hotter.
Our world is warmer than it was one hundred years ago. Hot countries may become drier and the people who live there won’t be able to grow enough food. Ice in cold areas is changing to water because of higher temperatures. When this happens, the sea levels become bigger. Some towns near the sea may have a problem soon.
We can help if we stop making the air dirty but we must do something fast!
In addition, not many people understand that they are polluting environment. They are dropping litter on the streets. In my opinion drop litter or rubbish in the dustbin isn’t hard it’s easy.
I think that there must be group of people who will follow the people whodrop litter in the streets. Finally there must be more bins in the streets. And, of course, don’t cut down trees!!! Grow trees, they clean the air!
I’m sure all is in hands of people. I call up: Protect environment, save nature!
I always drop litter in bins and call up my friends to do the same. Maybe when I grow up somebody will have already invented clean and powerful energy.

Since their emerging on earth, human beings immediately began to actively explore the environment. They used natural resources to produce their own food and water, to build homes, to sew clothes and to create tools. Naturally, because of this interaction with nature, reserves of wood, fresh water and minerals started to deplete, and some animals and fish as food for people began to disappear from the face of the Earth. In addition, the active pollution of environment occurs as a result of industrial development. Global warming, ozone holes, melting of glaciers are just few negative effects of human impact on nature. Therefore, today people do a lot to save it. In 1948, an organization called the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources was created. Today such activities as land restoration, wood conservation, creation of reserves and national parks, fishing restriction, limitation of emission of harmful substances, etc. are held in all countries under the control of this organization. There are various environmental actions organized by the society for the protection of nature every day. These activities engage people, who are not indifferent to the fate of our planet. For example, not long ago, in May 2015 year, Moscow hosted the famous campaign “Pant a Grove of Hundred Words”. It was dedicated to the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. In honor of these people, various trees were planted in the natural-historical park «Serebryanyi bor». To take care of nature and to protect it is the duty of every human being. If each of us tries to do something small, for example, to plant trees, to clean streams of debris during out-of-town trips or to put stones on the river banks to prevent soil erosion, then maybe the people on Earth will live long in harmony with the world around them. A number of countries with developed infrastructures increase every year in the world. It becomes a big problem for our ecology. Is there an opportunity to develop the cities and the factories and don’t endanger nature? Let’s examine it.
I am convinced that preserving ecology must be one of the most important problems of XXI century. Countries should take some serious measures to implement this vital task. Primarily, they should perform some ecological programs on the polluted areas for saving and restoring them. Secondly, they should toughen the legislation and they have to produce goods which wouldn’t destroy the nature. First of all we must develop technologies for recycling cans, polyethylene, and similar things.
There is another side on this problem. It is considered people’s lifestyle of people. Their attitude to the nature has been changed with the economic growth. Unfortunately, people refer to natural resources dismissively and mine out them in unreasonably large amounts forgetting that depletion of mineral resources leads to their impoverishment. Besides, not all people living in luxury agree to abandon from comfort. Moreover, many of them violate the laws that are designed to help conserve nature.
Even if people couldn’t refuse neither the cars, nor the factories, it is essential to be more responsible of our ecology! Otherwise, we can lose our startling forests, lakes and wild animals in the long run.
To sum it up, indeed, modern society can develop without ruining nature. The status of ecology is forcing people to combine their efforts to protect it! Only together we shall be able to reduce pollution in the largest and fastest-growing urban areas.

С каждым годом в мире растет количество стран с развитой инфраструктурой. Это становится большой проблемой для окружающей среды. Есть ли возможность развивать города и промышленность, не причиняя вреда экологии? Давайте рассмотрим.
Я убеждена, что защита окружающей среды должна быть одной из главных задач XXI века. Страны должны принимать серьезные меры для осуществления этой жизненно важной задачи. Во-первых, проводить экологические программы на загрязненных территориях для их сохранения и восстановления. Во-вторых, ужесточить законодательство и производить товары, которые не разрушали бы природу. И прежде всего, мы должны совершенствовать технологии для переработки консервных банок, полиэтилена и т.д.
Существует другая сторона этой проблемы, связанная с образом жизни людей. Отношение людей к природе изменилось с развитием экономики. К сожалению, люди относятся к природным ресурсам пренебрежительно и добывают их в больших количествах, забывая, что истощение природными ресурсами приведет к обеднению. Кроме того, не все люди, живущие в роскоши, согласны отказаться от комфорта. Также большинство людей нарушают законы, которые направлены на сохранение природы.
Даже если люди не смогут отказаться от машин и заводов, надо быть более ответственными перед природой! Иначе мы можем потерять наши потрясающие леса, озера и диких животных в скором времени.
Таким образом, действительно, современное общество может развиваться, не причиняя вреда окружающей среде. Экологическое состояние заставляет объединять все усилия для защиты природы. Только вместе мы сможем уменьшить загрязнение в быстрорастущих странах и городах.

We always polluted our surroundings. But until now pollution was not such a huge problem. People lived in the countryside and couldn’t produce such amount of pollution that would lead to a dangerous situation on a global scale.
With the development of industrial cities, which create huge amounts of pollutants, the problem has become real. Nowadays our planet is in serious danger. Global warming, acid rains, air and water pollution, overpopulation are the problems that threaten human lives on the Earth.
Every year world industry pollutes the air that we breathe with. A great number of cities suffer from smog. Rainforests are cut down. Their disappearance upsets the oxygen balance. As a result, some rare species of animals, birds, fish and plants are extinct. A lot of seas, rivers and lakes are filled with poison like industrial and nuclear wastes, chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The pollution of air and the world’s ocean, destruction of the ozone layer is the result of man’s careless interaction with nature, a sign of the ecological crisis.
People should consider their attitude to the environment. Some progress has already been made in this direction. Numerous conferences have been held by a lot of agencies to discuss problems facing ecologically poor regions including the Aral Sea, the South Urals, Kuzbass, Donbass and Chernobyl. Greenpeace is also doing much to preserve the environment.
What can we do to save our planet? First of all, people should switch to alternative forms of power, such as solar power or wind power. Secondly, the use of atomic power must be banned. Thirdly, we need to recycle. It’s the art of turning waste into new products. It would be a good idea if people started riding bicycles instead of driving cars. We are obliged to protect nature. If everybody cares, it will make a difference.

Я думаю, что я большой фанат природы и большой любитель быть на открытом воздухе. И я вступила в нашу городскую группу окружающей среды, которая помогает быть нашему городу больше чище и красивее. There is an expression: “There is no bad weather. Every weather is graceful. Rain or snow – all the year round. We must accept gratefully …”
Each season has its own peculiarities.
In the spring the first shoots appear from the ground, as if taking the first steps. All nature returns to life. Brooks purl, drip of thawing snow, animals in the forest enjoy the sunshine, the first snowdrops peep through the snow. But not only the nature puts on bright colours, people also take off their warm coats. One feels like going along the street and smiling .
Summer takes us into a fantastic world. In summer the sun is bright, the sky is blue and bottomless.
In autumn, we can observe various beautiful landscapes. With the beginning of the early fall the crowns of trees become yellow. Indian summer comes. Trees are thoughtful, just remember the last days of summer, watching high mountains into the distance, as if trying to see the future.
Winter is peculiar in its own way. The trees stand in the snow, like apple trees in bloom. Pure white. The snow glitters in the sun, sparkling and glistening. Frost draws the patterns on the glass.
There were a lot of good things during the year.
Autumn leaves rustled sadly. Then winter bestowed its glitter. With icons and willows we greeted spring. We were warmed by the rest of the summer, giving us warmth and kindness.
Each season is beautiful and unique. Some one likes hot . another likes cold. Nature unites all and everyone can enjoy his weather once ayear.

Осенью мы можем наблюдать различные красивые пейзажи. С наступлением осеннего периода кроны деревьев желтеют — приближается пора золотой осени. Наступает бабье лето. Деревья стоят задумчивые, точно вспоминают прошлые летние дни. смотрят высокими вершинами вдаль, словно стараютсяувидеть будущее.
Зима тоже по-своему особенна. Деревья стоят в снегу, словно яблони в цвету. Белые-белые. А снег блестит на солнце, искрится и переливается. Мороз рисует нам узоры на стекле.
Сколько за год было хорошего.
Осень грустно шуршала листьями. Затем зима дарила блестки свои. С иконой и вербой встречали весну. Нас согревало оставшееся лето, даруя тепло и ласку свою.
Каждая пора по-своему прекрасна и неповторима. Кому-то нравиться жаркая пора, кому-то холод. Природа объединяет все это и каждый может раз в году насладиться своей погодой.

People have always polluted their surroundings. But until now pollution was not such a serious problem. People lived in uncrowded rural areas and did not have pollution — causing machines. With the development of crowded industrial cities which put huge amounts of pollutants into small areas, the problem has become more important.
Automobiles and other new inventions make pollution steadily worse. Since the late 1960’s people have become alarmed with the danger of pollution.
Air, water, and soil are necessary for existence of all living things. But polluted air can cause illness, and even death. Polluted water kills fish and other marine life. On polluted soil, food can not be grown. In addition environmental pollution spoils the natural beauty of our planet.
Pollution is as complicated as serious problem. Automobiles are polluting the air but they provide transportation for the people. Factories pollute the air and the water but they provide jobs for people and produce necessary goods. Fertilizers and pesticides are important for growing crops but they can ruin soil.
Thus, people would have to stop using many useful things if they wanted to end pollution immediately. Most people do not want that of course. But pollution can be reduced gradually.
Scientists and engineers can find the ways to reduce pollution from automobiles and factories. Government can pass the laws that would make enterprises take measures for reducing of pollution. Individuals and groups of people can work together to persuade enterprises to stop polluting activities.

The term “nature” includes all around us: trees, lakes, mountains, seas, animals, flowers, etc. So, nature is something special not controlled by humans. How marvelous and rich nature is!
Human beings have been closely attaching to nature since time out of memory. In period of paganism people were frightened of such natural sources as storm, thunder, earthquake and downpour. That’s why they made some sacrifices to the mother-nature because ancient people believed it could gain nature’s favour and make their life easier and better.
In our century the attitude to it has been changed. People learned to read the sky, avoid dangerous results of “nature’s rage” and explain all the phenomena scientifically. Now people know how to deal with nature for personal use – they created hydro-electric power stations, solar batteries, lighting conductors, successful agriculture systems and other interesting things. We use natural resources permanently and it helps us survive, but they are not endless and we should not forget to take care about it.
Sometimes we forget about beauty and richness of nature around us because we are just used to thinking about ourselves and vested interests. You can notice many miracles if you pay attention to them: twitter of birds, sounds of rain and wind, great mountains, green hills and bright sunlight.
I guess that the nature can be compared with a piece of art or even a master who creates all these beautiful and fantastic things around us. Nature is responsible for our mood and can make us happy and inspired or sad and depressed. Probably, indescribable waterfalls, eye catching meadows with flowers, mysterious mountains attract people’s attention because human being is just a small part of nature and can’t exist separately from it.

В наше время эта ситуация изменилась. Люди научились предсказывать погоду, избегать опасных последствий «природного гнева» и объяснять все явления с научной точки зрения. На сегодняшний день человек знает, как использовать природу в собственных целях – люди придумали гидроэлектростанции, солнечные батареи, громоотводы, успешные сельскохозяйственные системы и другие интересные вещи. Мы используем природные ресурсы постоянно, и это помогает нам выживать, однако они не бесконечны и нам не следует забывать заботиться об этом.
Иногда мы забываем о красоте и богатстве природы, так как думаем только о себе и личных интересах. Если вы присмотритесь, то заметите огромное количество чудес вокруг: щебетание птиц, звуки дождя и ветра, величественные горы, зеленые холмы и яркий солнечный свет.
Мне кажется, что природу можно сравнить с произведением искусства, или даже с творцом, создающим все эти красивые и фантастические вещи вокруг нас. Природа влияет на наше настроение и может нас сделать счастливыми и вдохновленными или заставить грустить и впасть в уныние. Возможно, эти неподдающиеся описанию водопады, завораживающие поляны с цветами, таинственные горы привлекают человека, так как он является лишь малой частью этой природы и не может находиться отдельно от нее.
People are the part of nature. As our civilization develops, people become stronger than nature.
But it`s not so simple. People learned to influence our environment. They create different household items, medicines, food… So, they pollute the atmosphere. There are even ozone holes. People are not careful. They burn forests, pollute rivers. But nature doesn`t forgive it: a lot of incurable diseases appeared. There are also typhoons, tsunamis, acid rains.
But I think nature won`t destroy all of us (though… dinosaurs disappeared). To my mind, people should think of the future because our planet is in our hands!

Рассматривая различные топики по английскому, отметим, что описание природы встречается нечасто. В той или иной форме описание природы на английском пригодится учащимся всех классов.
Но если в начальной школе от ребенка потребуют описать погоду в двух словах, то в старших классах – составить развернутое описание. Мы рассмотрим и тот, и тот вариант.
Текст для самых маленьких
Описание природы в начальной школе сводится в рассказу о погоде и временах года и не требует глубоких знаний лексики. Например:
«It is summer now. The weather is hot and sunny. The trees are green and the sky is blue. I like summer very much» – «Сейчас лето. Погода жаркая и солнечная. Деревья зеленые, а небо – голубое. Я очень люблю лето».
Как видно из этого мини-описания, здесь была использована лексика по теме «времена года», «погода», «цвета». Естественно, такой текст уже не подойдет учащемуся 5 класса и выше.
Унылая пора, очей очарованье, или Как написать красивое описание природы?
Если Вам нужно красивое и «цепляющее» описание природы на английском, придется вооружиться словарем прилагательных и проявить фантазию. Можно попытаться описать абстрактное место в не менее абстрактных выражениях, но это не так легко, как может показаться. Намного удобнее использовать метод описания, а именно взять красивую картинку и описывать то, что изображено на ней. Например, практически к любой картинке с изображением осени может подойти такой текст:
«What is nature? It’s a mystery, it’s a tale, it’s magic as it is. And I think autumn is one of the greatest examples of nature magic. If you look at these trees, covered with multicolor leaves – red, orange and still green here and there, you will surely agree with me. The leaves are still on the trees but in a few days the fall will begin and all the pavements will be covered with a reddish carpet made of leaves. They seem extremely bright because of the sky. In autumn it turns grey or sometimes deep blue. This background makes the leaves look bright and fresh. Looking at all the beauty we can forget about cold, wind and rain. They say, there’s no bad weather, there are bad clothes. So even rain in autumn is a good and magic thing if it is treated as a part of the nature» – «Что такое природа? Это загадка, тайна, это чудо во всех смыслах. И мне кажется, осенняя пора – один из самых ярких примеров волшебства природы. В этом тексте в основном упор идет на описание природы и атрибутов осени с использованием большого количества прилагательных. Также в какой-то степени присутствует гиперболизация, то есть преувеличение. Самое главное в текстах подобного рода – возможность сделать минимум грамматических ошибок и использовать максимум лексики. Мы же использовали даже пословицу «There’s no bad weather, there are bad clothes» – «У природы нет плохой погоды». Именно поэтому это описание природы на английском может быть использовано учащимися средней и старшей школы.
Do you know what is the most important in people’s life? This is of course nature. When we are small and when we grow up a bit we often pick up flowers, tree branches without thinking of the efforts applied to grow this or that tree or flower up.
How beautiful and rich our nature is!
In spring the first flowers – snow-drops – appear and buds grow on trees as if making first steps towards summer. Almost everyone here, where I live, have a garden or a kitchen-garden where colorful and aromatic flowers grow. When autumn comes the leaves on the trees grow yellow – it’s the time of golden autumn. There are many poems written about this time of the year. But the time of autumn is the Indian summer. And despite it is rather short it brings happiness to people, because it is a spell of the warmest and the nicest days with warm spells in winter when the sun shines when air is not too freezing.
There are special organizations in our country that try to preserve nature and protect it. It proves that there are not only people who can harm nature but also try to help it. In fact each of us must take care of the nature of the place where we live and never allow anyone and oneself to mock at it. The sacred duty of all people living on Earth is to take care of the beauty and unique shape of their mother land.
Man is closely attached to nature since the ancient times. In pagan times man worshipped it making sacrifices to it, because nature has been the main and the only provider of all living creatures. In our century – the time of progress – people’s attitude to nature has changed. People believe they are above nature they don’t respect it, never think what they’ll do if there’d be no nature – there’d be no people. For everything is connected in the world. Our nature, our environment is not only beautiful and rich, it is also defenseless and needs our protection from those who, without realizing it, try to adapt nature to their interests, destroying its unity. If we look back at people’s relations with nature we shall notice how merciless and thoughtless people sometimes try to take everything away from nature, without thinking that the resources of nature are not limitless. The time may come when there’ll be nothing to take. It’s not man who rules nature but nature that rules man. But nature is not so merciless as man, it gives chance to man to change and to repent.
It is widely known that one can watch fire and water without stop. And you, have you ever watched the flower to open its petals early in the morning? You’ve got to simply wake up early in the morning and you’ll see this magical moment. If you really love nature you’ll be struck by its beauty and you won’t want this to stop.
Have you ever observed hills and mountains? Their majesty and pride strike, their light attracts and the peaks lure you, as if promising boundless happiness. The clear waters of river make us to believe in mermaids and nixes. And a field of cornflowers and camomiles? Imagine a huge basket of camomiles or a field of camomiles white up to the horizon. You’d want to run along it and feel the aroma of the field, the warm wave of summer wind.
A thunderstorm. Such a thunderstorm that windowpanes are squeaking and it sends shiveres down your spine. The raindrops are heavy and it seems that rain would never stop. And when it stops you’ll feel the relief of the heaven. Then the sun appears, bright and shining, which beckons you to play, which promises you to warm you and caress you with its rays. It promises never again to hide itself behind the clouds.
A mighty oak calls you to relax in its shade, under its big and powerful branches, where it is so cool and cosy that you feel at home and you’ll never forget this bounty.
If you look around you would see that there are only a few places untouched and wonderful natural places left. They have preserved their natural and innocent form and they’d never been broken. Red Book shows us an uneasy picture: the diversity of the animal and the plant world goes down day by day. So many species of plants and animals disappeared and their loss is irreplaceable for mankind. With the loss of one link in the chain of life on the Earth the whole chain may fail. The negative impact of humankind on nature has increased so much that there’s literally no clear air to breath.
So, our first and foremost duty is to safeguard our nature. As a Little Prince said: «When you wake up, wash you face put yourself in order – do the same with your planet».
А знаете ли вы что самое необходимое и главное в жизни человека? Это, конечно же, природа. Когда мы еще маленькие, и уже повзрослев, срываем цветы, ломаем веточки деревьев, не подумав о том, что стоит человеку вырастить то деревце. Как же прекрасна и богата наша природа!
Только лишь весной появляются первые подснежники и почки на деревьях, словно делают первые шажки. У каждого из нас есть огород и сад в нем цветут разноцветные душистые цветы. Когда приходит осень, листья деревьев желтеют — приближается пора золотой осени. Много стихов об этом прекрасном времени года. Особенно приятен осенью период бабьего лета.
И хотя оно длится короткий срок, но приносит людям радость, потому что это самые теп-лые и замечательные деньки осени. И зимой дни часто выдаются с оттепелью, появляется солнышко, терпимый морозец, и на всех деревьях, елках и кустах искрящийся иней, все деревья разные, но красивые, а на солнышке блестят одинаково — белым, серебристым цветом. В эти периоды природа несравнима ни чем и неповторима.
В нашей стране есть специальные организации по охране природы, по борьбе с загрязне-нием окружающей среды. Это доказывает, что существуют не только люди, которые вредят природе, а наоборот стараются ей помочь. Каждый из нас обязан заботиться о природе нашей Родины и никогда не позволять себе издеваться над ней.
Всегда беречь красоту и неповторимость родного края — общая забота всех населяющих его людей, их обязанность и священный долг любого человека.
С древних времен человек тесно связан с природой. Раньше человек поклонялся, порою даже принося жертвы ей, ведь природа была самой главной кормилицей всех существ на Земле. В наш век, время прогресса, отношение к ней необычайным образом поменялось. Люди считают себя выше природы, и не уважают ее, не задумываются о том, что, если не станет природы не будет и нас, ведь все в мире взаимосвязано. Окружающий нас мир не только прекрасен и богат, нои беззащитен и нуждается в охране от тех кто, не понимая этого, пытается приспособить природу под свои интересы, нарушая её целостность. Если оглянуться назад, чтобы увидеть отношения человека к природе, то мы заметим, как безжалостно и часто необдуманно человек пытается “отобрать” у природы всё, что возможно, не подумав о том,что эта кладовая не бесконечна, не наступит ли когда-нибудь тот час, когда взять уже будет нечего? Не человек творит природу, а природа властвует над человеком. Но природа не так беспощадна, она дает шанс человеку исправиться, она ждет раскаяния.
Мы постоянно слышим, что на огонь и воду можно смотреть бесконечно. А наблюдали ли вы за тем, как цветок распускается ранним утром? Нужно просто проснуться ранним утром и застать это прекрасное мгновение. Если вы действительно любите природу то вашему удивлению не будет конца, и вам не захочется чтобы эта красота когда-нибудь закончилась.
А величина холмов и гор? Их величавость и мужественность удивляет, высота при-тягивает. А вершины манят к себе, как будто обещая безграничное счастье. Прозрачные воды реки заставляют верить в русалок и водяных. А поле красивых васильков и ромашек? Представим большую корзину ромашек или до их поля, распростёртые до самого горизонта. Хочется бежать и ощутить аромат всего поля, чувствуя, как ветер обхватывает своим теплом.

Man destroys all living things in the world: Urbanization and industrialization are dangerous to all living things in the world. Chemical hazardous substances deadly to all living things in the world. World production of oil, gas, coal, salt and so on are dangerous for the environment. There are serious problems of environmental pollution in all countries of the world, this occurs when cities, factories, transportation, sanitation, landfill and so on, pollute the air, water and land. Between us and other animals plants, there is no difference — we are all children of the Earth and we are all one family. Our amazing planet is mysterious and extraordinary. It is full of unique phenomena and mysteries. Every day nature pleases us with beautiful sunsets, autumn cobwebs, and a starry sky. Someone enjoys the morning dew, others breathe the frosty air while admiring the white canvas of hoarfrost. But often nature amazes and makes admire such phenomena that literally fascinate or, conversely, induce terrible fear.
You can observe various natural phenomena in different places on Earth. For example, aurora can be seen in the Northern Hemisphere. For the first time the northern lights saw the Scandinavian peoples, deciding that this is a manifestation of the wrath of the gods. In fact, the aurora has an electrical origin. Millions of charged particles collide in air molecules thereby forming a glow. Thanks to oxygen, light is reflected in yellow, green, red. Blue and purple are formed with nitrogen.
Rainbow is the most joyful and amazing phenomenon of nature. A rainbow can be observed immediately after a rain, in the form of reflection of sunlight in water droplets that remain in the air after a rain. The light is refracted and gives us seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, blue, purple. Rainbow is also double.
The inhabitants of the earth very often can observe an amazing cosmic phenomenon – star rain or stargazing. If you look at the sky, we will see a lot of luminous points that fly from top to bottom towards our planet. During the flight, these points, like her small stars, leave behind a trail of luminous stripes. They do not reach the earth, and burn in the atmosphere in the form of a bright flash. Радуга самое радостное и удивительное явление природы. Радугу можно наблюдать сразу после дождя, в виде отражения солнечного света в капельках воды, которые сохраняются в воздухе после дождя. Свет преломляется и дарит нам семь цветов: красный, оранжевый, жёлтый, зелёный, голубой, синий, фиолетовый. Радуга также бывает двойной.
Жители земли очень часто могут наблюдать удивительное космическое явление – звёздный дождь или звездопад. Если смотреть на небо, мы будем видеть множество светящихся точек, которые летят сверху вниз по направлению к нашей планете. Во время полета эти точки, похожие на маленькие звезды, оставляют за собой след светящихся полос. Они не долетают до земли, и сгорают в атмосфере в виде яркой вспышки. На самом деле, как объясняют учёные, падающие тела не являются звёздами, это метеоры. Метеорный дождь образуется ежегодно во время столкновения Земли с космическим потоком метеорных частиц.
I think that Russia is one of the dirtiest countries in the world. In Russia almost every family has a car. And fumes of cars are very dangerous. Our factories, cars, trains and planes make the air dirty, so the atmosphere is polluted.
I believe that one day somebody will invent energy that hasn’t fumes. Or people will use renewable energy, for example solar energy, wind energy or hydro-electric dams. I know that these energies aren’t so powerful, but we can use it sometimes, for example for cookers.
I think that right now we need new energy, because oil and coal are disappearing. All countries will be in the economiccrisis, if we don’t find new energy!
I know that the world is getting hotter because of us! When the sun shines, everything gets hot and the dirt stops the hot air from going up to the sky. Because the hot air has nowhere to go, everything gets hotter.
Our world is warmer than it was one hundred years ago. Hot countries may become drier and the people who live there won’t be able to grow enough food. Ice in cold areas is changing to water because of higher temperatures. When this happens, the sea levels become bigger. Some towns near the sea may have a problem soon.
We can help if we stop making the air dirty but we must do something fast!
In addition, not many people understand that they are polluting environment. They are dropping litter on the streets. In my opinion drop litter or rubbish in the dustbin isn’t hard it’s easy.
I think that there must be group of people who will follow the people whodrop litter in the streets. Finally there must be more bins in the streets. And, of course, don’t cut down trees!!! Grow trees, they clean the air!
I’m sure all is in hands of people. I call up: Protect environment, save nature!
I always drop litter in bins and call up my friends to do the same. Maybe when I grow up somebody will have already invented clean and powerful energy.

Since their emerging on earth, human beings immediately began to actively explore the environment. They used natural resources to produce their own food and water, to build homes, to sew clothes and to create tools. Naturally, because of this interaction with nature, reserves of wood, fresh water and minerals started to deplete, and some animals and fish as food for people began to disappear from the face of the Earth. In addition, the active pollution of environment occurs as a result of industrial development. Global warming, ozone holes, melting of glaciers are just few negative effects of human impact on nature. Therefore, today people do a lot to save it. In 1948, an organization called the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources was created. Today such activities as land restoration, wood conservation, creation of reserves and national parks, fishing restriction, limitation of emission of harmful substances, etc. are held in all countries under the control of this organization. There are various environmental actions organized by the society for the protection of nature every day. These activities engage people, who are not indifferent to the fate of our planet. For example, not long ago, in May 2015 year, Moscow hosted the famous campaign “Pant a Grove of Hundred Words”. It was dedicated to the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. In honor of these people, various trees were planted in the natural-historical park «Serebryanyi bor». To take care of nature and to protect it is the duty of every human being. If each of us tries to do something small, for example, to plant trees, to clean streams of debris during out-of-town trips or to put stones on the river banks to prevent soil erosion, then maybe the people on Earth will live long in harmony with the world around them.

Глобальное потепление, озоновые дыры, таянье ледников — это лишь те немногие негативные последствия влияния человека на природу. Поэтому сегодня людьми многое делают для того, чтобы сохранить ее. В 1948 году была создана организация под названием Всемирный Союз Охраны Природы. Сегодня во всех странах под контролем этой организации проводятся такие мероприятия, как восстановление земель, сохранение лесов, создания заповедников и национальных парков, ограничение ловли рыбы, ограничение выброса вредных веществ и т. д. Ежедневно в мире проходят различные экологические акции, организуемые обществом по охране природы. В этих мероприятиях участвуют люди, которым не безразлична судьба нашей планеты. Например, совсем недавно, в мае 2015 года, в Москве прошла знаменитая акция «Посади Рощу Ста Слов». Она была посвящена памяти героев Великой Отечественной войны. В честь этих людей в природно-историческом парке «Серебряный бор» были посажены различные деревья. Заботиться о природе и беречь ее — это долг каждого человека. Если каждый из нас будет стараться делать что-то малое, например, сажать деревья, очищать ручьи от мусора во время загородных походов или раскладывать по берегам рек камни, чтобы предотвратить эрозию почвы, то, возможно, люди на земле еще долго будут жить в гармонии с окружающим их миром.
A number of countries with developed infrastructures increase every year in the world. It becomes a big problem for our ecology. Is there an opportunity to develop the cities and the factories and don’t endanger nature? Let’s examine it.
I am convinced that preserving ecology must be one of the most important problems of XXI century. Countries should take some serious measures to implement this vital task. Primarily, they should perform some ecological programs on the polluted areas for saving and restoring them. Secondly, they should toughen the legislation and they have to produce goods which wouldn’t destroy the nature. First of all we must develop technologies for recycling cans, polyethylene, and similar things.
There is another side on this problem. It is considered people’s lifestyle of people. Their attitude to the nature has been changed with the economic growth. Unfortunately, people refer to natural resources dismissively and mine out them in unreasonably large amounts forgetting that depletion of mineral resources leads to their impoverishment. Besides, not all people living in luxury agree to abandon from comfort. Moreover, many of them violate the laws that are designed to help conserve nature.
Even if people couldn’t refuse neither the cars, nor the factories, it is essential to be more responsible of our ecology! Otherwise, we can lose our startling forests, lakes and wild animals in the long run.
To sum it up, indeed, modern society can develop without ruining nature. The status of ecology is forcing people to combine their efforts to protect it! Only together we shall be able to reduce pollution in the largest and fastest-growing urban areas.

С каждым годом в мире растет количество стран с развитой инфраструктурой. Это становится большой проблемой для окружающей среды. Есть ли возможность развивать города и промышленность, не причиняя вреда экологии? Давайте рассмотрим.
Я убеждена, что защита окружающей среды должна быть одной из главных задач XXI века. Страны должны принимать серьезные меры для осуществления этой жизненно важной задачи. Во-первых, проводить экологические программы на загрязненных территориях для их сохранения и восстановления. Во-вторых, ужесточить законодательство и производить товары, которые не разрушали бы природу. И прежде всего, мы должны совершенствовать технологии для переработки консервных банок, полиэтилена и т.д.
Существует другая сторона этой проблемы, связанная с образом жизни людей. Отношение людей к природе изменилось с развитием экономики. К сожалению, люди относятся к природным ресурсам пренебрежительно и добывают их в больших количествах, забывая, что истощение природными ресурсами приведет к обеднению. Кроме того, не все люди, живущие в роскоши, согласны отказаться от комфорта. Также большинство людей нарушают законы, которые направлены на сохранение природы.
Даже если люди не смогут отказаться от машин и заводов, надо быть более ответственными перед природой! Иначе мы можем потерять наши потрясающие леса, озера и диких животных в скором времени.
Таким образом, действительно, современное общество может развиваться, не причиняя вреда окружающей среде. Экологическое состояние заставляет объединять все усилия для защиты природы. Только вместе мы сможем уменьшить загрязнение в быстрорастущих странах и городах.
Our planet Earth is only a tiny part of the universe, and it is so far the only place where human beings can live.
We always polluted our surroundings. But until now pollution was not such a huge problem. People lived in the countryside and couldn’t produce such amount of pollution that would lead to a dangerous situation on a global scale.
With the development of industrial cities, which create huge amounts of pollutants, the problem has become real. Nowadays our planet is in serious danger. Global warming, acid rains, air and water pollution, overpopulation are the problems that threaten human lives on the Earth.
Every year world industry pollutes the air that we breathe with. A great number of cities suffer from smog. Rainforests are cut down. Their disappearance upsets the oxygen balance. As a result, some rare species of animals, birds, fish and plants are extinct. A lot of seas, rivers and lakes are filled with poison like industrial and nuclear wastes, chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The pollution of air and the world’s ocean, destruction of the ozone layer is the result of man’s careless interaction with nature, a sign of the ecological crisis.
People should consider their attitude to the environment. Some progress has already been made in this direction. Numerous conferences have been held by a lot of agencies to discuss problems facing ecologically poor regions including the Aral Sea, the South Urals, Kuzbass, Donbass and Chernobyl. Greenpeace is also doing much to preserve the environment.
What can we do to save our planet? First of all, people should switch to alternative forms of power, such as solar power or wind power. Secondly, the use of atomic power must be banned. Thirdly, we need to recycle. It’s the art of turning waste into new products. It would be a good idea if people started riding bicycles instead of driving cars. We are obliged to protect nature. If everybody cares, it will make a difference.

Я думаю, что я большой фанат природы и большой любитель быть на открытом воздухе. И я вступила в нашу городскую группу окружающей среды, которая помогает быть нашему городу больше чище и красивее. Each season has its own peculiarities.
In the spring the first shoots appear from the ground, as if taking the first steps. All nature returns to life. Brooks purl, drip of thawing snow, animals in the forest enjoy the sunshine, the first snowdrops peep through the snow. But not only the nature puts on bright colours, people also take off their warm coats. One feels like going along the street and smiling .
Summer takes us into a fantastic world. In summer the sun is bright, the sky is blue and bottomless.
In autumn, we can observe various beautiful landscapes. With the beginning of the early fall the crowns of trees become yellow. Indian summer comes. Trees are thoughtful, just remember the last days of summer, watching high mountains into the distance, as if trying to see the future.
Winter is peculiar in its own way. The trees stand in the snow, like apple trees in bloom. Pure white. The snow glitters in the sun, sparkling and glistening. Frost draws the patterns on the glass.
There were a lot of good things during the year.
Autumn leaves rustled sadly. Then winter bestowed its glitter. With icons and willows we greeted spring. We were warmed by the rest of the summer, giving us warmth and kindness.
Each season is beautiful and unique. Some one likes hot . another likes cold. Nature unites all and everyone can enjoy his weather once ayear.

Осенью мы можем наблюдать различные красивые пейзажи. С наступлением осеннего периода кроны деревьев желтеют — приближается пора золотой осени. Наступает бабье лето. Деревья стоят задумчивые, точно вспоминают прошлые летние дни. смотрят высокими вершинами вдаль, словно стараютсяувидеть будущее.
Зима тоже по-своему особенна. Деревья стоят в снегу, словно яблони в цвету. Белые-белые. А снег блестит на солнце, искрится и переливается. Мороз рисует нам узоры на стекле.
Сколько за год было хорошего.
Осень грустно шуршала листьями. Затем зима дарила блестки свои. С иконой и вербой встречали весну. Нас согревало оставшееся лето, даруя тепло и ласку свою.
Каждая пора по-своему прекрасна и неповторима. Кому-то нравиться жаркая пора, кому-то холод. Природа объединяет все это и каждый может раз в году насладиться своей погодой.

People have always polluted their surroundings. But until now pollution was not such a serious problem. People lived in uncrowded rural areas and did not have pollution — causing machines. With the development of crowded industrial cities which put huge amounts of pollutants into small areas, the problem has become more important.
Automobiles and other new inventions make pollution steadily worse. Since the late 1960’s people have become alarmed with the danger of pollution.
Air, water, and soil are necessary for existence of all living things. But polluted air can cause illness, and even death. Polluted water kills fish and other marine life. On polluted soil, food can not be grown. In addition environmental pollution spoils the natural beauty of our planet.
Pollution is as complicated as serious problem. Automobiles are polluting the air but they provide transportation for the people. Factories pollute the air and the water but they provide jobs for people and produce necessary goods. Fertilizers and pesticides are important for growing crops but they can ruin soil.
Thus, people would have to stop using many useful things if they wanted to end pollution immediately. Most people do not want that of course. But pollution can be reduced gradually.
Scientists and engineers can find the ways to reduce pollution from automobiles and factories. Government can pass the laws that would make enterprises take measures for reducing of pollution. Individuals and groups of people can work together to persuade enterprises to stop polluting activities.

Таким образом, людям пришлось бы прекратить пользоваться многими полезными вещами, если бы они захотели прекратить загрязнение окружающей среды сразу. Большинство людей, конечно, этого не хочет. Однако загрязнение может быть сокращено постепенно.
