If you are a fan of hiking, you will go on foot.
Lots of people get tired of living in the stone jungle, so they prefer having a holiday in an exotic country. They want to lie on the beach, drink cocktails in the sun, bathe in the sea and just relax. Another type of travellers are people who want to visit as many countries or cities as they can. So they explore different countries on different continents.
Travellers are very interesting people. They always have stories to tell and pictures to show. I have friends who travel a lot and I also watch TV programmes about travelling. Thanks to them I know a lot of interesting facts. I also know which countries I would like to visit, where it is good to stay, what to see and eat.

It’s a well-known fact that travelling plays a significant role in a modern life. Today in the 21 century it’s rather easy to travel to any point of our planet. If 50 years ago people even didn’t dream about spending a weekend in Paris or London, now it’s not a dream, it’s a reality. There are so many opportunities to travel. And I can say that it’s not very expensive to fly even by plane. You can choose ryanair airlines, for examples. They have cheap tickets.
As for me I like travelling. It doesn’t matter where to go. For me it’s a pleasure to travel anywhere. In the world there are so many marvellous places to visit. I think it’s boring just to live in one country and not travelling abroad. I had a unique chance to see some countries. When I was a child I travelled to the Ukraine and for the first time in my life I saw a fascinating sea. Then I saw many other countries and cities. I was in Luthuania, Poland, France etc. Each country has it’s own traditions and interesting places to see. Our country also has many sightseeing. There are a lot of tourists visiting our native country.
In conclusion, I want to say that travelling is my hobby. Some people like to collect something (postcards, stamps, coins etc), and I like to collect memories from different countries.

School trips include a wide range of outdoor educational and
residential courses, designed to stimulate, educate and motivate pupils.
To my mind, school trips help teachers inspire pupils and bring subject
areas to life. School trips broaden children’s mind, improve their
knowledge of history and geography and make their lives interesting and
eventful. Whether pupils want an educational school trip within their
country or abroad their aim is the same: to enjoy sightseeing, to
discover new things, to meet interesting people and to get wonderful
impressions and learning experiences which educate, excite and inspire.
However, some parents don’t think that school trips are essential.
They believe that pupils can learn everything staying in the classroom.
Other parents don’t like the fact that they have to pay for most school
trips. Moreover, Moms and Dads are often afraid of possible dangers and
difficulties which may arise during any school trip. Nevertheless,
statistics show that school trips are usually safe for children. But
reasonable safety measures are still required.
To sum up, a school trip is a challenging, rewarding and always
exciting experience. Pupils will have fun while learning new skills and

in a city is on foot. However a lot of others prefer driving a car or
using public transport. Today everybody understands that time is money. We can’t afford to
spend much time on the road, so we use cars and public transport to
travel faster.
On the one hand, we shouldn’t forget that we can use our legs. In my
opinion, when people travel on foot, they can see much more on their way
and enjoy the sights of a town or a city. We can stop wherever we want
and admire a beautiful church or monument or drop at a cafe or a shop.
We won’t be stuck in a traffic jam for several hours and we will
certainly avoid road accidents. What is more, travelling on foot is much
healthier that travelling by car or by bus. Walking is a perfect
physical exercise that strengthens the immune system, improves mental

effort. A lot of people prefer driving cars as they have speed and
comfort combined. When you travel by car, you don’t depend on the

latest news on the radio. Public transport is not as popular as cars.
Nevertheless, thousands of people use it every day of their lives.

Some people prefer to travel by plane. I can say it is, of course, comfortable and convenient method of travelling. And it is much quicker than any other method, but, I think, it’s more dangerous. Moreover nowadays there are a lot of accidents and plane wrecks.
For a change you can travel by ship. During such voyage you can enjoy the sea or the ocean. It’s very exciting to watch the rise and fall of waves, to feel the fresh wind and hear the cry of the seagulls. But everything will be pleasant on board if you are not sea-sick.
Tours by car are also very popular. The main advantage of this method is that you are quite independent. You don’t have to watch a timetable or buy any tickets. You can stop at any place you like and see sights at a short time. And you can drive in any direction.
I think that if you go abroad you should know foreign languages, because they can help you to communicate with people in a foreign country, and you will feel more comfortable.

Going abroad nowadays is a usual thing for many families. Some people, however, stay unsatisfied with the time they have spent in a foreign country. What are the advantaged and disadvantages of travelling abroad or is it worth staying at home?
One of the main advantages is the experiance you get from being in a foreign country. While being abroad you have the opportunity to pracrise the language and sosialise with citizens of the country you visit. This is especially beneficial if your occupation is connected with a foreign language.
Furthermore, you get aquainted with a new place and that makes you relaxand forget about your routine life.
On the other hand, pretravelling process might be very depressing because of all the documents you should collect in order to enter the choosen country.
What is more, you can get into trouble if you are not aqcuainted with the laws of the country you want to visit. What you are used to doing at home is not always normal for foreigners. Or you can also stay unsatisfied if the country you have chosen does not fit your expectations.
To sum up, it seems that international tourism is a good way of having a rest, but do not be upset if there are some problems with getting a visa. However, it must be remembered that if you think positively your holidays are going to be terrific!

There is no blank space on the map of the world. Modern people have an opportunity to travel a lot by planes, by train, by car or even on foot. There are many hotels of different types: you can choose luxury hotels or cheap ones. You can travel where you want and how you want.

Why do people travel? Very often it is connected with the job or study. Businessmen, politicians, actors and singers travel a lot. Besides, students can take part in different study trips. For example, businessmen often have business trips and singers perform on tour. Maybe, it is not quite what we call “to travel” because often such people have no time to visit places of interest or to do something else what a real travel consists of.

Today travelling is a very popular hobby. People travel to other countries or cities to see the world with their own eyes. Travelling allows you to meet new people and to learn how they live. We also get exciting experience when we discover historical places, visit museums or take pictures with the monuments. Nature also varies from country to country. So we can live in another climate for several days and have a rest after hard work.
There are different ways of travelling — by bus, by plane, by train, by ship or on foot. It is better to go to another country by plane because it is safe and fast. However, if you have time, you can choose the train and enjoy the beautiful view from your window. Travelling by ship is also exciting if you don`t get seasick. If you are a fan of hiking, you will go on foot.
Lots of people get tired of living in the stone jungle, so they prefer having a holiday in an exotic country. They want to lie on the beach, drink cocktails in the sun, bathe in the sea and just relax. Another type of travellers are people who want to visit as many countries or cities as they can. So they explore different countries on different continents.
Travellers are very interesting people. They always have stories to tell and pictures to show. I have friends who travel a lot and I also watch TV programmes about travelling. Thanks to them I know a lot of interesting facts. I also know which countries I would like to visit, where it is good to stay, what to see and eat.
My dream is to go to London because I study English. So I want to practice it with native speakers. I also want to see the Big Ben myself. I also want to visit some Asian country, for example, China.

If 50 years ago people even didn’t dream about spending a weekend in Paris or London, now it’s not a dream, it’s a reality. There are so many opportunities to travel. And I can say that it’s not very expensive to fly even by plane. You can choose ryanair airlines, for examples. They have cheap tickets.
As for me I like travelling. It doesn’t matter where to go. For me it’s a pleasure to travel anywhere. In the world there are so many marvellous places to visit. I think it’s boring just to live in one country and not travelling abroad. I had a unique chance to see some countries. When I was a child I travelled to the Ukraine and for the first time in my life I saw a fascinating sea. Then I saw many other countries and cities. I was in Luthuania, Poland, France etc. Each country has it’s own traditions and interesting places to see. Our country also has many sightseeing. There are a lot of tourists visiting our native country.
In conclusion, I want to say that travelling is my hobby. Some people like to collect something (postcards, stamps, coins etc), and I like to collect memories from different countries.

Our world lives in the situation of globalization. National and cultural borders are more transparent than before. People travel all over the world with different aims: to have a rest and see other countries (tourism), work (international business), and study (educational exchange). Sometimes one’s relatives and friends live abroad, so trips there become regular.

Of course, everyone needs a convenient and available way to travel for long distances. Some people prefer traditional trains, but not all the railways pass through state borders. Besides, traveling by train usually takes much time. As for traveling by sea, it also can be impossible (for example, between countries of the Central Europe) or cause poor health.

There is another point of view: some people suppose that traveling by plane is very dangerous. However, modern planes technically improved and equipped with all the protective means. Only highly qualified pilots and stewards can serve them. In my opinion, traveling by plane is safe and enjoyable.

It is not surprising because we are living in a world of growing international trade and expanding economic and technical cooperation. Though it is fascinating for tourist travelling, it has become the most tiring of all occupations for many businessmen and experts. Therefore, choosing a comfortable hotel to stay at is a matter of big importance. There are plenty of good hotels, motels and guest houses in the world, which are conviently located in major business centers.
Many developing countries, such as India, Egypt, Nigeria, Lybia, etc have excellent hotels. Their numerous facilities include both large and small cocktail bars, barber’s shops and conference halls equipped with simultaneous, multilingual translation systems. There are parking areas which can accomodate a lot of cars. It might be useful for travelling businessmen and tourists to know that tailor shops, shoe repair shops, laundry and dry cleaning services are available for guests. People in the office help guests to book train or steamer tickets and rent a car. They are also ready to give all necessary information. Nowadays people who go on business mostly travel by air as it is the fastest means of travelling. Passengers are requested to arrive at the airport 2 hours before the departure time on international flights and an hour on domestic flights, as there must be enough time to complete the necessary airport formalities.Passengers must register their tickets, weigh and register the luggage.
Most airlines have at least 2 classes of travel: first class and economy class which is cheaper. Each passenger of more than 2 years of age has a free luggage allowance. Generally this limit is 20kg for economic class passenger and 30kg for first class passenger. Excess luggage must be paid for except for some articles that can be carried free of charge. Each passenger is given a boarding card to show at departure gate and again to the stewardess when boarding the plane. There are different methods of travelling. You can travel by plane, by ship, by train or by car. Some people travel on foot. You can go along little lanes where the fast car can’t go. You can wander through meadows, pass quite lakes and wonderful woods. Also you can see wild animals and flowers in the forest. You can feel the beauty of nature. But I think, it’s not a very comfortable way of traveling, because you can get tired very quickly.
I’m very fond of travelling and I prefer to travel by train. I think it’s very pleasant. Especially if you have a comfortable seat in a railway carriage you can have a splendid view of the countryside. If the journey is long, you can sleep and have a good rest. Moreover, I consider, big railway stations are quite excited places. There are crowds of people, the porters pull the luggage along the platforms, and hungry passengers hurry to the refreshment rooms.
Some people prefer to travel by plane. I can say it is, of course, comfortable and convenient method of travelling. And it is much quicker than any other method, but, I think, it’s more dangerous. Moreover nowadays there are a lot of accidents and plane wrecks.
For a change you can travel by ship. During such voyage you can enjoy the sea or the ocean. It’s very exciting to watch the rise and fall of waves, to feel the fresh wind and hear the cry of the seagulls. But everything will be pleasant on board if you are not sea-sick.
Tours by car are also very popular. The main advantage of this method is that you are quite independent. You don’t have to watch a timetable or buy any tickets. You can stop at any place you like and see sights at a short time. And you can drive in any direction.
I think that if you go abroad you should know foreign languages, because they can help you to communicate with people in a foreign country, and you will feel more comfortable.

Going abroad nowadays is a usual thing for many families. Some people, however, stay unsatisfied with the time they have spent in a foreign country. What are the advantaged and disadvantages of travelling abroad or is it worth staying at home?
One of the main advantages is the experiance you get from being in a foreign country. While being abroad you have the opportunity to pracrise the language and sosialise with citizens of the country you visit. This is especially beneficial if your occupation is connected with a foreign language.
Furthermore, you get aquainted with a new place and that makes you relaxand forget about your routine life.
On the other hand, pretravelling process might be very depressing because of all the documents you should collect in order to enter the choosen country.
What is more, you can get into trouble if you are not aqcuainted with the laws of the country you want to visit. What you are used to doing at home is not always normal for foreigners. Or you can also stay unsatisfied if the country you have chosen does not fit your expectations.
To sum up, it seems that international tourism is a good way of having a rest, but do not be upset if there are some problems with getting a visa. However, it must be remembered that if you think positively your holidays are going to be terrific!

There is no blank space on the map of the world. Modern people have an opportunity to travel a lot by planes, by train, by car or even on foot. There are many hotels of different types: you can choose luxury hotels or cheap ones. You can travel where you want and how you want.
На карте мира нет «белых пятен». Современные люди имеют возможность много путешествовать на самолетах, на поезде, на машине или даже пешком. Есть много отелей разных типов: вы можете выбрать роскошные отели или дешевые гостиницы. Вы можете путешествовать, где хотите и как хотите.
Why do people travel? Very often it is connected with the job or study. Businessmen, politicians, actors and singers travel a lot. Besides, students can take part in different study trips. For example, businessmen often have business trips and singers perform on tour. Maybe, it is not quite what we call “to travel” because often such people have no time to visit places of interest or to do something else what a real travel consists of.
