I am lucky to have parents who are interested in travelling. Each year we go somewhere new and exciting. I’m only 14, but I’ve already been in several neighboring countries and even in Thailand, which is 9 hours away by plane. One of the places I really want to visit is Spain. I’ve seen many colorful prospects with Spanish sights and resorts, which look hyper attractive to me. It’s not very far from our country, but still it is a five-hour flight from Moscow. My parents don’t mind. They say that one day we’ll go there. As there are many resorts and culturally rich cities in Spain, we need to choose where we want to go. After all we decided that Barcelona is the best city for us. First of all, it’s a well-known beach resort. At the same time, it’s the second largest city in the country, which means there are lots of primary sights there. One of the objects that I’d like to see is the Magic Fountain of Montjuic. As far as I know this attraction offers an outstanding light and music show. My younger brother wants to visit the Barcelona Aquarium which houses more than 10 thousand sea animals. There is even a separate tank for sharks and other large fish. My mum’s dream is to see the collection of Picasso’s early works at the most famous museum of Barcelona. My father’s wish is to visit the Camp Nou. It’s the largest football stadium in Spain. And finally, we all want to walk across the famous La Rambla – the most popular street in the city, which is always full of tourists and locals

Luckily, my parents also like travelling, so each year during long summer vacations we pick one city or country to visit. If it was my turn to choose, I would pick Egypt, as I want to see one of the oldest constructions in the world – the pyramids and the sphinx. If I was an archaeologist, I would definitely try to find out more on how and when exactly they were built. I know that the largest pyramid, the Pyramid of Khufu at Giza, is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which still exists. Speaking of the Great Sphinx, it is the oldest known monumental sculpture and the largest monolith statue in the world. Some say they were built by ancient Egyptians, while other researchers think that this tremendous amount of brute labor is beyond human power. Many people dream of traveling to different countries. Great Britain is one of the best places where people can go to.
I would like to visit Great Britain. There are many wonderful sights there. First of all, I would like to go to the park of entertainments in London.
They say you can see the most distant corners of London from the London eye. Secondly, I would like to go to the Loch Ness Lake where the Loch Ness monster lives. Thirdly, I would like to visit Buckingham palace and to talk to Elizabeth the II, the queen of England.
But on the other hand, I heard that not everything is so good in Great Britain. On the Internet I read that in London there is criminality. Streets on suburbs of London are dirty and ugly. But the worst thing in Great Britain is weather. It is raining cats and dogs.
I heard many different things about Great Britain. I don’t know if they are true. I believe that to know more about this country you should visit it.
Многие люди мечтают о путешествиях в разные страны. Великобритания одна из лучших стран, в которую можно поехать.
Я бы хотел съездить в Великобританию. Там многое можно посмотреть. Во-первых, я б сходил в парк развлечений в Лондоне. Говорят, что с колеса обозрения можно увидеть самые дальние уголки Лондона. Во-вторых, я бы хотел съездить на озеро Лох-Несс, где обитает Лохнесское чудовище. В-третьих, я бы хотел посетить Букингемский дворец и поговорить с королевой Елизаветой II.
Люди говорят, что жизнь в Великобритании не такая радужная, как пишут в книгах. В интернете я читал, что в Лондоне большая преступность. Улицы на окраине Лондона грязные и некрасивые. Да и погода в Великобритании ужасная. Там почти всегда идёт дождь.
Я много слышал о Великобритании разных вещей. Я не знаю, правдивы ли они. Чтобы узнать о Великобритании больше, я и хотел бы поехать туда.
