There are a lot of theatres, showrooms and concert halls in Moscow. I visited Bolshoi Theatre with my parents. The performance was very exciting and I was full of unforgettable impressions.
Many people think that Moscow is noisy city but there are a lot of quiet parks and public gardens in it. I love my city very much because it is fine and majestic. I’m proud of my city and I’m glad that I live here.

I was born in a small town where my granny lived. But a few years later my parents decided to move to another place because they got jobs there. So, now I live in a wonderful town of Kamenets-Podolskyi, which is located in Khmelnitsky region and is very famous among Ukrainians. The population of the town is approximately 120,000 inhabitants.
The town is divided into several parts but the main division may be as follows: the new town and the old town. All the historical monuments, memorials and museums are concentrated in the old town where you can meet tourists from all over the world. Different concerts and international festivals are held here. However, the main tourist attraction is the large fortress, which, according to the historical records, was founded in the 11th century as a defensive fort by Cossacks. This fortress has become a great tourist attraction of my town.
The new part of the town is quite modern and busy. The streets are full of people; the roads are full of cars as in any other town or city. It is the place where you can easily find lots of cafes, restaurants and hotels.
In general, the town is highly industrially developed. There are a lot of plants and factories. At the same time it is a student town due to many educational establishments and schools. In addition, if you like to do outdoor activities or relax in the nature, there are a lot of parks and gardens, which, by the way, make the town look green and fresh. I am sure that people of ages can find what to do in Kamenets-Podilskyi because there is a lot of entertainment there, which varies from disco clubs and cinemas to art galleries and libraries.
This is the town of contrasts where the past is tightly connected with the present. I am really glad that I am its citizen. My hometown is Veidelevka. The Veidelevka district boarders the Rovenki district in the south-east and Veidelevka is situated in the South-East of Belgorod region. The coat of arms of Veidelevka is three wild peonies (called vorontsy). Wild peonies are rare flowers that you can find in the Red Book rareness. My hometown district is 81 year old. The settlement Veidelevka was named in honor of Vedel who inherited the land in 1742. A church was opened on the 13th of February 1748. It was the beginning of the settlement.
Things to see you there are Pokrovsky Cathedral, a new hospital, the Sunflowers Institute, the Monument to an Unknown Soldier, a local museum, a new Palace of Culture, the Alley of Glory, the Central Park. The new Pokrovsky Cathedral was built in Veidelevka in 2002. The Sunflowers Institute was opened in 1998. It was an institute of scientific research.
There are a lot of things to do, for example to visit a local museum, to walk in the park and to enjoy shopping. People like playing or watching sports in the stadium.
In my town there are a lot of famous people. Such as Sophia Vladimirovna Panina. Her great grandfather was the general Vedel.
I like my hometown. It is a great settlement. It is always clean. There is no traffic jam. It has beautiful weather. I`m proud that I`m from Veidelevka.
Dagestan – my homeland A person without a motherland is like a nightingale without a song. I am grateful to God for being born in Dagestan. It`s my motherland! I remember my childhood full of adventures spent in green valleys with my grandfather. He used to say: “Homeland is more worth than gold”. Some people think Dagestan is a dangerous place for living and visiting. I strongly believe that visiting Dagestan means entering humanities purest traditional roots. My remarkable mountain kingdom is one of the jewels on the Russian crown. Moreover, Dagestan strikes with its cultural diversity neighbouring with unique monuments of antiquity which add some irresistible and unforgettable charm. Furthermore, anything a person can imagine is here within its territory. It`s a place that offers impressive natural wonders, ancient historical buildings, great history, best cuisine, multiethnic diversity and hospitable people. In addition to this, Dagestan in famous for its ctaftmen: goldsmiths from Kubachi, jewelers from Gozatl, porters from Balkhar, woodworkers from Untsukul, carpetmakers from Tabasaran. As Rasul Gamzatov said: “But Dagestan is the dearest for the soul”. Dagestan is my fate, my heart treasure. I really want to be useful for my republic, my native town Derbent. Last year we celebrated two thousand years anniversary of Derbent welcoming guests from all over the world. Derbent- the pearl of Russia is a peaceful and ancient city with great architectural sights like fortress Naryn Kala, the Juma Mosque and the Armenian Temple. Naryn Kala is Unesco`s heritage. In conclusion, I want to say that each has only one native land and only one mother. I am proud of my homeland.
I live in Poltava. Poltava is quite an old town. It was founded in the middle of the 12th century. During the Great Patriotic War Poltava became the scene of cruel fighting. Since the war the town has risen from ruins and is now finer than ever. My town is not very large. There are about three hundred thousand people who live here. There are many squares, large parks, wide streets with beautiful buildings, cinemas, theatres and shops. Every year hundreds of tourists come to Poltava. They want to visit the famous historical and other places of interest of the town. We are proud of our museums: the Historical and Fine Аrts museums. The main street of our town is not very long but it has a lot of modern and old buildings, shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Our town is a town of youth. Hundreds of young people study at many institutes, schools and colleges. We also have sports grounds, swimming-pools, gymnasiums and other good places where young people may spend their free time.

I was born in a small town where my granny lived. But a few years later my parents decided to move to another place because they got jobs there. So, now I live in a wonderful town of Kamenets-Podolskyi, which is located in Khmelnitsky region and is very famous among Ukrainians. The population of the town is approximately 120,000 inhabitants.
The town is divided into several parts but the main division may be as follows: the new town and the old town. All the historical monuments, memorials and museums are concentrated in the old town where you can meet tourists from all over the world. Different concerts and international festivals are held here. However, the main tourist attraction is the large fortress, which, according to the historical records, was founded in the 11th century as a defensive fort by Cossacks. This fortress has become a great tourist attraction of my town.
The new part of the town is quite modern and busy. The streets are full of people; the roads are full of cars as in any other town or city. It is the place where you can easily find lots of cafes, restaurants and hotels.
In general, the town is highly industrially developed. There are a lot of plants and factories. At the same time it is a student town due to many educational establishments and schools. In addition, if you like to do outdoor activities or relax in the nature, there are a lot of parks and gardens, which, by the way, make the town look green and fresh. I am sure that people of ages can find what to do in Kamenets-Podilskyi because there is a lot of entertainment there, which varies from disco clubs and cinemas to art galleries and libraries.
This is the town of contrasts where the past is tightly connected with the present. I am really glad that I am its citizen.

My hometown is Veidelevka. The Veidelevka district boarders the Rovenki district in the south-east and Veidelevka is situated in the South-East of Belgorod region. The coat of arms of Veidelevka is three wild peonies (called vorontsy). Wild peonies are rare flowers that you can find in the Red Book rareness. My hometown district is 81 year old. The settlement Veidelevka was named in honor of Vedel who inherited the land in 1742. A church was opened on the 13th of February 1748. It was the beginning of the settlement.
Things to see you there are Pokrovsky Cathedral, a new hospital, the Sunflowers Institute, the Monument to an Unknown Soldier, a local museum, a new Palace of Culture, the Alley of Glory, the Central Park. The new Pokrovsky Cathedral was built in Veidelevka in 2002. The Sunflowers Institute was opened in 1998. It was an institute of scientific research.
There are a lot of things to do, for example to visit a local museum, to walk in the park and to enjoy shopping. People like playing or watching sports in the stadium.
In my town there are a lot of famous people. Such as Sophia Vladimirovna Panina. Her great grandfather was the general Vedel.
I like my hometown. It is a great settlement. It is always clean. There is no traffic jam. It has beautiful weather. I`m proud that I`m from Veidelevka.
Dagestan – my homeland
A person without a motherland is like a nightingale without a song. I am grateful to God for being born in Dagestan. It`s my motherland! I remember my childhood full of adventures spent in green valleys with my grandfather. He used to say: “Homeland is more worth than gold”.
Some people think Dagestan is a dangerous place for living and visiting. I strongly believe that visiting Dagestan means entering humanities purest traditional roots. My remarkable mountain kingdom is one of the jewels on the Russian crown. Moreover, Dagestan strikes with its cultural diversity neighbouring with unique monuments of antiquity which add some irresistible and unforgettable charm. Furthermore, anything a person can imagine is here within its territory. It`s a place that offers impressive natural wonders, ancient historical buildings, great history, best cuisine, multiethnic diversity and hospitable people. In addition to this, Dagestan in famous for its ctaftmen: goldsmiths from Kubachi, jewelers from Gozatl, porters from Balkhar, woodworkers from Untsukul, carpetmakers from Tabasaran. As Rasul Gamzatov said: “But Dagestan is the dearest for the soul”. Dagestan is my fate, my heart treasure. I really want to be useful for my republic, my native town Derbent. Last year we celebrated two thousand years anniversary of Derbent welcoming guests from all over the world. Derbent- the pearl of Russia is a peaceful and ancient city with great architectural sights like fortress Naryn Kala, the Juma Mosque and the Armenian Temple. Naryn Kala is Unesco`s heritage.
In conclusion, I want to say that each has only one native land and only one mother. I am proud of my homeland.
I live in Poltava. Poltava is quite an old town. It was founded in the middle of the 12th century. During the Great Patriotic War Poltava became the scene of cruel fighting. Since the war the town has risen from ruins and is now finer than ever. My town is not very large. There are about three hundred thousand people who live here. There are many squares, large parks, wide streets with beautiful buildings, cinemas, theatres and shops. Every year hundreds of tourists come to Poltava. They want to visit the famous historical and other places of interest of the town. We are proud of our museums: the Historical and Fine Аrts museums. The main street of our town is not very long but it has a lot of modern and old buildings, shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Our town is a town of youth. Hundreds of young people study at many institutes, schools and colleges. We also have sports grounds, swimming-pools, gymnasiums and other good places where young people may spend their free time.
