Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle located in the city of Windsor – one of the main attractions of England. The history of the castle dates back to the 11th century, when William the Conqueror decided to build a small wooden structure that would serve as a place for his residence. Since then, the castle is the main residence of the royal dynasty and is considered a symbol of the monarchy for about a thousand years. This is the oldest residential building in the world. To date, about half a thousand people live in it and are in the service. For all the centuries of its existence the castle has repeatedly changed its appearance. Each king, as far as possible, made his own amendments and innovations in the architecture of the building, trying to turn the palace into the greatest structure of Europe. The current Queen of England, Elizabeth, spends most of the time within the walls of the castle. Her private apartments are in the Upper Court. Everybody knows the English proverb “An Englishman’s home is his castle”. I am going to tell you some words about my home and my family. We are a happy family: my dad, my mum, my brother and me. We like our own home and nobody may enter it without our permission because our home is our castle. We do not want anybody to disturb or bother us. We adore a quiet family life.
Each of us has some kind of favourite occupation. My dad is interested in politics. He has already made a successful career. It was not difficult for him because he is able to handle people and I think that at present the most important quality is the ability to deal with other people. At home my dad usually reads the latest news in the evening. My mum is fond of cooking tasty food. She prefers a happy family life to promotion in her job. My brother is a student at university. He has to work hard now to make a successful career in the future. I hope he will achieve good results.
As for me, I am trying to do my best at school. I am a pupil in the 7th form. I have been studying English for two years and a half. I want to improve my pronunciation and enrich my vocabulary. I am sure that good knowledge of English will help me to make a successful career in the future. I am ambitious and I am dreaming to be like my father.
“My home is my castle”, we say very often. And everyone knows that this castle is very hospitable and friendly. We like to invite our friends to our birthday and family parties. Everybody knows the English proverb “An Englishman`s home is his castle”. Not only Englishmen think so, that’s why this phrase has an analogy in other languages. But what does it mean? What makes you feel that your home is a castle? What is the exact meaning of “My home is my castle”?
Many people think that home is not only some bricks, mortar and walls. Probably, this is true, although there is a big difference between such words as “home” and “house”. House is just a place to live, this is a building, but home is a sacred place where you could be a king/queen, where your word is a rule. This is your domain, where you could do everything you want and you also have the possibility and responsibility to defend it and protect anyone and anything there. This is a place, where your heart is.
We think about “home” in terms of where we lived, when we were younger, where are relatives, family. This is the place that brings back all old memories, dreams and beliefs.
A home could tell us what culture people belong to, because one usually keeps to one’s native traditions, although it could be subconsciously. We decorate our home, invite friends, and stay there, when we don’t want to see anybody.
Your home is the place where you could hide from bad weather, bad news, problems and unpleasant situations. You can put off all your emotions and masks that you wear in the morning when you stepped out of the door. It is the place you can go to after a very hard workday and could relax, you don’t have to worry about being so hurt, criticized or laughed at.
People say that even the home walls are your friends, your comfort and your helping hands or as it is said at home even the walls help. It makes it look like a castle or even a fortress, where walls could save a life. Perhaps, that’s why we call home our castle.

With its architecturally defined profile, this is one of London’s most popular historical buildings. Buckingham Palace was built in 1703 for the Duke of Buckingham. In its entirety, the Palace and the beautiful gardens which surround it occupy an area of approximately 40 acres. Altogether this is one of the most interesting places in London for the tourist.
The ceremony of the Changing of the Guard that takes place daily at eleven o’clock in the morning. Every day a large crowd of people gather to see this famous and traditional ceremony. It is an event that, in spite of its regularity, appears to be a solemn classical ritual, of purely British flavour.
Buckingham Palace is not only the royal residence: it’s a small city under one roof. It has a cinema, a post-office, some caffees and a restaurant, a hospital and even a night club. More than 700 people work here every day.

We have a nice flat in a new block of flats. Our flat is on the fourth floor. It has all modern conveniences: central heating, gas, electricity, cold and hot water, a lift and a chute to carry rubbish down There are three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a hall in our flat.
The living-room is the largest and most comfortable room in the flat. In the middle of the room we have a square-table with six chairs round it. To the right of the dinner-table there is a wall-unit which has several sections: a sideboard, a wardrobe and some shelves. At the opposite wall there is a piano and stool before it. Between the two large windows there is a little table with a colour TV set on it. Near the TV set there are two cosy armchairs. A small round table, a divan-bed and a standard lamp are in the left-hand corner. This small table is for newspapers and magazines. My father is used to having a rest sitting on this divan-bed reading books, newspapers, magazines or watching TV.
The bedroom is smaller than the living-room and not so light as there is only one window in it. In this room there are two beds. An alarm-clock and a small lamp with a pink lamp-shade are on the table. In the left-hand corner there is a dressing-table with a big mirror.. In this room we have a built-in wardrobe with coat-hangers to-hang clothes on. There is a thick carpet on the floor and plain light-brown curtains on the window. The third room is my study. It is not large but very cosy. There isn’t much furniture in it, only the most necessary. It has a writing-table and an armchair before it. In the right-hand corner there is a bookcase full of books, magazines and newspapers. A small table with a radio is standing in the left-hand corner. Near it there is a sofa with some cushions. In my opinion, the study is the best room in our flat.
But the warmest place in our flat is the kitchen, I think — the place where the whole family gathers every evening not only to have supper together, but also to speak and rest. I like the English proverb: “My home is my castle” because my flat is, indeed, my castle.
Imagine waking up one day in a country that you`ve never been to and know no one there. It is an incredible experience, and something that people will remember forever.
Before visiting the country we have some stereotypes about the life there, which are broken after the trip. And England isn`t an exception. People think that the British are hard-hearted and unsociable. But they aren`t. The Russians are always welcome in England. If you ever visit it, there will always be a little part of your heart.
I am very interested in British culture, history and people. So, my visit provided me with a good opportunity to compare what I already know about England with the real life. I am grateful to fate, to my parents and teachers, that in July in 2009, I went to England. This was preceded by years of hard English lessons, a successful passing of international exams of different levels, exhausting trip to Moscow for processing the documents. But at last a group of like-minded people and I are in England …
It was amazing and immediately struck me. The first days were introductory, and then I could navigate in Guildford, in the city, where we lived. But let me start from the very beginning.
When we arrived, we went to our families. I was inexpressibly glad to meet these people. It was my first experience of communicating with the British. I expected them to be rather cold, full of traditions, but it turned out that they are very kind-hearted and hospitable. Within 2 weeks I lived with the owners of the house (Cranstone; husband and wife) and 2 girls – from Spain (Anna) andTurkey (Oykyu). The first day I was very tired and, unfortunately, was not capable to do something. But the very next day we went on a trip to London.
Arriving there, I was absorbed with the emotions! It was amazing: we were riding on the biggest Ferris wheel, and then went to the Madame Tussads` Museum that I wanted to visit. There I had the opportunity to be photographed with wax figures of celebrities and to go to the room of fear … it was terrifying, my heart took in heels! It was very scary, but I endured, and then just laughed at the idea of the room. The museum had many interesting things to see.
The next day I went to school for the first time. I had the opportunity to see the conditions in which teenagers learn English. Children at my school were from lots of different cultures, but that didn`t stop us being friends.
At first I could not remember the way to school, but I my neighbor, living for 2 weeks in Guildford, helped me. It turned out that I lived near the center of our town.
On Wednesday, we had another tour – to Oxford. I had a lot of emotions from it. It was just incredibly exciting to look at the famous University of Oxford, which I much heard about! Upon arrival in England it was hard to get used to the language and how to communicate it. I took a very visible difference between the Russian, speaking English and the British. But after the first few trips I used to and learnt a lot. And of course it was great to visit the famous hall, where the action of world famous movie about Harry Potter has taken place. It was just incredibly exciting to feel like the heroine of this film. My dream was realized!
Except trips to other cities I was walking with my friends along the streets of the city every day after classes. They were totally different from our Russian ones. For example, the main street, often called, High Street, was lined with stone, everywhere one could see windows of various shops. It is worth noting that the local bakery was very good, clothes were much cheaper than in Russia, but the food, by contrast, was very expensive.
On Saturday, we had an excursion to London again. We gladly walked through Trafalgar Square, looked at Buckingham Palace, the queen was in the castle at that time, as it was raised the state flag on the Palace, saw Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, visited the historical London museum.
Before being in London, I thought that it`s the tourist centre, full of foreigners. But I was wrong, because it looked like Moscow. Like most capital cities, it was noisy, polluted and congested with traffic.
On Wednesday we had the last excursion in Portsmouth. As for me it was probably the most exciting. We visited the old museum ships, including the oldest and one of the most famous, the ship Victoria, on which Admiral Nelson has sailed. In Portsmouth, I visited the museum, consisting of a single ship, hauled from the ocean floor. It was under water for a long time, so now he is behind a glass, and it a jet of water sent it as the ship won`t disintegrate into small particles.
Friday was the last day in England. I would stay in England at least another slightly. But, unfortunately, we left on Saturday. So I tried to bypass all of the most beautiful parts of Guilford, which I knew. At home, I interacted with my neighbors; we exchanged e-mails to write to each other, arriving at home. That was the last day in this country for me and Oykyu, so we packed our suitcases, and then decided to have a farewell dinner. We went to the store and buy various delicacies, and then sat down in front of TV and chatted. It was very funny! I wish I could repeat it again!
Saturday – the day when we went home. On the one hand, it was sad, but, on the other hand, it was glad for me to realize that soon I will come home!
When I came back I had my own impressions, my own personal experience and new image of England, I would like to share with my friends. I broke my stereotypes about people, cities and life in them. In conclusion, I would like to say that I have received a lot of emotions and increased the skill of communicating in English. The trip helped me a lot: I found new friends who are still talking with. I hope that next year, I will visit England, this wonderful country again!

Этому предшествовали годы изучения английского языка, успешной сдачи международных экзаменов различного уровня, изнурительной поездки в Москву для оформления документов. Но в конце концов я с группой единомышленников в Англии. Эта страна просто удивительна, она очень поразила меня. Первые дни я училась ориентироваться в Гилфорде, городе, где мы жили. Но все-таки позвольте мне начать с самого начала.
После приезда в Гилфорд мы отправились знакомиться с семьями, в которых нам предстояло жить. Я была безумно рада встретиться с этими людьми. Это был мой первый опыт общения с англичанами. Я думала, что они довольно холодные, зацикленные на традициях люди, но оказывается, они очень добрые и гостеприимные. В среду, у нас была еще одна поездка – в Оксфорд. Я получила от нее уйму эмоций. Было просто невероятно интересно посмотреть на знаменитый Оксфордский университет, о котором я много слышала! Нашей группе попался прекрасный гид, объяснявший все детали. По прибытии в Англию было трудно привыкнуть к языку и общению на нем. Я заметила огромную разницу между русскими, говорящими по-английски и англичанами. Но после первых же экскурсий я привыкла и смогла многое узнать. И, конечно же, было потрясающе посетить знаменитый зал, в котором снимался фильм о Гарри Поттере. Это было просто невероятно – почувствовать себя героиней фильма. Моя мечта осуществилась!
Кроме поездок в другие города я много гуляла по Гилфорду с друзьями каждый день после занятий. Улицы очень отличаются от наших русских. Например, главная, часто называемая High Street, улица выложена камнем, всюду можно видеть витрины различных магазинов. Стоит отметить, что местные выпечка очень хорошая, а одежда гораздо дешевле, чем в России, но еда, наоборот, очень дорогая.
В субботу мы побывали на экскурсии в Лондон еще раз. Мы с удовольствием ходили по Трафальгарской площади, посмотрели на Букингемский дворец. Мы поняли, что королева была в замке в то время, так как был поднят государственный флаг над дворцом. Видели Биг Бен, Вестминстерское аббатство, посетили исторический музей Лондона.
До того, как я побывала в Лондоне, я думала, что это туристический центр, полный иностранцев. Но я была не совсем права, потому что Лондон во многом похож на Москву. Как и большинство столиц, это очень шумный, довольно грязный и забитый машинами город.

Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle located in the city of Windsor – one of the main attractions of England. The history of the castle dates back to the 11th century, when William the Conqueror decided to build a small wooden structure that would serve as a place for his residence. Since then, the castle is the main residence of the royal dynasty and is considered a symbol of the monarchy for about a thousand years. This is the oldest residential building in the world. To date, about half a thousand people live in it and are in the service. For all the centuries of its existence the castle has repeatedly changed its appearance. Each king, as far as possible, made his own amendments and innovations in the architecture of the building, trying to turn the palace into the greatest structure of Europe. New towers, bridges, gates were erected, the living quarters expanded, walls were strengthened. The castle looks both as a palace and as a city.
The current Queen of England, Elizabeth, spends most of the time within the walls of the castle. Her private apartments are in the Upper Court. She regularly meets here political guests, as well as various ceremonial and traditional ceremonies are held in the castle. My home is my castle
Everybody knows the English proverb “An Englishman’s home is his castle”. I am going to tell you some words about my home and my family. We are a happy family: my dad, my mum, my brother and me. We like our own home and nobody may enter it without our permission because our home is our castle. We do not want anybody to disturb or bother us. We adore a quiet family life.
Each of us has some kind of favourite occupation. My dad is interested in politics. He has already made a successful career. It was not difficult for him because he is able to handle people and I think that at present the most important quality is the ability to deal with other people. At home my dad usually reads the latest news in the evening. My mum is fond of cooking tasty food. She prefers a happy family life to promotion in her job. My brother is a student at university. He has to work hard now to make a successful career in the future. I hope he will achieve good results.
As for me, I am trying to do my best at school. I am a pupil in the 7th form. I have been studying English for two years and a half. I want to improve my pronunciation and enrich my vocabulary. I am sure that good knowledge of English will help me to make a successful career in the future. I am ambitious and I am dreaming to be like my father.
“My home is my castle”, we say very often. And everyone knows that this castle is very hospitable and friendly. We like to invite our friends to our birthday and family parties. We sometimes visit our relatives and friends. But we can not imagine even a three-day staying anywhere without our warm home world. I completely agree with the saying “East or West, home is best.”

Everybody knows the English proverb “An Englishman`s home is his castle”. Not only Englishmen think so, that’s why this phrase has an analogy in other languages. But what does it mean? What makes you feel that your home is a castle? What is the exact meaning of “My home is my castle”?
Many people think that home is not only some bricks, mortar and walls. Probably, this is true, although there is a big difference between such words as “home” and “house”. House is just a place to live, this is a building, but home is a sacred place where you could be a king/queen, where your word is a rule. This is your domain, where you could do everything you want and you also have the possibility and responsibility to defend it and protect anyone and anything there. This is a place, where your heart is.
We think about “home” in terms of where we lived, when we were younger, where are relatives, family. This is the place that brings back all old memories, dreams and beliefs.
A home could tell us what culture people belong to, because one usually keeps to one’s native traditions, although it could be subconsciously. We decorate our home, invite friends, and stay there, when we don’t want to see anybody.
Your home is the place where you could hide from bad weather, bad news, problems and unpleasant situations. You can put off all your emotions and masks that you wear in the morning when you stepped out of the door. It is the place you can go to after a very hard workday and could relax, you don’t have to worry about being so hurt, criticized or laughed at.
People say that even the home walls are your friends, your comfort and your helping hands or as it is said at home even the walls help. It makes it look like a castle or even a fortress, where walls could save a life. Perhaps, that’s why we call home our castle.

With its architecturally defined profile, this is one of London’s most popular historical buildings. Buckingham Palace was built in 1703 for the Duke of Buckingham. The Queen’s Gallery, also in Buckingham Palace Road; has especial exhibitions from the Royal collection and may be visited every day except Monday. In its entirety, the Palace and the beautiful gardens which surround it occupy an area of approximately 40 acres. Altogether this is one of the most interesting places in London for the tourist.
The ceremony of the Changing of the Guard that takes place daily at eleven o’clock in the morning. Every day a large crowd of people gather to see this famous and traditional ceremony. It is an event that, in spite of its regularity, appears to be a solemn classical ritual, of purely British flavour.
Buckingham Palace is not only the royal residence: it’s a small city under one roof. It has a cinema, a post-office, some caffees and a restaurant, a hospital and even a night club. More than 700 people work here every day.

We have a nice flat in a new block of flats. Our flat is on the fourth floor. It has all modern conveniences: central heating, gas, electricity, cold and hot water, a lift and a chute to carry rubbish down There are three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a hall in our flat.
The living-room is the largest and most comfortable room in the flat. In the middle of the room we have a square-table with six chairs round it. To the right of the dinner-table there is a wall-unit which has several sections: a sideboard, a wardrobe and some shelves. At the opposite wall there is a piano and stool before it. Between the two large windows there is a little table with a colour TV set on it. Near the TV set there are two cosy armchairs. A small round table, a divan-bed and a standard lamp are in the left-hand corner. This small table is for newspapers and magazines. My father is used to having a rest sitting on this divan-bed reading books, newspapers, magazines or watching TV.
The bedroom is smaller than the living-room and not so light as there is only one window in it. In this room there are two beds. An alarm-clock and a small lamp with a pink lamp-shade are on the table. In the left-hand corner there is a dressing-table with a big mirror.. In this room we have a built-in wardrobe with coat-hangers to-hang clothes on. There is a thick carpet on the floor and plain light-brown curtains on the window. The third room is my study. It is not large but very cosy. There isn’t much furniture in it, only the most necessary. It has a writing-table and an armchair before it. In the right-hand corner there is a bookcase full of books, magazines and newspapers. A small table with a radio is standing in the left-hand corner. Near it there is a sofa with some cushions. In my opinion, the study is the best room in our flat.
But the warmest place in our flat is the kitchen, I think — the place where the whole family gathers every evening not only to have supper together, but also to speak and rest. I like the English proverb: “My home is my castle” because my flat is, indeed, my castle.
Imagine waking up one day in a country that you`ve never been to and know no one there. It is an incredible experience, and something that people will remember forever.
Before visiting the country we have some stereotypes about the life there, which are broken after the trip. And England isn`t an exception. People think that the British are hard-hearted and unsociable. But they aren`t. The Russians are always welcome in England. If you ever visit it, there will always be a little part of your heart.
I am very interested in British culture, history and people. So, my visit provided me with a good opportunity to compare what I already know about England with the real life. I am grateful to fate, to my parents and teachers, that in July in 2009, I went to England. This was preceded by years of hard English lessons, a successful passing of international exams of different levels, exhausting trip to Moscow for processing the documents. But at last a group of like-minded people and I are in England …
It was amazing and immediately struck me. The first days were introductory, and then I could navigate in Guildford, in the city, where we lived. But let me start from the very beginning.
When we arrived, we went to our families. I was inexpressibly glad to meet these people. It was my first experience of communicating with the British. I expected them to be rather cold, full of traditions, but it turned out that they are very kind-hearted and hospitable. Within 2 weeks I lived with the owners of the house (Cranstone; husband and wife) and 2 girls – from Spain (Anna) andTurkey (Oykyu). The first day I was very tired and, unfortunately, was not capable to do something. But the very next day we went on a trip to London.
Arriving there, I was absorbed with the emotions! It was amazing: we were riding on the biggest Ferris wheel, and then went to the Madame Tussads` Museum that I wanted to visit. There I had the opportunity to be photographed with wax figures of celebrities and to go to the room of fear … it was terrifying, my heart took in heels! It was very scary, but I endured, and then just laughed at the idea of the room. The museum had many interesting things to see.
The next day I went to school for the first time. I had the opportunity to see the conditions in which teenagers learn English. Children at my school were from lots of different cultures, but that didn`t stop us being friends.
At first I could not remember the way to school, but I my neighbor, living for 2 weeks in Guildford, helped me. It turned out that I lived near the center of our town.
On Wednesday, we had another tour – to Oxford. I had a lot of emotions from it. It was just incredibly exciting to look at the famous University of Oxford, which I much heard about! Upon arrival in England it was hard to get used to the language and how to communicate it. I took a very visible difference between the Russian, speaking English and the British. But after the first few trips I used to and learnt a lot. And of course it was great to visit the famous hall, where the action of world famous movie about Harry Potter has taken place. It was just incredibly exciting to feel like the heroine of this film. My dream was realized!
Except trips to other cities I was walking with my friends along the streets of the city every day after classes. They were totally different from our Russian ones. For example, the main street, often called, High Street, was lined with stone, everywhere one could see windows of various shops. It is worth noting that the local bakery was very good, clothes were much cheaper than in Russia, but the food, by contrast, was very expensive.
On Saturday, we had an excursion to London again. We gladly walked through Trafalgar Square, looked at Buckingham Palace, the queen was in the castle at that time, as it was raised the state flag on the Palace, saw Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, visited the historical London museum.
Before being in London, I thought that it`s the tourist centre, full of foreigners. But I was wrong, because it looked like Moscow. Like most capital cities, it was noisy, polluted and congested with traffic.
On Wednesday we had the last excursion in Portsmouth. As for me it was probably the most exciting. We visited the old museum ships, including the oldest and one of the most famous, the ship Victoria, on which Admiral Nelson has sailed. In Portsmouth, I visited the museum, consisting of a single ship, hauled from the ocean floor. It was under water for a long time, so now he is behind a glass, and it a jet of water sent it as the ship won`t disintegrate into small particles.
Friday was the last day in England. I would stay in England at least another slightly. But, unfortunately, we left on Saturday. So I tried to bypass all of the most beautiful parts of Guilford, which I knew. At home, I interacted with my neighbors; we exchanged e-mails to write to each other, arriving at home. That was the last day in this country for me and Oykyu, so we packed our suitcases, and then decided to have a farewell dinner. We went to the store and buy various delicacies, and then sat down in front of TV and chatted. It was very funny! I wish I could repeat it again!
Saturday – the day when we went home. On the one hand, it was sad, but, on the other hand, it was glad for me to realize that soon I will come home!
When I came back I had my own impressions, my own personal experience and new image of England, I would like to share with my friends. I broke my stereotypes about people, cities and life in them. In conclusion, I would like to say that I have received a lot of emotions and increased the skill of communicating in English. The trip helped me a lot: I found new friends who are still talking with. I hope that next year, I will visit England, this wonderful country again!

Было очень страшно, но я пережила, а потом просто смеялась над идеей комнаты. Музей полон интересных вещей, которые стоит посмотреть.
На следующий день я пошла в школу в первый раз. У меня была возможность увидеть условия, в которых учатся английские подростки. Дети в моей школе были из многих стран, но это не помешало нам стать друзьями.
Сначала я не могла запомнить дорогу, но моя соседка, живущая уже 2 недели в Гилдфорде, помогла мне. Оказалось, что я жила совсем недалеко от центра нашего города.
В среду, у нас была еще одна поездка – в Оксфорд. Я получила от нее уйму эмоций. Было просто невероятно интересно посмотреть на знаменитый Оксфордский университет, о котором я много слышала! Нашей группе попался прекрасный гид, объяснявший все детали. По прибытии в Англию было трудно привыкнуть к языку и общению на нем. Я заметила огромную разницу между русскими, говорящими по-английски и англичанами. Но после первых же экскурсий я привыкла и смогла многое узнать. И, конечно же, было потрясающе посетить знаменитый зал, в котором снимался фильм о Гарри Поттере. Это было просто невероятно – почувствовать себя героиней фильма. Моя мечта осуществилась!
Кроме поездок в другие города я много гуляла по Гилфорду с друзьями каждый день после занятий. Улицы очень отличаются от наших русских. Например, главная, часто называемая High Street, улица выложена камнем, всюду можно видеть витрины различных магазинов. Стоит отметить, что местные выпечка очень хорошая, а одежда гораздо дешевле, чем в России, но еда, наоборот, очень дорогая.
В субботу мы побывали на экскурсии в Лондон еще раз. Мы с удовольствием ходили по Трафальгарской площади, посмотрели на Букингемский дворец. Мы поняли, что королева была в замке в то время, так как был поднят государственный флаг над дворцом. Видели Биг Бен, Вестминстерское аббатство, посетили исторический музей Лондона.
До того, как я побывала в Лондоне, я думала, что это туристический центр, полный иностранцев. Но я была не совсем права, потому что Лондон во многом похож на Москву. Как и большинство столиц, это очень шумный, довольно грязный и забитый машинами город.
В среду у нас была последняя экскурсия в Портсмут. Для меня она была, вероятно, самой захватывающей. Мы посетили старые музеи- судна, в том числе старейший и один из самых известных, корабль Виктория, на котором плавал адмирал Нельсон. В Портсмуте я посетила музей с одним экспонатом- корабль, который достали со дна океана. Он пробыл под водой в течение длительного времени, так что теперь стоит за стеклом, и струи воды направлены на него, чтобы он не развалился.
Пятница была последним днем в Англии. Я хотела бы остаться там, по крайней мере еще немного. Но, к сожалению, мы уезжали в субботу. Так что я попыталась обойти все самые красивые места Гилфорда, которые знала. Дома я поговорила со своими соседками, мы обменялись электронными адресами, чтобы писать друг другу письма, приехав домой. Это был последний день в этой стране для меня и Ойкью, поэтому мы собрали чемоданы, а затем решили устроить прощальный ужин. Мы сходили в магазин и купили много разных вкусностей, а затем сели перед телевизором и долго болтали. Это было очень весело! Как бы мне хотелось повторить это снова!
Суббота-день, когда мы уезжали домой. С одной стороны, было грустно, но, с другой стороны, здорово осознавать, что скоро я буду дома!
Когда я вернулась, у меня были свои впечатления, мой личный опыт и новый образ Англии, которым хотела бы поделиться с моими друзьями. Я сломала стереотипы о людях, городах и жизни в них. В заключение хотела бы сказать, что я получила много эмоций и повысила навык общения на английском языке. Поездка очень помогла мне: я нашла новых друзей, с которыми общаюсь до сих пор. Я надеюсь в следующем году я буду в Англии, в этой удивительной стране снова!
