Profession of a doctor
I want to be a doctor. This profession is one of the oldest in the world. This is a very demanding job which requires a lot of skills and knowledge. In my opinion, only those ones who truly want to help other people can become good doctors.
They do not just listen to the patient complaints. A doctor has to diagnose a case and prescribe the right treatment. And this cannot be done without an appropriate training and high level of professionalism.
Advantages and disadvantages
There are both advantages and disadvantages in being a doctor. First of all, profession of a doctor is the one where you do not have weekends and holidays, where you have to work at nights and change your plans because of an emergency call. Another disadvantage is that sometimes you have to deal with fatal illnesses which can be very stressful.

My dream is to become an interpreter in the future. Why have I chosen this particular profession? The answer is quite simple. I like studying foreign languages and cultures. When I study a new foreign language, a new world seems to be opened to me. I can find something unusual, unique, fascinating or even strange there but it is the wonderful experience.
The profession of an interpreter gives you an opportunity to meet new people from different countries or social groups. It teaches you to make decisions right here and right now. It is the experience that you cannot get even being a translator, for example. This is the main reason why I want to be an interpreter.
I will do my best to become an interpreter in the future because this is the work that can make me happy.

Профессия переводчика дает возможность познакомиться с новыми людьми из разных стран или социальных групп. Она учит вас принимать решения здесь и сейчас. Это тот опыт, который вы не можете получить, например, даже будучи письменным переводчиком. Это основная причина, почему я хочу быть именно устным переводчиком.

Profession of a doctor
I want to be a doctor. This profession is one of the oldest in the world. This is a very demanding job which requires a lot of skills and knowledge. In my opinion, only those ones who truly want to help other people can become good doctors.
They do not just listen to the patient complaints. A doctor has to diagnose a case and prescribe the right treatment. And this cannot be done without an appropriate training and high level of professionalism.
Advantages and disadvantages
There are both advantages and disadvantages in being a doctor. First of all, profession of a doctor is the one where you do not have weekends and holidays, where you have to work at nights and change your plans because of an emergency call. Another disadvantage is that sometimes you have to deal with fatal illnesses which can be very stressful.
However, advantages of this profession surpass its disadvantages. Everyone treats doctors with great respect. There are no limits for improvement in this profession and where there is a will, there is a way. And the last, but not the least is joy and gratitude of a recovered patient.
Role of medicine in our life
The role of medicine has greatly increased, especially now when people are trying to look after their health. They undergo medical examinations on a regular basis and do not neglect any indisposition.
With the development of modern technologies new methods of treatment become available. And all that means that profession of a doctor will remain in high demand for many years to come.

In my family people have different professions. My mom is a secretary, my dad is a plumber, my grandparents were farmers, my aunts and uncles work in the office. I know everything about their jobs, but in future I decided to become a doctor. It is very interesting and useful job.
I was never curious about medicine and doctors, but one day I realized that this job will be always good and useful. First of all I like people and I want to work with them. Если я хочу изучать медицину, то придется переехать в более крупный город, например, в Ставрополь. Там находится старейший и уважаемый всеми Медицинский университет с большим выбором факультетов. Само собой разумеется, что я должна хорошо учиться в школе, в особенности по биологии, химии, естественным наукам и обществознанию. Я знаю, что сдать вступительные экзамены в это образовательное учреждение и обучаться в нем будет нелегко, но я приложу максимум усилий. На мой взгляд, быть врачом достойно и престижно. Люди понимают, что вы пытаетесь помочь им, и их благосклонность является лучшей платой за это. На самом деле, врач — это одна из древнейших профессий в мире. Она существовала со времен античности, а первым известным врачом был Гиппократ. Вот почему все врачи сегодня должны давать клятву Гиппократа перед тем, как приступить к медицинской практике. Когда дело доходит до выбора соответствующей медицинской отрасли, я полна нерешимости. Мне нравятся почти все медицинские специальности, и они одинаково интересны для меня. Я могла бы стать стоматологом, окулистом, травматологом, хирургом, акушеркой или просто медсестрой. Но больше всего мне нравится профессия терапевта, потому что это, так или иначе, сочетает в себе все знания о здоровье людей. Терапевты — это люди, которые знают, как справиться с различными проблемами и как лечить большинство болезней. Вот почему, я выбираю эту профессию.
My future profession
A child usually dreams to be a doctor, a teacher, a firefighter or even an astronaut in the future. These professions are very important, so it is wonderful when child’s dream comes true and he or she becomes an expert in the particular field, for example, in medicine.
I think that everyone should work. It may be easy or difficult work, well-paid or low-paid. However, what is even more important is that the work must bring the joy. Of course, the salary is important nowadays but if you are not happy with your job, the salary will mean almost nothing. In this case you should find something else, something that will make you smile. This work even may become just a little addition to the main job.
My dream is to become an interpreter in the future. Why have I chosen this particular profession? The answer is quite simple. I like studying foreign languages and cultures. When I study a new foreign language, a new world seems to be opened to me. I can find something unusual, unique, fascinating or even strange there but it is the wonderful experience.
The profession of an interpreter gives you an opportunity to meet new people from different countries or social groups. It teaches you to make decisions right here and right now. It is the experience that you cannot get even being a translator, for example. This is the main reason why I want to be an interpreter.
I will do my best to become an interpreter in the future because this is the work that can make me happy.

Конечно, зарплата играет значимую роль в наши дни, но если вы не довольны своей работой, зарплата будет значить для вас уже не так много. В этом случае вы должны найти что-то другое, то, что заставит вас улыбнуться. Эта работа даже может стать всего лишь небольшим дополнением к вашей основной профессии.
Моя мечта – это стать в будущем устным переводчиком. Почему я выбрала именно эту профессию? Ответ довольно прост. Я люблю изучать иностранные языки и культуры. Когда я изучаю новый иностранный язык, для меня словно открывается новый мир, в котором я могу найти что-то необычное, уникальное, увлекательное или даже странное, но это замечательный опыт.
Профессия переводчика дает возможность познакомиться с новыми людьми из разных стран или социальных групп. Она учит вас принимать решения здесь и сейчас. Это тот опыт, который вы не можете получить, например, даже будучи письменным переводчиком. Это основная причина, почему я хочу быть именно устным переводчиком.
Я сделаю все возможное, чтобы стать устным переводчиком в будущем, потому что это та работа, которая может сделать меня счастливым.
