Nowadays English is one of the most widespread languages in the world. A huge number of people (over one billion) speak English for historical reasons (colonialist policies and cultural influence of the British Empire) and because of its functionality. English is the official language not only in the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom, but also in India, Australia, and many countries of Africa and Southern America. Due to the great importance of English in business, science, diplomatic relations, it is possible to say that it plays a role of the modern “lingua Franca” like Latin in the Middle Ages or French in the 19th century.

Therefore, it is natural that people learn English willingly; for example, in my country, it holds the first position in the list of the most popular languages for learning. Almost all the Russian children study English in school, and I was among them. My personal experience tied with English is rather pleasant and useful: it was always interesting for me to learn it, especially to write my own texts, translate and speak. I took part in a few competitions in English, and some of them were successful. Besides, I enjoyed reading English and American literature in original (E. Bronte, J. Salinger, etc.).

Начнем разбор с общих рекомендаций по содержанию текста, поскольку первая трудность для любого ученика – это вопрос, что же обо мне рассказать. На самом деле здесь нет ничего сложного, и не надо выдумывать какую-то увлекательную историю своей жизни. Чтобы составить сочинение о себе на английском языке достаточно ориентироваться на стандартную структуру, которая так или иначе встречается в любом тексте данной тематики. Если обобщить примеры эссе и вывести некую закономерность, то шаблон рассказа о себе на английском выглядит следующим образом:
Вступление (приветствие, представление);
Краткая информация о себе (имя и фамилия, место проживания, возраст, образование);
Рассказ о ближнем круге общения (семья, друзья, коллеги);
Перечисление личных качеств и увлечений (характер, хобби, привычки);
Заключение (завершающая мысль, планы на будущее, вопросы к собеседнику).
Вот и все. По сути в сочинении просто требуется подробно раскрыть перечисленные выше пять пунктов. Причем желательно это сделать довольно лаконично. Нет, конечно, английский язык рассказ о себе позволяет составить любого объема и стиля – неспроста в общей совокупности он насчитывает более 1 миллиона слов. Но наша задача при написании рассказа одновременно и описать себя на английском языке, и научиться правильно формулировать свои мысли. Иными словами, избыточное нагромождение фраз, эпитетов и неинтересной информации может значительно подпортить впечатление от вашего самостоятельного эссе-«визитки».
В то же время, понятное дело, что в одно или два предложения рассказ о себе по английскому языку даже на 1 класс школы не сгодится. Здесь нужно найти золотую середину, т.е. описать свою жизнь максимально интересно, грамотно и, так сказать, не растекаясь мыслью по древу. Оптимальный объем для рассказа о себе – 10-20 предложений, в зависимости от ситуации и аудитории, на которую рассчитано эссе.

Ведь мало написать сочинение интересно, нужно его еще и грамотно подать. Основная информация
Это вводный пункт сочинения, в котором вы приветствуете слушателей/читателей и кратко говорите о себе самые важные вещи. Как правило, это имя и фамилия, возраст, город и страна проживания. Составление такого краткого рассказа о себе на английском занимает отдельный абзац, включающий всего пару-тройку предложений. Изучение иностранных языков важно в наши дни. Я думаю, что культурный и современный человек должен изучать иностранные языки. Но я предпочитаю английский язык. Почему? Английский становится глобальным языком. Половина миллиарда человек в мире используют английский дома или на работе. Английский – это язык, который известен всему нашему прекрасному, величественному и удивительному миру. Английский настолько распространен, что он стал стандартным языком всех видов международных общений.

Я начала изучать язык с 11 лет. Мне он очень нравится. Но я также люблю свой родной русский язык. Великий немецкий поэт Гёте однажды сказал: «Тот, кто не знает иностранного языка, не знает и своего собственного». Я согласна с ним, все познается в сравнении. Знание английского языка помогает мне познавать русский язык.
Знание английского языка – это великая сила. Мне нужно знать английский язык. Я должна оценить и принять это знание, как ключ к достижению своей мечты. Я надеюсь, что мои успехи в английском будут хорошие.

Иностранный язык помогает узнать родной язык лучше. Люди, которые знают много языков – полиглоты. Мы знаем некоторые имена полиглотов: немецкий профессор Шлимман, известный писатель Шекспир, философ Сократ и много других.
В наши дни, английский стал международным языком. Около 300 миллионов людей говорят на нем, как на родном языке. Что касается меня, я учу английский с 7 лет. Этот язык очень мне помогает, говорить свободно с людьми со всего мира, заводить новых друзей и принимать участие в международных конкурсах.
Мне нравиться одна пословица Йогана Гете: “Тот, кто не знает иностранных языков, не знает ничего про свой родной язык”. Я разговариваю на украинском, русском, английском, немного на итальянском и испанском. И я очень горжусь этим, потому что языки – это моя вторая жизнь. Также, я бы хотела выучить немецкий, французский и сербский, но в этом году я посвящаю себя изучению итальянского. Вы знаете, мечта моего детства – быть переводчиком и я уверенна я буду.

I think that nowadays English studying is a very important phenomenon. English language became an international language. English occupies leading position among such languages as Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic and French – it is the official languages of the UN. All large companies such as air and sea companies use this language. I guess that in future all people will speak English. My mother says that every educated person should know foreign language or may be some foreign languages. I think that people who know English can visit different countries without problems, because English gives a possibility to communicate with foreign people. Today many people study English. Some of them because of work necessity, they need to make agreements and many different documents. Also a lot of people travel abroad. And for other people language studying is a hobby. They just want to wide their outlook.
My father says that English is widespread. English is a very useful language, because, 80 percent of communications between a person and a computer are in English. Also, nearly half of all business deals in Europe are conducted in English. I guess that English is studied as foreign language in many schools all over the world.
As for me, I study English because I want to be an interpreter. I guess that it is an interesting work. If you work as an interpreter you can met new people, communicate with them and make friend with some of them. Also I study English because I want to understand many people from different countries, I want to read English books in the original, I want to listen songs of foreign groups and to understand them, I want to watch different TV programs. I think that in future I`ll get a possibility to visit USA or England. It would be interesting experience. I like to study English. I like to find out the origin of words, also I like to compare English and Russian words, often they are almost identical. English studying is very interesting and informative.

I study at the ninth grade now. My favorite subject at school is English. When I have spare time I always try to improve my level of English. This year I am going to take an international exam in English that`s why I lay special emphasis on this subject. Very often I read different English books or watch some films to enlarge my vocabulary. My dream is to study in London. I am a very ambitious person and tend to achieve all my goals. Я изучаю английский почти с самого детства. Мои родители говорят на немецком языке и я всегда хотела изучать иностранный язык. Когда я ходила в детский сад, я часто смотрела мультфильмы на английском, но, конечно, не понимала совершенно, о чем там идёт речь.
Позже в школе я начала изучать английский язык на регулярной основе. И уже могу вести беседу с иностранцем более-менее и общаться со своими приятелями-иностранцами.

Честно говоря, я считаю, что английский это отличная возможность найти хорошую работу, путешествовать, встретить новых интересных людей, построить хорошую карьеру и много всего прочего. Не все мои подруги понимают важность языка сейчас и не уделяют нужного внимания английскому. Надеюсь, в будущем они передумают, потому что английский- это международный язык и он откроет для нас двери в будущее.

Nowadays English is one of the most widespread languages in the world. A huge number of people (over one billion) speak English for historical reasons (colonialist policies and cultural influence of the British Empire) and because of its functionality. English is the official language not only in the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom, but also in India, Australia, and many countries of Africa and Southern America. Due to the great importance of English in business, science, diplomatic relations, it is possible to say that it plays a role of the modern “lingua Franca” like Latin in the Middle Ages or French in the 19th century.

Начнем разбор с общих рекомендаций по содержанию текста, поскольку первая трудность для любого ученика – это вопрос, что же обо мне рассказать. На самом деле здесь нет ничего сложного, и не надо выдумывать какую-то увлекательную историю своей жизни. Чтобы составить сочинение о себе на английском языке достаточно ориентироваться на стандартную структуру, которая так или иначе встречается в любом тексте данной тематики. Если обобщить примеры эссе и вывести некую закономерность, то шаблон рассказа о себе на английском выглядит следующим образом:
Вступление (приветствие, представление);
Краткая информация о себе (имя и фамилия, место проживания, возраст, образование);
Рассказ о ближнем круге общения (семья, друзья, коллеги);
Перечисление личных качеств и увлечений (характер, хобби, привычки);
Заключение (завершающая мысль, планы на будущее, вопросы к собеседнику).
Вот и все. По сути в сочинении просто требуется подробно раскрыть перечисленные выше пять пунктов. Причем желательно это сделать довольно лаконично. Нет, конечно, английский язык рассказ о себе позволяет составить любого объема и стиля – неспроста в общей совокупности он насчитывает более 1 миллиона слов. Но наша задача при написании рассказа одновременно и описать себя на английском языке, и научиться правильно формулировать свои мысли. Иными словами, избыточное нагромождение фраз, эпитетов и неинтересной информации может значительно подпортить впечатление от вашего самостоятельного эссе-«визитки».
В то же время, понятное дело, что в одно или два предложения рассказ о себе по английскому языку даже на 1 класс школы не сгодится. Здесь нужно найти золотую середину, т.е. описать свою жизнь максимально интересно, грамотно и, так сказать, не растекаясь мыслью по древу. Оптимальный объем для рассказа о себе – 10-20 предложений, в зависимости от ситуации и аудитории, на которую рассчитано эссе.
Вот и все, что касается общих рекомендаций по плану сочинения. А вот как грамотно и легко сделать для русского текста о себе перевод на английский – расскажем в следующем разделе.

Основная информация
Это вводный пункт сочинения, в котором вы приветствуете слушателей/читателей и кратко говорите о себе самые важные вещи. Как правило, это имя и фамилия, возраст, город и страна проживания. Составление такого краткого рассказа о себе на английском занимает отдельный абзац, включающий всего пару-тройку предложений. Родные, друзья, близкое окружение – это та тема, без которой сочинение о своей жизни точно было бы неполным. Не стоит, конечно, сильно посвящать слушателей или читателей в историю семьи и описывать подробно бытовые ситуации, но вкратце написать рассказ на английском языке о родне или близких друзьях нужно. Мы знаем некоторые имена полиглотов: немецкий профессор Шлимман, известный писатель Шекспир, философ Сократ и много других.
В наши дни, английский стал международным языком. Около 300 миллионов людей говорят на нем, как на родном языке. Что касается меня, я учу английский с 7 лет. Этот язык очень мне помогает, говорить свободно с людьми со всего мира, заводить новых друзей и принимать участие в международных конкурсах.
Мне нравиться одна пословица Йогана Гете: “Тот, кто не знает иностранных языков, не знает ничего про свой родной язык”. Я разговариваю на украинском, русском, английском, немного на итальянском и испанском. И я очень горжусь этим, потому что языки – это моя вторая жизнь. Также, я бы хотела выучить немецкий, французский и сербский, но в этом году я посвящаю себя изучению итальянского. Вы знаете, мечта моего детства – быть переводчиком и я уверенна я буду.

I think that nowadays English studying is a very important phenomenon. English language became an international language. English occupies leading position among such languages as Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic and French – it is the official languages of the UN. All large companies such as air and sea companies use this language. I guess that in future all people will speak English. My mother says that every educated person should know foreign language or may be some foreign languages. I think that people who know English can visit different countries without problems, because English gives a possibility to communicate with foreign people. Today many people study English. Some of them because of work necessity, they need to make agreements and many different documents. Also a lot of people travel abroad. And for other people language studying is a hobby. They just want to wide their outlook.
My father says that English is widespread. English is a very useful language, because, 80 percent of communications between a person and a computer are in English. Also, nearly half of all business deals in Europe are conducted in English. I guess that English is studied as foreign language in many schools all over the world.
As for me, I study English because I want to be an interpreter. I guess that it is an interesting work. If you work as an interpreter you can met new people, communicate with them and make friend with some of them. Also I study English because I want to understand many people from different countries, I want to read English books in the original, I want to listen songs of foreign groups and to understand them, I want to watch different TV programs. Надеюсь, в будущем я воспользуюсь этими знаниями в своей карьере или хотя бы для путешествий. Я считаю важным сегодня говорить как минимум на одном иностранном языке. Он придаёт уверенность что-ли, больше оптимизма и помогает чувствовать какую-то безопасность.
В школе у меня каждую неделю 3 урока, а дома- 2 дополнительных занятия. Надеюсь, в будущем я преуспею и смогу смотреть фильмы на английском без субтитров. Сейчас я понимаю всего 50% увиденного.
Честно говоря, я считаю, что английский это отличная возможность найти хорошую работу, путешествовать, встретить новых интересных людей, построить хорошую карьеру и много всего прочего. Не все мои подруги понимают важность языка сейчас и не уделяют нужного внимания английскому. Надеюсь, в будущем они передумают, потому что английский- это международный язык и он откроет для нас двери в будущее.
Я буду очень стараться, учиться по-максимуму, читать книги и газеты, смотреть фильмы, учить правила и в будущем обязательно заговорю как носитель языка.
