Books are wonderful! They accompany us during all our life. When you read you enrich your mind and broaden your knowledge. People who read books are intelligent. Books are also an entertainment. You and the characters of the book you are reading can find yourselves in different countries and have a lot of adventures. Just imagine — new characters, scenes, lives, events! It’s like real life in miniature!
A book can be a faithful friend and a teacher. Reading a book you open new horizons for yourself. A book can form our values and characters. It gives us an opportunity to imagine the future and to look into the past. One can learn a lot by reading books. And I am sure that the time spent on a good book is never wasted. Too bad people started to read less. But it, of course, depends on the author greatly as well, on his or her talent.
Books are of great help in any education. With the help of the Internet, we can find and read online almost any book or literary piece on the Internet. And I find it quite convenient because it saves a lot of time. But I’m sure that no matter how convenient it is to get a book online, there is still no bigger pleasure than reading a printed one.
I’m fond of reading different genres like historical novels, detectives or science fiction, tales and legends. In my small library at home, I have some printed books which are important to me. Books like Alice in Wonderland, Lord of the Rings, Life of Alexander the Great and others. I like to re-read them from time to time, sometimes I make some notes on their pages and just smell the scent of childhood and magic.

Nowadays it’s
almost impossible to imagine our life without books. Perhaps,
there are more books on our planet than men alive.
Long before the
invention of printing people valued books as treasure troves of
the human knowledge and experience. Hand — written manuscripts
took months of writing and were collected by and kept in
monasteries with utmost care. We can distinguish books between
three classes of them.
Firstly, books on
different branches of knowledge, works by brilliant minds of
mankind. Secondly, textbooks, reference books and numerous
dictionaries. And at last, books of all kinds and genres to read
at leisure.
Classics should
be taken a little at a time. One’s understanding of books by
Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, Mopassan and Balzak depends on one’s
age and experience.
Serious books are
to be read conscientiously and maybe more than once. To a
thinking reader they will provide new food for thought every
time he rereads it. Many people indulge in reading science
fiction, fantasy or detective stories. Of course, there are some
advantages and disadvantages of this kind of literature, often
reffered to as «easy reading».
As for me, good
science fiction and fantasy develop imagination, logical
thinking, broader one’s outlook.
The same could be
said in favour of detective stories. They reveal such minute
details of everyday life in this or that particular country that
are of greatest interest for a curious reader. The masterpieces
of this genre by Sir Arthur Conan
Doyle, Agatha Christie and others, show the depths of
psychological analysis, the insight into the human nature.
As an old saying
goes, man cannot live on bread alone. Books are the source of
knowledge and the means of self — perfection. Sometimes it is
difficult to solve some problems in life. I think that books can
help us. Books must be our friends during all our life. Книги в нашей жизни

My favourite book
It’s impossible to be an educated person without good books. Most of the books are to be read just once, others can be read plenty of times. And each time you find something new and useful as you turn the same pages of your favourite books. I am fond of books about adventures and great people, detective stories and science fiction. I enjoy reading them when I have spare time.
But my favorite book of all times is a novel “Three comrades” written by a German writer Erich Maria Remarque. This book was recommended to me by my elder sister and I’m grateful to her for that advice. It was really worth reading.
“Three comrades” is a book about love and friendship of three common people (Robert, Otto and Gottfried) who lived in Germany between the two World wars. The main characters are real friends who struggle together with poverty and violence and they manage to preserve their dignity and humanity. The story of beautiful and tragic love between Robert and Pat is heart-breaking because the girl dies of tuberculosis.
I find the book very powerful and deeply moving. It teaches people to find the inner strength to live in a tough world. It often helps me when I find myself in a difficult situation and I need an answer to some question. It is my great friend and teacher.

I’ve recently read a book which has made a very deep impression on me. It’s called Gone with the Wind and it makes really unforgettable reading. The author of the book is Margaret Mitchell. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, into a family of the president of the Atlanta Historical Society. All the family were interested in American history and she grew up in an atmosphere of stories about the Civil War.
After graduating from college Margaret Mitchell worked for a time for the Atlanta Journal. In 1925 she got married. In the following ten years she put on paper all the stories she had heard about the Civil War. The result was Gone with the Wind. It was first published in 1936 and became the talking point of all America. In 1939 it was made into a highly successful film. Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable played the leading roles. Vivien Leigh won the Oscar. Everyone loved her high-spirited and beautiful heroine, Scarlett O’Hara.
The story is set around the time of the American Civil War (1861-65) when the Southern States went to war with the North to defend their way of life. It was a way of life in which rich gentry lived in large houses and owned huge areas of land, cultivated by black slaves. Scarlett O’Hara was born into one of these rich houses. When this way of life was destroyed and all her family’s wealth taken away by the advancing Northerners, the spoilt, willful Scarlet had to grow up and use all her wit and intelligence — and beauty — to build a new life.
But Gone with the Wind is also about a love triangle. While Scarlett loves the quiet, gentlemanly Ashley Wilkes, the wild and decidedly ungentlemanly Rhett Butler is in love with her. After Ashley marries someone else, and after many adventures of her own, Scarlett does marry Rhett — but only for money.
The marriage is stormy and eventually Rhett walks out on her, but by that time Scarlett has realized that she loves him after all. Scarlett thinks of some way of getting him back, but we never know if she does.
Margaret Mitchell never wrote a sequel to answer this burning question.
She died in 1949 in a car crash.
In 1991 a publishing company asked Alexandra Ripley, a historical novelist to do the job. Her novel Scarlett was not in the same class as the original. Critics have been writing very bad reviews of Scarlett, but the book is popular with the public. Перевод:

There are fiction and non-Fiction books. Fiction books are thought up by authors though they can be based on true events. Non-Fiction books contain real facts.
Fiction literature offers a great variety of genres to readers: romance, historical novels, science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, fables, fairy-tales, drama, poetry. Non-Fiction includes biographies and autobiographies, dictionaries, encyclopedias, almanacs. Every reader has his favourite genre corresponding to his taste and character.
Why Do People Read?
People read books because they are a valuable source of information and knowledge. Studying is one of the main reasons why people read books. It is impossible to imagine modern school without books.
The programme material is contained mostly in textbooks. Reading develops mind and thinking abilities. Books consider the eternal questions of life, so they help us in everyday situations and stimulate our self-perfection.
My Favourite Book
One of my favourite books is “The Old Man and the Sea” by Ernest Hemingway. The fisherman Santiago is very devoted to the sea where he has been fishing since his early days. He has always been prepared for the battle with a big fish.
The battle is dangerous and hard but the old man morally wins the battle. His words “man can be destroyed but not defeated” are the main idea of Hemingway’s masterpiece. This book inspires me greatly especially at the most difficult moments of my life. Isn’t it the value of literature?

Needless to say, even now books help us to get ready for different kinds of exams and tests, because they can present much useful information.
Even though it may seem that the Internet and television are taking over, the role of books in our lives cannot be underestimated. Reading helps to change our viewpoint. Due to classic books, we can distinguish between the right and the wrong.
Reading can help us to grow spiritually. Furthermore, a well-read person can always boast of being an erudite. For instance, historical novels can help us to remember many facts that may be of great help during a history lesson. This way, you can have a good time and learn at one and the same time. As a matter of fact, people who read a lot always have advantage over people who read less.
As for me, books have been an essential part of my life for as long as I can remember. Personally, I am very fond of classic literature and such writers as Shakespeare, Dickens and Salinger. Their stories teach us what courage and honor, love and real friendship, companionship and kindness are. I believe that our society would not be the same without stories of Romeo and Juliette or Dorian Grey.
It should be added that I also do not mind reading some short stories just for fun. Books can be highly entertaining in the same way as exemplary.
I am deeply convinced that books are real treasures of wisdom.

When I read this book for the first time, I completely agreed with all actions of Dantes. Then I was only 16 years old. However many years later I read this book one more time. And as an adult I would say that sometimes the revenge of Dantes was too severe. I changed my point of view concerning many problems raised in the book.

And, in my opinion, there is no more unhappy person than the one who does not like to read. For me reading a book is not simple receiving of any information. This is an immersion into the world of bright fantasies, real feelings, travelling, and many other things that the author has experienced or composed.
I am sorry to say, but today few people like to read. Many people prefer to watch movies instead of reading books. They think that films can replace the book. But it is not true. When a person reads a book, he is immersing himself into it. He sympathizes with the characters living their own lives. He lives a whole life as long as holding a book in his hands.
In the movie talented scriptwriters and stage directors devise the characters. But these images are biased. After reading the book the screenwriter writes a scenario. And not always this scenario matches the content of the book itself. In fact, each person finds something new for himself in the book. Someone sees himself in the place of its characters; someone wants to become a hero… The film, in my opinion, imposes its emotions and images of the characters. Personally I often compare the book and the movie. And usually the comparison is not in favor of the film.
You will never be alone reading books. You will not get bored or sad either. The book will immerse you into its unusual world, and the gray everyday life will sparkle for you with new colors. Often, after reading a book, I get sorry that it is already over.
Read books! It is not so important what genre you prefer. The main thing is that you get from the process of reading lots of pleasure.

The possibility to analyze serious issues in a “game” invented by a writer, in a fictional world, attracts everyone. Reading is not only pleasant, but also useful activity: we enjoy the story, empathize with characters and, at the same time, learn to understand the others and ourselves.

Nowadays, due to the wide range of books, everyone can choose what he or she prefers: classical literature (for example, I adore Shakespeare’s tragedies and Dostoevsky’s novels) or the modern one, a historical novel or science fiction, a love story or the memoirs of a famous person. However, people have little time for reading, which is very sad. In my opinion, the cinema and the Internet are not able to replace the depth of literature.

The role of books in our life
First of all, I would like to say a few words about the role of books in our life. I think books are our best friends. While reading we have an opportunity to look into the future or into the past. Books form our values and character. Besides, they help us in self-education. What is more important, books teach us to be kind, hard-working, brave and honest and to understand each other better.
My favourite book
I’m really fond of reading. Whenever I have got free time I spend it with a book. There are a lot of famous writers in the world known for their wonderful books but my favourite one is “Oliver Twist” written by Charles Dickens in 1838. This is a very sad story with a happy end though. In his novel Dickens wrote about poverty and an unromantic criminal world. The book also exposed the cruelty with which poor children were treated in London at that time.
Content of the novel
It tells us about an orphan who was born into a life of poverty and misfortune. He came across lots of terrible events in the early years of his life and it can be stated that “he died several times” but the desire to live and to find justice in this world helped him to survive, to reunite with his lost relatives and to finally become happy. In this book a constant struggle of good and evil is described. You can’t help crying when reading it as you start to live the life of the main character. I truly believe that “Oliver Twist” is a masterpiece of English literature.
Conclusion
Summing up I want to say that a book is one of the wonders of the world. We must treat them with great care.
And now I want to explain why e-books are better. Firstly, I would like to stress that e-books have a comfortable screen. We can change the front size. If we have a bad eyesight, it is very useful. Secondly, to have e-books is rather cheaper than every time to buy a new paper book because, if you buy an e-book only once, and then you do not spend a penny. Thirdly, you can take your e-book with you wherever you go. It is also useful during long journeys. Paper books may be large and heavy, and you can’t take a lot of such books with you.
But I can’t but mention that e-books also have their disadvantages. And one of them is that the e-book can get discharged. Besides, if you lose your e-book, you will lose all the books that were on it, which you wanted to read.
But, if you lose a paper book, you can buy the same one again. Even if you take care of the e-book, it can break while the book made of paper can’t break, but you should keep in mind that its page it can torn.
In conclusion, I would like to say that, taking all this into consideration, I, nevertheless, consider that the e-book is much better. But, of course, tastes differ.

It’s like real life in miniature!
A book can be a faithful friend and a teacher. Reading a book you open new horizons for yourself. A book can form our values and characters. It gives us an opportunity to imagine the future and to look into the past. One can learn a lot by reading books. And I am sure that the time spent on a good book is never wasted. Too bad people started to read less. But it, of course, depends on the author greatly as well, on his or her talent.
Books are of great help in any education. With the help of the Internet, we can find and read online almost any book or literary piece on the Internet. And I find it quite convenient because it saves a lot of time. But I’m sure that no matter how convenient it is to get a book online, there is still no bigger pleasure than reading a printed one.
I’m fond of reading different genres like historical novels, detectives or science fiction, tales and legends. In my small library at home, I have some printed books which are important to me. Books like Alice in Wonderland, Lord of the Rings, Life of Alexander the Great and others. I like to re-read them from time to time, sometimes I make some notes on their pages and just smell the scent of childhood and magic.

Nowadays it’s
almost impossible to imagine our life without books. Perhaps,
there are more books on our planet than men alive.
Long before the
invention of printing people valued books as treasure troves of
the human knowledge and experience. Hand — written manuscripts
took months of writing and were collected by and kept in
monasteries with utmost care. We can distinguish books between
three classes of them.
Firstly, books on
different branches of knowledge, works by brilliant minds of
mankind. Secondly, textbooks, reference books and numerous
dictionaries. And at last, books of all kinds and genres to read
at leisure.
Classics should
be taken a little at a time. One’s understanding of books by
Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, Mopassan and Balzak depends on one’s
age and experience.
Serious books are
to be read conscientiously and maybe more than once. To a
thinking reader they will provide new food for thought every
time he rereads it. Many people indulge in reading science
fiction, fantasy or detective stories. Of course, there are some
advantages and disadvantages of this kind of literature, often
reffered to as «easy reading».
As for me, good
science fiction and fantasy develop imagination, logical
thinking, broader one’s outlook.
The same could be
said in favour of detective stories. They reveal such minute
details of everyday life in this or that particular country that
are of greatest interest for a curious reader. The masterpieces
of this genre by Sir Arthur Conan
Doyle, Agatha Christie and others, show the depths of
psychological analysis, the insight into the human nature.
As an old saying
goes, man cannot live on bread alone. Books are the source of
knowledge and the means of self — perfection. Sometimes it is
difficult to solve some problems in life. I think that books can
help us. Books must be our friends during all our life.

My favourite book
It’s impossible to be an educated person without good books. Most of the books are to be read just once, others can be read plenty of times. And each time you find something new and useful as you turn the same pages of your favourite books. I am fond of books about adventures and great people, detective stories and science fiction. I enjoy reading them when I have spare time.
But my favorite book of all times is a novel “Three comrades” written by a German writer Erich Maria Remarque. This book was recommended to me by my elder sister and I’m grateful to her for that advice. It was really worth reading.
“Three comrades” is a book about love and friendship of three common people (Robert, Otto and Gottfried) who lived in Germany between the two World wars. The main characters are real friends who struggle together with poverty and violence and they manage to preserve their dignity and humanity. The story of beautiful and tragic love between Robert and Pat is heart-breaking because the girl dies of tuberculosis.
I find the book very powerful and deeply moving. It teaches people to find the inner strength to live in a tough world. It often helps me when I find myself in a difficult situation and I need an answer to some question. It is my great friend and teacher.

I’ve recently read a book which has made a very deep impression on me. It’s called Gone with the Wind and it makes really unforgettable reading. The author of the book is Margaret Mitchell. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, into a family of the president of the Atlanta Historical Society. All the family were interested in American history and she grew up in an atmosphere of stories about the Civil War.
After graduating from college Margaret Mitchell worked for a time for the Atlanta Journal. In 1925 she got married. In the following ten years she put on paper all the stories she had heard about the Civil War. The result was Gone with the Wind. It was first published in 1936 and became the talking point of all America. In 1939 it was made into a highly successful film. Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable played the leading roles. Vivien Leigh won the Oscar. Everyone loved her high-spirited and beautiful heroine, Scarlett O’Hara.
The story is set around the time of the American Civil War (1861-65) when the Southern States went to war with the North to defend their way of life. It was a way of life in which rich gentry lived in large houses and owned huge areas of land, cultivated by black slaves. Scarlett O’Hara was born into one of these rich houses. When this way of life was destroyed and all her family’s wealth taken away by the advancing Northerners, the spoilt, willful Scarlet had to grow up and use all her wit and intelligence — and beauty — to build a new life.
But Gone with the Wind is also about a love triangle. While Scarlett loves the quiet, gentlemanly Ashley Wilkes, the wild and decidedly ungentlemanly Rhett Butler is in love with her. After Ashley marries someone else, and after many adventures of her own, Scarlett does marry Rhett — but only for money.
The marriage is stormy and eventually Rhett walks out on her, but by that time Scarlett has realized that she loves him after all. Scarlett thinks of some way of getting him back, but we never know if she does.
Margaret Mitchell never wrote a sequel to answer this burning question.
She died in 1949 in a car crash.
In 1991 a publishing company asked Alexandra Ripley, a historical novelist to do the job. Her novel Scarlett was not in the same class as the original. Critics have been writing very bad reviews of Scarlett, but the book is popular with the public.

There are fiction and non-Fiction books. Fiction books are thought up by authors though they can be based on true events. Non-Fiction books contain real facts.
Fiction literature offers a great variety of genres to readers: romance, historical novels, science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, fables, fairy-tales, drama, poetry. Non-Fiction includes biographies and autobiographies, dictionaries, encyclopedias, almanacs. Every reader has his favourite genre corresponding to his taste and character.
Why Do People Read?
People read books because they are a valuable source of information and knowledge. Studying is one of the main reasons why people read books. It is impossible to imagine modern school without books.
The programme material is contained mostly in textbooks. Reading develops mind and thinking abilities. Books consider the eternal questions of life, so they help us in everyday situations and stimulate our self-perfection.
My Favourite Book
One of my favourite books is “The Old Man and the Sea” by Ernest Hemingway. The fisherman Santiago is very devoted to the sea where he has been fishing since his early days. He has always been prepared for the battle with a big fish.
The battle is dangerous and hard but the old man morally wins the battle. His words “man can be destroyed but not defeated” are the main idea of Hemingway’s masterpiece. This book inspires me greatly especially at the most difficult moments of my life. Isn’t it the value of literature?

Needless to say, even now books help us to get ready for different kinds of exams and tests, because they can present much useful information.
Even though it may seem that the Internet and television are taking over, the role of books in our lives cannot be underestimated. Reading helps to change our viewpoint. Due to classic books, we can distinguish between the right and the wrong.
Reading can help us to grow spiritually. Furthermore, a well-read person can always boast of being an erudite. For instance, historical novels can help us to remember many facts that may be of great help during a history lesson. This way, you can have a good time and learn at one and the same time. As a matter of fact, people who read a lot always have advantage over people who read less.
As for me, books have been an essential part of my life for as long as I can remember. Personally, I am very fond of classic literature and such writers as Shakespeare, Dickens and Salinger. Their stories teach us what courage and honor, love and real friendship, companionship and kindness are. I believe that our society would not be the same without stories of Romeo and Juliette or Dorian Grey.
It should be added that I also do not mind reading some short stories just for fun. Books can be highly entertaining in the same way as exemplary.
I am deeply convinced that books are real treasures of wisdom.

When I read this book for the first time, I completely agreed with all actions of Dantes. Then I was only 16 years old. However many years later I read this book one more time. And as an adult I would say that sometimes the revenge of Dantes was too severe. I changed my point of view concerning many problems raised in the book.

И, будучи взрослым человеком, я бы сказала, что иногда месть Дантеса была слишком жестокой. Я изменила свою точку зрения относительно многих проблем, поднятых в книге.
Nevertheless, I like the main character and sympathise him. I recommend this book to everyone.

And, in my opinion, there is no more unhappy person than the one who does not like to read. For me reading a book is not simple receiving of any information. This is an immersion into the world of bright fantasies, real feelings, travelling, and many other things that the author has experienced or composed.
I am sorry to say, but today few people like to read. Many people prefer to watch movies instead of reading books. They think that films can replace the book. But it is not true. When a person reads a book, he is immersing himself into it. He sympathizes with the characters living their own lives. He lives a whole life as long as holding a book in his hands.
In the movie talented scriptwriters and stage directors devise the characters. But these images are biased. After reading the book the screenwriter writes a scenario. And not always this scenario matches the content of the book itself. In fact, each person finds something new for himself in the book. Someone sees himself in the place of its characters; someone wants to become a hero… The film, in my opinion, imposes its emotions and images of the characters. Personally I often compare the book and the movie. And usually the comparison is not in favor of the film.
You will never be alone reading books. You will not get bored or sad either. The book will immerse you into its unusual world, and the gray everyday life will sparkle for you with new colors. Often, after reading a book, I get sorry that it is already over.
Read books! It is not so important what genre you prefer. The main thing is that you get from the process of reading lots of pleasure.
Я бы хотела рассказать о роли книг в современной жизни. Книга — лучший друг, которого может иметь человек. Книга — друг, который никогда не предаст.
И, по-моему, нет более несчастного человека, чем тот, кто не любит читать. Потому что чтение книги — это не просто получение какой-либо информации. Это погружение в мир ярких фантазий, настоящих чувств, путешествий и многого другого, что автор пережил или придумал.
Сегодня мало кто любит читать. Многие люди предпочитают смотреть фильмы, вместо чтения книг. Они думают, что фильм может заменить книгу. Но это не так. Когда человек читает книгу, он погружается в нее. Он сочувствует героям, переживает с ними. Он проживает целую жизнь, пока держит книгу в руках.
В фильме герои придуманы талантливыми сценаристами и режиссерами. Но эти образы являются предвзятыми. После прочтения книги, сценарист пишет сценарий. И не всегда этот сценарий соответствует содержанию книги. На самом деле каждый человек находит для себя что-то новое в книге.
Кто-то видит себя на месте героя, кто-то хочет стать героем. Фильм, по моему мнению, навязывает свои эмоции и образы персонажей. Лично я часто сравнивают книгу и фильм. И, как правило, сравнение не в пользу фильма.
Человек никогда не будет одинок, читая книги. Он не будет скучать и грустить. Книга погрузит его в свой необычный мир, и серые будни заиграют новыми красками. Часто, после прочтения книги, жалко, что она уже закончилась.
Читайте книги! Не так важно, какой жанр вы предпочитаете. Главное, что вы получаете от процесса чтения удовольствие.

People create works of art to express their thoughts and feelings, to systematize the knowledge about the world, and to touch the beauty. Literature, as the verbal art, reflect these intentions with the greatest obviousness. This ancient art was developing along with the society for centuries. Authors wrote stories and tales, poems and novels, reconsidered folk legends and heroic epos, but, unfortunately, a very small percentage of the population could read their texts: the majority was illiterate. The emergence of free and accessible education changed the situation, and since the 19th century, reading has become a natural part of life.

Reading remains popular among people of all the ages and social classes, because it helps to relax, to forget about everyday problems for a while and to think about something more significant – the sense of life or one’s own personality. The possibility to analyze serious issues in a “game” invented by a writer, in a fictional world, attracts everyone. Reading is not only pleasant, but also useful activity: we enjoy the story, empathize with characters and, at the same time, learn to understand the others and ourselves.
Чтение остаётся популярным среди людей всех возрастов и социальных классов, потому что помогает расслабиться, ненадолго забыть о бытовых проблемах и подумать о чём-то более значимом – о смысле жизни или о собственной личности. Возможность анализировать серьёзные вопросы в «игре», изобретённой автором, в вымышленном мире, привлекает каждого. Чтение – не только приятное, но и полезное занятие: мы наслаждаемся сюжетом, сопереживаем персонажам и в то же время учимся понимать других и самих себя.
Nowadays, due to the wide range of books, everyone can choose what he or she prefers: classical literature (for example, I adore Shakespeare’s tragedies and Dostoevsky’s novels) or the modern one, a historical novel or science fiction, a love story or the memoirs of a famous person. However, people have little time for reading, which is very sad. In my opinion, the cinema and the Internet are not able to replace the depth of literature.

The role of books in our life
First of all, I would like to say a few words about the role of books in our life. I think books are our best friends. While reading we have an opportunity to look into the future or into the past. Books form our values and character. Besides, they help us in self-education. What is more important, books teach us to be kind, hard-working, brave and honest and to understand each other better.
My favourite book
I’m really fond of reading. Whenever I have got free time I spend it with a book. There are a lot of famous writers in the world known for their wonderful books but my favourite one is “Oliver Twist” written by Charles Dickens in 1838. This is a very sad story with a happy end though. In his novel Dickens wrote about poverty and an unromantic criminal world. The book also exposed the cruelty with which poor children were treated in London at that time.
Content of the novel
It tells us about an orphan who was born into a life of poverty and misfortune. He came across lots of terrible events in the early years of his life and it can be stated that “he died several times” but the desire to live and to find justice in this world helped him to survive, to reunite with his lost relatives and to finally become happy. In this book a constant struggle of good and evil is described. You can’t help crying when reading it as you start to live the life of the main character. I truly believe that “Oliver Twist” is a masterpiece of English literature.
Conclusion
Summing up I want to say that a book is one of the wonders of the world. We must treat them with great care.
And now I want to explain why e-books are better. Firstly, I would like to stress that e-books have a comfortable screen. We can change the front size. If we have a bad eyesight, it is very useful. Secondly, to have e-books is rather cheaper than every time to buy a new paper book because, if you buy an e-book only once, and then you do not spend a penny. Thirdly, you can take your e-book with you wherever you go. It is also useful during long journeys. Paper books may be large and heavy, and you can’t take a lot of such books with you.
But I can’t but mention that e-books also have their disadvantages. And one of them is that the e-book can get discharged. Besides, if you lose your e-book, you will lose all the books that were on it, which you wanted to read.
But, if you lose a paper book, you can buy the same one again. Even if you take care of the e-book, it can break while the book made of paper can’t break, but you should keep in mind that its page it can torn.
In conclusion, I would like to say that, taking all this into consideration, I, nevertheless, consider that the e-book is much better. But, of course, tastes differ.

Но я не могу не отметить, что электронная книга имеет недостатки. И один из них то, что элю книга может разрядиться. Ещё, если ты потеряешь свою электронную книгу, то ты потеряешь все книги, которые были на ней и те, что ты хотел прочитать. А если ты теряешь обычную книгу, ты можешь купить такую ещё раз. Даже если ты будешь заботиться о своей электронной книге, она может сломаться, в то время как, книга из бумаги не может сломаться, но ты должен понимать, что страница может порваться.
В заключение я хотела бы сказать, что, учитывая все это, я, тем не менее, считаю, что электронная книга намного лучше. Но на вкус и цвет товарища нет.
