    Ты, то что ты ешь! Можем мы ли мы питаться правильно? Мы можем встретить кафе и рестораны на каждом углу. Поэтому, фаст фуд так популярна среди взрослых людей, но в большинстве случаев, среди детей. Но как эта еда влияет на здоровье?
    Почему люди предпочитают фаст фуд? Во-первых, это хорошая возможность перекусить, когда у тебя нет достаточно времени. Эта еда готовится очень быстро и вам не нужно ждать долго и быть голодными. Во-вторых, фаст фуд не дорогая еда и вы можете купить ее везде. Если ты хочешь кушать, тебе не надо платить много денег. В-третьих, фаст фуд вкусна и питательна.
    Но некоторые люди не едят фаст фуд. Они думают, что это нездоровая пища и вредна для здоровья. Эта еда состоит из холестерина, из-за этого люди, которые часто едят ее, страдают ожирением и склонны к сердечным болезням, болезням желудка и некоторым другим проблемам.
    Мы должны понять, что еда – это важная часть нашей жизни. Нам следует выбирать здоровую пищу, которая не вредна для нас. Я против фаст фуда, но иногда я могу позволить себе перекусить, когда я ужасно голодна и не располагаю средствами, чтобы покушать правильно. Пища должна быть полезной, а фаст фуд разрушает наше здоровье, а мы знаем что “здоровье это величайшее богатство”.

Lots of people think that fast food is the best solution in this situation. That’s why fast-food chains have become so popular. They provide simple menus, which usually contain French fries, hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, milk cocktails, brownies and else. Perhaps the most famous fast-food chain is McDonalds. This place is rather popular among children and grown-ups. People like having food which is cooked beforehand and served quickly. However, doctors all over the world find fast food rather unhealthy. They say that fast food contains many calories, lots of fat and just a few vitamins. They also say that eating fast food every day leads to overweight and stomach problems. Luckily, people today are more health-conscious than before and they realize that eating lots of fast food can be dangerous. The question about fast food always brings up many opinions. Some people state that it’s not bad at all. Usually those people have lots of work to do during weekdays and fast food is a good idea for lunch. Children are also among those who like fast-food chains. They especially like getting toys with their meal. McDonalds was the first restaurant to use this strategy. Others avoid eating fast food because it can lead to the following health problems: high blood pressure, heart diseases and obesity. In conclusion, I’d like to say that everyone has a choice. I choose fresh fruit and vegetables. That’s why when I’m at a fast-food restaurant I order a salad and an orange juice.Современная жизнь протекает так быстро, что людям часто не хватает времени, чтобы поесть.   9. What does the word “food” mean to you? Is it a pleasure or just a fuel? This question has been disputable for a long time and everybody has his personal opinion about it. The majority of people would agree that we eat in order to have enough energy to complete our routine tasks. Nevertheless, nobody would agree to eat the same set of products from day to day. Moreover, food is certainly more than just a number of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. It’s the way to get some satisfaction after a long working day for the vast majority of people.
    As for me, I can’t say that food is just a fuel but it’s surely not a religion in my house. I suppose I have traditional meals such as breakfast, lunch and dinner, but I can have several snacks between my meals as well if I get hungry. I’m trying to keep a healthy diet, so my breakfast usually includes cereals with yogurt or oatmeal with eggs. Also, I can add some fruit to my breakfast, but I always drink a cup of coffee in the morning. It helps me to wake up and be ready for the day. I usually have lunch in the canteen at school, so it depends on what they offer there.
    Dinner is a family meal. We usually get together in the evening when my parents come back from work. My mother is an excellent cook and I really like all the dishes she makes. We usually eat some fish or meat with vegetables or porridge for dinner. I can’t cook that well, but I have a number of specialties that I usually make for holidays. They are some salads and cakes.
    At weekends my friends and I go to the cafe or pizzeria to eat out. It’s a good way to enjoy delicious food and communicate with the people I care about at the same time. We prefer to order some salads and pizza, drink different kinds of non-alcoholic cocktails.
    Thus, I’m sure that food can bring us some kind of pleasure, but I don’t consider it the sense of our life. So we should eat to live but not live to eat.

Тем не менее, никто не согласится употреблять одну и ту же пищу изо дня в день. Более того, еда — это, конечно, более чем просто набор белков, жиров и углеводов. Это способ получить удовольствие после длинного рабочего дня для преимущественного большинства людей.
    Что касается меня, то я не могу сказать, что еда — это только топливо, но я и не делаю культа из нее. Я думаю, у меня достаточно традиционные приемы пищи, такие как завтрак, обед и ужин, но я могу пару раз перекусить между приемами пищи, если проголодаюсь. Я стараюсь придерживаться здорового питания, поэтому мой завтрак обычно включает хлопья с йогуртом или овсянку с яйцами. Также я могу добавить фрукты к моему завтраку, и я всегда пью чашку кофе утром. Это помогает мне проснуться и подготовиться ко дню.   10. People in developed countries suffer from illnesses resulting from junk food. And doctors say the problem is only going to get worse. As many women work nowadays, parents in general have less time to spend on preparing food.
    That`s not just the cooking, but also planning what to eat, doing the shopping and buying fresh food. Families, therefore, increasingly rely on ready made meal, which is high in fat and contain a lot of additives and sugar. It is said that people today have unhealthy diets because of fast food restaurants. Most people only go to a fast food restaurant for a special treat. There is no problem eating fast food if you only do this occasionally.
    For many families, they only go to fast food restaurants for children`s parties or special occasions so fast food restaurants cannot be held responsible for unhealthy diets. In fact they are excellent places for families to go to. It is clear that fast food restaurants are having a terrible effect on our cities and towns. It is impossible to go info the city centre without seeing rubbish from fast food restaurants everywhere. The main problem is that they use too much packaging and people just throw this in the streets.
    There is some truth in the statement that fast food restaurants are bad for society. If people only go to fast food restaurants, then traditional restaurants might close. This is because they have more expensive prices and because people prefer fast food. It is important that people eat in both fast food restaurants and restaurants which serve their national cuisine. It depends on what is meant by society.
    Fast food restaurants are very important for young people. There are not many places where they can go out with their friends. It seems to me that fast food restaurants are having a negative effect on society. When people start eating fast food, they get used to eating lots of sugar and salt. This results in people changing their diets and eating with more salt and sugar at home; which is very unhealthy.

Считается, что люди в наше время имеют нездоровый рацион питания, потому что часто обедают в ресторанах быстрого питания, но далеко не факт, что дело именно в этом. Большинство людей только иногда посещают рестораны быстрого питания. И нет проблемы, если вы употребляете такую пищу нерегулярно.
    Для многих семей кафе быстрого питания – это место для проведения детских праздников, так что рестораны быстрого питания не могут быть ответственными за ваш рацион питания. На самом деле они являются отличными местами для посещения всей семьей. Хотя очевидно, что такие места оказывают страшное влияние на наши города. Кажется, где бы вы ни оказались в своем городе, повсюду можно увидеть выброшенные упаковки из-под еды быстрого питания. А всё потому, что “быстрая еда” намного дешевле, хорошо разрекламирована и вкусна. Это важно, чтобы люди выбирали в качестве места, где можно поесть, традиционные рестораны и национальную кухню. Это зависит от того, что собой представляет определённое общество.
    Рестораны быстрого питания очень важны для молодых людей и подростков, так как такие места весьма доступны для них и являются местом встречи с друзьями. Но в целом, мне кажется, что рестораны быстрого питания оказывают негативное влияние на общество. Когда люди начинают есть еду быстрого питания, они привыкают к этим вкусовым ощущениям, и потребляют избыточное количество соли и сахара. В результате люди меняют свой рацион питания и принимают с пищей большое количество соли и сахара даже в домашних условиях, что очень вредно для здоровья.
