В мире не так уж много людей, кем бы я могла восхищаться. Вокруг меня есть много друзей, одноклассников, соседей и родственников, которым я очень благодарна. Но есть буквально несколько человек, на которых я бы хотела быть похожа или кем могу восхищаться.
Мои дедушка и бабушка сделали много всего хорошего и по-настоящему важного для всей семьи. Но есть бесконечное количество поступков, за которые я благодарна. Но восхищаюсь я именно тем, что знаю их и являюсь частью их семьи.
Много лет тому назад во время Второй Мировой Войны мой прадед спас целую деревню. Он был ещё молодым мальчуганом и любил гулять по местности. Он жил в деревне, поэтому, знал каждый угол там. Когда началась война, мой прадед собрал около 30 человек и отвёл в лес. Среди них было около 15 ребятишек. Они могли умереть во время войны, но Петр (мой прадед) принёс им немного еды и помог добраться до родственников в ближайшие деревни.
Эта история стала для меня очень интересной. Моя бабуля рассказывала мне ее много раз, а я всегда слушала. Он настоящий герой для меня. Я очень восхищаюсь им.

People Admired
Everyone has role models while growing up and most people’s role models continue to play an inspirational part in their lives until they die. There have been so many people in my life that have helped to mold my character. It is amazing the wide variety of people I admire in my life. My admired are comprised of many influential beings. Narrowing down the list of admired people in my life to ten was a very strenuous activity. Though the list is varied all ten of these people have one similarity which is that they continue to encourage me to better my lifestyle.
Inside the group of ten people I hold in highest regard there are three women. The important women in my life almost all play the same role. The three women all happen to be members of my family. Sense they are all members of my family they were responsible for instilling values into me and setting a positive example for me. All of them have had success in their work fields and have so far had a very successful life. Of course the fact that these three people are women means that they tend to be more concerned with my feelings and emotions. My mom, grandmother, and my sister are always the people I run to when I am struggling in life and need moral support.
Being that I am a typical male the majority of my list of most respected people happen to be male. All of the males in my group are over the age thirty. The bulk of the males in my list are classified as middle aged men. Two of the men In my list are considered to be senior citizens. The males that are encompassed in my list are what gives my list its variety.
Three of the individuals in my list are considered to be celebrities whom I do not personally know. It is only through the media and hobby that our paths have crossed. Two of the stars happen to be athletes. My soccer coach also happens to be one of the people I admire the most.

However, he didn’t get dispirited, he didn’t lose faith in himself and his ideas. On the contrary, he rose through his work and he never wavered in his devotion to equality. He went through terrible provocations, but never answered racism with racism.
Everybody in his country knew that this peaceful transition from inhumane conditions to egalitarian society was Nelson Mandela’s achievement. I would like to tell you about my friends. I have a lot of them, but my close friend is Marina. She is my school-mate. We have been studying together in one form all the eleven years of our school-life.
She is 17. We have nothing in common in appearance. Marina is pretty in her own way. She is thin and slender, not very tall. Her hair is red and straight, her face is oval and her forehead is high. She has a turn-up nose and beautiful green eyes with bushy eyelashes.
Marina is as good as gold. Warm-hearted and gentle, quiet and well-bred. Everyone loves her. She is always well dressed and neat. She is always ready to help people, when they are in need.
Marina is the only daughter of her parents and they adore her. Nevertheless she is not selfish. I like to be around her, because she knows a lot of interesting stories, funny jokes.
She is fond of reading. Marina goes in for sports. She plays tennis and swims. She does well at school and it seems to me that all the subjects come equally easy to her.
This year she is leaving school and has chosen medicine as future profession. I hope she will make a good doctor. We always meet at the weekends. We discuss books, listen to the music or visit our friends. I always enjoy the time spent together.
I am happy to have such a friend as Marina. I am sure we shall be friends forever.

Hundreds of new concepts, hundreds of new words have appeared in the language in the years that have passed since his death, but not a single word of his poetry has become obsolete. We admire the great world of Pushkin’s poetry as a whole, each of us finding some special lines for ourselves, lines showing his sympathy and respect for his people. The reader cannot imagine his inner world without him.

Каждое лето в июне, тысячи людей посещают Псковскую землю. Они приезжают сюда в село Михайловское на замечательный фестиваль поэзии, посмотреть места, где он жил и работал.
Пушкин всегда жив для нас, он — человек, которого все мы знаем и любим, величайший из поэтов. Поколения приходят и уходят, но Пушкин остается. Мы все благодарны Пушкину за каждую строчку его произведений. Пушкин для нас не только великий поэт. Он — прекрасный человек, совмещающий блестящий талант с гражданским мужеством. Его имя ассоциируется с нашей любовью к Родине, и всем лучшим в нашей жизни.

Мужество человека определяется смелыми действиями, приводящими либо к приобретению, либо к утрате. Именно эта черта характера восхищает других людей. Страх у лидеров прячется глубоко внутрь, когда появляется шанс изменить историю. Мысли о неудачи невозможно перешагнуть, но их можно затмить желанием изменить настоящее. Не важно где ты родился и какого цвета твоя кожа, сколько тебе лет и какая у тебя профессия. Важно, что человек определяется лишь поступками, которые сам осмелился совершить.
Человек, совершающий прорыв, несет ответственность не только за себя, но и за тех людей, которые стоят за ним. Благодаря «первым» людям начинаешь гордиться страной, в которой живешь. Появляется неопределимое желание к новым, никому не изведанным свершениям. Гагарин ассоциируется теперь не только с космосом, но и с любым начинанием. Если ты первый, то ты Гагарин. Понимаешь, что во многих школах и на разных языках будут восхищаться его стойким характером и светлой улыбкой. Передавать историю из поколения в поколения, как обычный человек решил сразиться с неизвестностью для осознания своего предназначения на этой Земле. Его фразы стали крылатыми: простые слова, которые сквозь призму эпохи приближают нас к уникальному человеку. И каждый уважающий себя житель планеты чувствует себя частью чего-то великого, кусочком необъятной Земли, одним сердцем, единым народом. I think that every person admires someone. In fact, it is useful to look up to someone with good qualities or worthy deeds. Most young people find idols in cinema or music sphere, but my hero is a public figure, who has changed to better lives of many people in his country. It’s Nelson Mandela. He was a South African anti-apartheid politician and philanthropist. Before the abrogation of apartheid South Africa was a horrible to live. The country was characterized by conflict, unspeakable suffering and inconceivable injustice. Society was in deep crisis and discrimination ruled everywhere. People, who didn’t have white color of skin, were underprivileged in any sphere of life, including education, medicine, political voice and any other human rights. Apartheid was disassembled in 1994 with the first democratic president elections, when Nelson Mandela won the campaign. He was the President of South Africa for five years, during which his government constantly fought racism, poverty and inequality. He was also the President of the African National Congress for eight years. I admire this man’s courage and yearning for justice. I know that he spent 27 years of his life in prison. However, he didn’t get dispirited, he didn’t lose faith in himself and his ideas. On the contrary, he rose through his work and he never wavered in his devotion to equality. He went through terrible provocations, but never answered racism with racism. Everybody in his country knew that this peaceful transition from inhumane conditions to egalitarian society was Nelson Mandela’s achievement. Soon he became a role model for the whole country and a favorite leader of all times. Even today after his death in 2013, he is well-remembered and respected.

I would like to tell you about my friends. I have a lot of them, but my close friend is Marina. She is my school-mate. We have been studying together in one form all the eleven years of our school-life.
She is 17. We have nothing in common in appearance. Marina is pretty in her own way. She is thin and slender, not very tall. Her hair is red and straight, her face is oval and her forehead is high. She has a turn-up nose and beautiful green eyes with bushy eyelashes.
Marina is as good as gold. Warm-hearted and gentle, quiet and well-bred. Everyone loves her. She is always well dressed and neat. She is always ready to help people, when they are in need.
Marina is the only daughter of her parents and they adore her. Nevertheless she is not selfish. I like to be around her, because she knows a lot of interesting stories, funny jokes.
She is fond of reading. Marina goes in for sports. She plays tennis and swims. She does well at school and it seems to me that all the subjects come equally easy to her.
This year she is leaving school and has chosen medicine as future profession. I hope she will make a good doctor. We always meet at the weekends. We discuss books, listen to the music or visit our friends. I always enjoy the time spent together.
I am happy to have such a friend as Marina. I am sure we shall be friends forever.
