There are four seasons in a year and all of them are good in their own way. However, the season I like most of all is summer.
First of all, it is a holiday time and I have enough spare time for my favorite activities and hobbies. I can go for a walk with my friends, ride a bike, play football and do some other fun activities.
Moreover, the weather in summer is fantastic. It is sunny and warm. So I can spend the whole day outside.

July I normally spend with my grandparents in the countryside. They have a small country house not far from Moscow. The air is really fresh there. My granny has a small garden and I enjoy an opportunity to eat fresh vegetables, fruit, and berries every day. Sometimes I go fishing with my grandfather. But mostly I spend time with my friends. When the days are especially hot we tend to swim in the lake. Besides, we can play different games together, so I never get bored there.

In August we normally go on holiday to the seaside with my parents. I really enjoy swimming, sunbathing as well as playing beach volleyball and badminton. Spending several weeks at the seaside is an ideal way to relax for me.
I believe that all children love summer because they do not have to wake up early, go to school and do homework. It is the time when pupils can have a rest from a tough academic year.

Every season is beautiful. It may have its own advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, the attitude to a particular season mostly depends on circumstances. For example, most pupils like summer because they have long holidays in summer.

Maybe, it seems to be a bit trivial but I like summer most of all. It is the time of holidays, endless walks and travels. I like warm weather and it is something that summer can bring with it in Russia. Of course, sometimes the weather is so hot that it is unbearable. However I do not care.

In summer I like to travel. Usually I go to the sea and spend there about two weeks. I like swimming and sun-bathing. If it rains, I can go on an excursion or something like that. Traveling is something that inspires me and summer is an ideal season for doing that because you do not think about work or school and the weather does not change frequently.

My Favourite Season is Summer
There are four seasons in a year: summer, autumn, winter and spring. All seasons are good in their own way. Winter, for example, is full of celebrations, presents and snow. Spring is the time of nature awakening and flower blooming. Autumn can be rainy and yet beautiful, full of multi-coloured leaves.
My favourite season is summer. I choose summer not only because my birthday is in July, but also because it’s the time of holidays. Summer is the season when the sun shines brightly, the sky is rarely cloudy and the water in the sea becomes warm enough to swim. Even if it becomes too hot, you can always go for a walk in the shady woods. I also like summer because there are many berries, fruit and vegetables, not to mention numerous flowers on the fields. Among them roses, daisies, dandelions and other flowers. Sometimes the air in summer becomes stuffy, but occasional thunderstorms bring relief. After the thunderstorms the air becomes remarkably fresh and very often we can see the rainbow in the sky.
Summer is also the time when I and my family go on holiday to the seaside. It’s a wonderful time, when we can have a rest from the intense academic year and relax. I think all children love summer because of long school holidays and I’m no exception. I also enjoy my free time, playing with my friends, reading, and doing other fun activities. Summer – my favourite season
Some admire generous autumn, others like merry snowy winter, many of us enjoy drippingsnow but I love summer!
We have the longest holidays in summer! There is no necessity at all to get up early. Neither lessons nor hometasks! You may do what you want: to swim all day long or go to the forest to gather berries! And so it is during three long wonderful months of the best season!
And what bright colours summer has!
It is a pleasure to the eyes the wild verdure of trees and grass, the gold of sunrays, the bright- blue sky with the white clouds on it. And have you ever been in the fields in summer? How many colourful flowers you can see there! So, you couldn`t take your eyes off this beauty!
And bright juicy apricots, plumps, raspberries cry out to be eaten!
In summer all students have holidays. They go to the sea, rest there and gain strength for a new academic year. This summer I have been to the seaside. I was admired how changeable the sea was! In a minute it could change its colour; from limpid- blue up to dirty – brown. But nevertheless it was fine! I would like to come back here again and again!

My Favourite Season — Autumn
I like autumn very much. The autumn months are: September, October, November.
In September summer yields to autumn. The days become shorter and the nights become longer. The sun rays are not so bright and warm. The fruit trees that not long ago bloomed with flowers are heavy with juicy apples and pears. Harvest time is a rush season for farmers. They gather sunflowers and maize, potatoes and cabbage, turnip and cucumbers, carrots and tomatoes. Early autumn is the period of flaming colours, when the landscape is gold and brown. In the daytime the silver gossamer is flying in the air. It’s a sign of the beautiful “Indian Summer”. But unfortunately this period of fine weather is very short and deep autumn follows it.
October is the best month for planting trees. People also prepare for winter. It is a season when the trees are fantastic — yellow, red, green and brown. The trees are loosing their leaves. Now the ground is like a carpet of many colours. It gets dark earlier and often heavy clouds cover the sky bringing rain. Birds don’t sing their songs. They begin to leave for warm countries.
November is the month of fog, rain and snow. Animals put on their winter coats. The landscape becomes rather dull.Nature slowly falls asleep for winter.
They say that autumn is a season of poets and philosophers, that’s why I really like it.

Плодовые деревья, которые не так давно ещё цвели, становятся тяжелыми от сочных яблок и груш. Сбор урожая — пик сезона для фермеров. Они собирают подсолнечник и кукурузу, картофель и капусту, репу, огурцы, морковь и помидоры. Ранняя осень — период ярких красок, когда всё вокруг становится золотым и коричневым. Днём серебряные паутинки летают в воздухе. Это признак прекрасного «Бабьего лета». Но, к сожалению, этот период прекрасной погоды очень короткий и за ним следует глубокая осень.
Октябрь — самый лучший месяц для посадки деревьев. Люди также готовятся к зиме. Это время, когда деревья фантастические — желтые, красные, зеленые и коричневые. Деревья теряют листья. Теперь земля похожа на разноцветный ковер. Темнеет раньше и часто тяжелые тучи покрывают небо, принося дождь. Птицы не поют свои песни. Они начинают улетать в теплые страны.
Ноябрь — месяц туманов, дождя и снега. Животные одеваются в зимние шкуры. Пейзаж становится довольно скучным. Природа медленно засыпает.
Говорят, что осень — пора поэтов и философов, и поэтому она мне очень нравится.
My Favourite Season — Winter
My favourite season is winter. Winter is a beautiful season. Some people like summer or autumn, but I am fond of winter. Winter months are December, January and February. But in Tatarstan the winter begins in November and ends in March or April.
I always look forward to this season. In winter the ground and trees are white with snow which crunches under your feet. The rime sparkles on the branches and the icicles like precious diamonds hang down from the roofs of the houses.
Winter is a great time for children! The children like to play hockey, skate and sledge, but I prefer skiing. It`s so nice toski in the wood on a frosty sunny day! Sometimes I with my friends have a fight with snowballs or make a snowman.
When winter is over, I am always sorry, that it was too short and has passed so quickly. And then I begin to look forward to the next winter.

The ground is covered with fresh green grass and the first spring flowers. How lovely the white snowdrops are! There are new leaves and blossoms on the trees. The birds begin to sing and build their nests. The air is fresh and the sun shines brightly. The days are warm and everything is full of life and joy. Everybody feels younger and stronger.
Many people like spring more than other seasons. It is very pleasant to watch how the nature awakens from the winter sleep.
In spring we can go to the country and have a walk in the woods or by the river, play ball-games, lie in the sun and even have a swim if the water is warm enough.
That is why I like spring more than any other season of the year.

My favourite seasons spring, summer, autumn, winter
As you know we have four seasons in our country: winter, spring, summer and autumn. All of them are great in their own way. In winter we have a lot of snow, holidays and gifts. Spring is full of new life and warmth. I like autumn because of multi-colored leaves and rainy weather. But my favorite season is summer.
In summer everything is full of colors, neat and clean. There is no mud under your feet and it seems that nothing can spoil your mood. It’s the season of adventures. Every day the sun shines brightly, the sky is rarely cloudy and the water is warm enough to swim. I love spending my free time outside and this season is excellent for camping with friends in the mountains and viewing numerous flowers on the fields. I think my favorites are daisies, chamomiles and violets. Summer is the hottest and driest season in the year, but occasional
thunderstorms bring relief. Before the thunderstorm, the air becomes notably fresh, and after it, one can see a beautiful rainbow in the sky.
Also, I like summer because you can enjoy eating healthy food like berries, fruits and vegetables, not to mention that you can eat ice-cream every day and make BBQ in the backyard.
It’s just a wonderful time to have a rest from the intense year and take a necessary vacation. Every summer my family and I choose two weeks to spend them together in a new place. Usually, we travel to different countries because we like meeting new people and making new friends.

Season of the year to me
It’s difficult to say which season of the year is my favourite since each of them has its own charm and beauty.
Winter
I like winter because snow is amazing — especially being indoors with a fireplace watching it, but going outside and playing in the snow is still great. You’re never too old for it. Plus, it’s just beautiful and there’s a particular bite in the air when the temperature gets down below a certain point. I still get excited whenever I see a snowy-weather sky. I really love the New Year, so winter is among my favourites.
Spring
Spring is also beautiful. After the harsh winters it’s such a blessing to see the leaves coming back on the trees, the flowers starting to bloom again to smell the refreshing breezes of spring, the beautiful, colorful birds coming back and to feel the warm breezes of spring on my face.
Summer
I don’t very much like summer though because of the heat you can’t escape from.
Fall or autumn
But I think my favorite season of the year has got to be fall. In the fall, we typically still have nice warm and sunny weather, but the leaves and landscapes are changing from a more green color to shades of gold, orange, red and brown. Also, depending on what country you live in, fall brings lower temperatures and does away with the very hot days that are often spent sitting outside sunbathing or inside to avoid the heat wave. Fall allows people to bond by going for comfortable walks and enjoying each other’s company in the comfort of the still warm weather and the beautiful landscapes.It is so wonderful when the air turns more crisp and cool after the heat of summer. The fall wild flowers bloom and there are fields of sunflowers everywhere. It’s just about the best season all around. From most favorite to least favorite it runs like this for me: fall, spring, winter, summer.

First of all, it is a holiday time and I have enough spare time for my favorite activities and hobbies. I can go for a walk with my friends, ride a bike, play football and do some other fun activities.
Moreover, the weather in summer is fantastic. It is sunny and warm. So I can spend the whole day outside.

July I normally spend with my grandparents in the countryside. They have a small country house not far from Moscow. The air is really fresh there. My granny has a small garden and I enjoy an opportunity to eat fresh vegetables, fruit, and berries every day. Sometimes I go fishing with my grandfather. But mostly I spend time with my friends. When the days are especially hot we tend to swim in the lake. Besides, we can play different games together, so I never get bored there.

In August we normally go on holiday to the seaside with my parents. I really enjoy swimming, sunbathing as well as playing beach volleyball and badminton. Spending several weeks at the seaside is an ideal way to relax for me.
I believe that all children love summer because they do not have to wake up early, go to school and do homework. It is the time when pupils can have a rest from a tough academic year.

Every season is beautiful. It may have its own advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, the attitude to a particular season mostly depends on circumstances. For example, most pupils like summer because they have long holidays in summer.

Maybe, it seems to be a bit trivial but I like summer most of all. It is the time of holidays, endless walks and travels. I like warm weather and it is something that summer can bring with it in Russia. Of course, sometimes the weather is so hot that it is unbearable. However I do not care.

My Favourite Season is Summer
There are four seasons in a year: summer, autumn, winter and spring. All seasons are good in their own way. Winter, for example, is full of celebrations, presents and snow. Spring is the time of nature awakening and flower blooming. Autumn can be rainy and yet beautiful, full of multi-coloured leaves.
My favourite season is summer. I choose summer not only because my birthday is in July, but also because it’s the time of holidays. Summer is the season when the sun shines brightly, the sky is rarely cloudy and the water in the sea becomes warm enough to swim. Even if it becomes too hot, you can always go for a walk in the shady woods. I also like summer because there are many berries, fruit and vegetables, not to mention numerous flowers on the fields. Among them roses, daisies, dandelions and other flowers. Sometimes the air in summer becomes stuffy, but occasional thunderstorms bring relief. After the thunderstorms the air becomes remarkably fresh and very often we can see the rainbow in the sky.
Summer is also the time when I and my family go on holiday to the seaside. It’s a wonderful time, when we can have a rest from the intense academic year and relax. I think all children love summer because of long school holidays and I’m no exception. I also enjoy my free time, playing with my friends, reading, and doing other fun activities. Nevertheless, I don’t forget to do some useful reading from time to time.

Summer – my favourite season
Some admire generous autumn, others like merry snowy winter, many of us enjoy drippingsnow but I love summer!
We have the longest holidays in summer! There is no necessity at all to get up early. Neither lessons nor hometasks! You may do what you want: to swim all day long or go to the forest to gather berries! And so it is during three long wonderful months of the best season!
And what bright colours summer has!
It is a pleasure to the eyes the wild verdure of trees and grass, the gold of sunrays, the bright- blue sky with the white clouds on it. And have you ever been in the fields in summer? How many colourful flowers you can see there! So, you couldn`t take your eyes off this beauty!
And bright juicy apricots, plumps, raspberries cry out to be eaten!
In summer all students have holidays. They go to the sea, rest there and gain strength for a new academic year. This summer I have been to the seaside. I was admired how changeable the sea was! In a minute it could change its colour; from limpid- blue up to dirty – brown. But nevertheless it was fine! I would like to come back here again and again!
I like summer because I can see very often the rainbow. And the summer itself is the real rainbow of colours!

My Favourite Season — Autumn
I like autumn very much. The autumn months are: September, October, November.
In September summer yields to autumn. The days become shorter and the nights become longer. The sun rays are not so bright and warm. The fruit trees that not long ago bloomed with flowers are heavy with juicy apples and pears. Harvest time is a rush season for farmers. They gather sunflowers and maize, potatoes and cabbage, turnip and cucumbers, carrots and tomatoes. Early autumn is the period of flaming colours, when the landscape is gold and brown. In the daytime the silver gossamer is flying in the air. It’s a sign of the beautiful “Indian Summer”. But unfortunately this period of fine weather is very short and deep autumn follows it.
October is the best month for planting trees. People also prepare for winter. It is a season when the trees are fantastic — yellow, red, green and brown. The trees are loosing their leaves. Now the ground is like a carpet of many colours. It gets dark earlier and often heavy clouds cover the sky bringing rain. Birds don’t sing their songs. They begin to leave for warm countries.
November is the month of fog, rain and snow. Animals put on their winter coats. The landscape becomes rather dull.Nature slowly falls asleep for winter.

Я очень люблю осень. Осенние месяцы: сентябрь, октябрь, ноябрь.
В сентябре лето дает дорогу осени. Дни становятся короче, а ночи становятся длиннее. Солнечные лучи не такие яркие и теплые. Плодовые деревья, которые не так давно ещё цвели, становятся тяжелыми от сочных яблок и груш. Сбор урожая — пик сезона для фермеров. Они собирают подсолнечник и кукурузу, картофель и капусту, репу, огурцы, морковь и помидоры. Ранняя осень — период ярких красок, когда всё вокруг становится золотым и коричневым. Днём серебряные паутинки летают в воздухе. Это признак прекрасного «Бабьего лета». Но, к сожалению, этот период прекрасной погоды очень короткий и за ним следует глубокая осень.
Октябрь — самый лучший месяц для посадки деревьев. Люди также готовятся к зиме. Это время, когда деревья фантастические — желтые, красные, зеленые и коричневые. Деревья теряют листья. Теперь земля похожа на разноцветный ковер. Темнеет раньше и часто тяжелые тучи покрывают небо, принося дождь. Птицы не поют свои песни. Они начинают улетать в теплые страны.
Ноябрь — месяц туманов, дождя и снега. Животные одеваются в зимние шкуры. Пейзаж становится довольно скучным. Природа медленно засыпает.
Говорят, что осень — пора поэтов и философов, и поэтому она мне очень нравится.
My Favourite Season — Winter
My favourite season is winter. Winter is a beautiful season. Some people like summer or autumn, but I am fond of winter. Winter months are December, January and February. But in Tatarstan the winter begins in November and ends in March or April.
I always look forward to this season. In winter the ground and trees are white with snow which crunches under your feet. The rime sparkles on the branches and the icicles like precious diamonds hang down from the roofs of the houses.
Winter is a great time for children! The children like to play hockey, skate and sledge, but I prefer skiing. It`s so nice toski in the wood on a frosty sunny day! Sometimes I with my friends have a fight with snowballs or make a snowman.
When winter is over, I am always sorry, that it was too short and has passed so quickly. And then I begin to look forward to the next winter.

Мое любимое время года это зима. Зима красивое время года. Некоторые люди любят лето или осень, но я обожаю зиму. Зимние месяцы это декабрь, январь и февраль. Но зима в Татарстане начинается в ноябре и заканчивается в марте или апреле.
Я всегда с нетерпением жду это время года. Зимой земля и деревья белые от снега, который хрустит под ногами. Иней сверкает на ветках и сосульки подобно драгоценным алмазам свисают с крыш домов. Зима великолепное время для детей! Дети любят играть в хоккей, кататься на коньках и санках, но я предпочитаю в морозный солнечный день кататься в лесу на лыжах.Иногда я со своими друзьями играю в снежки или делаю снеговика.
Кода зима заканчивается, я всегда жалею, что она была такая короткая и так быстро прошла. И я начинаю с нетерпением ждать следующую зиму.
My Favourite Season — Spring
I love spring. It is a wonderful season. Spring comes and nature awakens from its winter sleep. The days become longer and the nights become shorter.
The ground is covered with fresh green grass and the first spring flowers. How lovely the white snowdrops are! There are new leaves and blossoms on the trees. The birds begin to sing and build their nests. The air is fresh and the sun shines brightly. The days are warm and everything is full of life and joy. Everybody feels younger and stronger.
Many people like spring more than other seasons. It is very pleasant to watch how the nature awakens from the winter sleep.
In spring we can go to the country and have a walk in the woods or by the river, play ball-games, lie in the sun and even have a swim if the water is warm enough.
That is why I like spring more than any other season of the year.

Я люблю весну. Это прекрасное время года. Весна приходит и природа просыпается от зимней спячки. Дни становятся длиннее, а ночи становятся короче.
Земля покрыта свежей зеленой травой и появляются первые весенние цветы. Какая прелесть эти белые подснежники! Появляются новые листья и цветы на деревьях. Птицы начинают петь и строить свои гнезда. Воздух свеж, и ярко светит солнце. Дни теплые и все полно жизни и радости. Каждый чувствует себя моложе и сильнее.
Многие люди любят весну больше, чем другие времена года. Очень приятно наблюдать, как природа просыпается от зимнего сна. Весной мы можем поехать за город и прогулятся в лесу или по берегу реки, играть в игры с мячом, полежать на солнце и даже поплавать, если вода достаточно теплая.
Вот почему я люблю весну больше, чем любое другое время года.
My favourite seasons spring, summer, autumn, winter
As you know we have four seasons in our country: winter, spring, summer and autumn. All of them are great in their own way. In winter we have a lot of snow, holidays and gifts. Spring is full of new life and warmth. I like autumn because of multi-colored leaves and rainy weather. But my favorite season is summer.
In summer everything is full of colors, neat and clean. There is no mud under your feet and it seems that nothing can spoil your mood. It’s the season of adventures. Every day the sun shines brightly, the sky is rarely cloudy and the water is warm enough to swim. I love spending my free time outside and this season is excellent for camping with friends in the mountains and viewing numerous flowers on the fields. I think my favorites are daisies, chamomiles and violets. Summer is the hottest and driest season in the year, but occasional
thunderstorms bring relief. Before the thunderstorm, the air becomes notably fresh, and after it, one can see a beautiful rainbow in the sky.
Also, I like summer because you can enjoy eating healthy food like berries, fruits and vegetables, not to mention that you can eat ice-cream every day and make BBQ in the backyard.
It’s just a wonderful time to have a rest from the intense year and take a necessary vacation. Every summer my family and I choose two weeks to spend them together in a new place. Usually, we travel to different countries because we like meeting new people and making new friends.

Я не очень люблю лето из-за жары, от которой не спрячешься.
Осень
Но я думаю, мое самое любимое время года – осень. Осенью погода еще в большинстве своем теплая и солнечная, а листья на деревьях меняют свой цвет с зеленого на золотой, рыжий, красный и коричневый. В зависимости от того, в какой стране вы живете, осень приносит с собой прохладу и прощается с изнуряющими жаркими летними днями, когда трудно укрыться от палящего солнца. Осень позволяет нам проводить больше времени вместе, ходить на долгие прогулки и наслаждаться компанией друг друга и окружающими пейзажами в теплый погожий день. Мне также нравится, когда воздух становится прохладным после летней жары и в нем чувствуется приближение зимы. Осенние цветы распускаются и повсюду в полях можно видеть подсолнухи. Я думаю, осень лучшее время года. Если бы меня попросили распределить времена года от любимого до нелюбимого, я бы сделала это так: осень, зима, весна, лето.

Season of the year to me
It’s difficult to say which season of the year is my favourite since each of them has its own charm and beauty.
Winter
I like winter because snow is amazing — especially being indoors with a fireplace watching it, but going outside and playing in the snow is still great. You’re never too old for it. Plus, it’s just beautiful and there’s a particular bite in the air when the temperature gets down below a certain point. I still get excited whenever I see a snowy-weather sky. I really love the New Year, so winter is among my favourites.
Spring
Spring is also beautiful. After the harsh winters it’s such a blessing to see the leaves coming back on the trees, the flowers starting to bloom again to smell the refreshing breezes of spring, the beautiful, colorful birds coming back and to feel the warm breezes of spring on my face.
Summer
I don’t very much like summer though because of the heat you can’t escape from.
Fall or autumn
But I think my favorite season of the year has got to be fall. In the fall, we typically still have nice warm and sunny weather, but the leaves and landscapes are changing from a more green color to shades of gold, orange, red and brown. Also, depending on what country you live in, fall brings lower temperatures and does away with the very hot days that are often spent sitting outside sunbathing or inside to avoid the heat wave. Fall allows people to bond by going for comfortable walks and enjoying each other’s company in the comfort of the still warm weather and the beautiful landscapes.It is so wonderful when the air turns more crisp and cool after the heat of summer. The fall wild flowers bloom and there are fields of sunflowers everywhere. It’s just about the best season all around. From most favorite to least favorite it runs like this for me: fall, spring, winter, summer.
