David Duchovny was born in New York City on the 7th of August, 1960.
His father is a writer and his mother is a housewife. Before David was bom his parents had been English teachers. When his parents divorced, David was raised by his mother, along with his sister Laurie and his brother Daniel.
David went to a prestigious private school in Manhattan. “He was a very bright kid with a brilliant sense of humour,” his father remembers. “At school he was always top of the class.” After school he entered Princeton University. David’s first year in Hollywood was very hard. He was unemployed and could hardly make both ends meet. Luckily, he was invited to play in a commercial and later in a feature film. “Acting gave me a sense of team and I liked this very much,” David says.
Very soon Duchovny appeared in such feature films as Chaplin, Beethoven and California. His work in the movies attracted the attention of Chris Carter, the famous creator of The X-Files. A TV series weren’t in Duchovny’s plans but he was impressed by the script for The X-Files. So he became agent Fox Mulder.
David is very surprised not only by the success of The X-Files but by his own personal popularity.
Actors who have worked with him describe him as modest, professional and hard-working. David is fond of sports. He played basketball and baseball at school and university. He keeps in shape with jogging and yoga exercises. He writes poetry, but, as he says, he does not read it in public any more.

Beckham’s coaches saw that he was leading the team in everything that he did, so they selected him to be a team captain making him one of the youngest captains and newest players in the league. David Beckham exemplifies the definition of the word captain. Beckham has been chosen to be team captain with every team he has ever played on. A team captain is a huge responsibility, which entails basically running the team. The captain has to become the leader. The UN Secretary General Kofi Annan has chosen David Beckham to be a UN Ambassador. Beckham only being twenty-nine was “thrilled and honored” to accept the prestigious title. His duties will include helping poverty-stricken children across the globe get involved in sports activities. Beckham says the first country he intends to assist is Africa.

David Duchovny was born in New York City on the 7th of August, 1960.
His father is a writer and his mother is a housewife. Before David was bom his parents had been English teachers. When his parents divorced, David was raised by his mother, along with his sister Laurie and his brother Daniel.
David went to a prestigious private school in Manhattan. “He was a very bright kid with a brilliant sense of humour,” his father remembers. “At school he was always top of the class.” After school he entered Princeton University. Then he studied English Literature at Yale University and worked as a teaching assistant.

Duchovny’s PhD thesis, Magic and Technology in Contemporary Fiction and Poetry was never finished. He moved to Hollywood. His mother was angry when he had given up studying. Even now, when she speaks to him on the phone, she always asks him: “When are you going to finish your thesis?” He laughs and says: “Later, later.”
David’s first year in Hollywood was very hard. He was unemployed and could hardly make both ends meet. Luckily, he was invited to play in a commercial and later in a feature film. “Acting gave me a sense of team and I liked this very much,” David says.
Very soon Duchovny appeared in such feature films as Chaplin, Beethoven and California. His work in the movies attracted the attention of Chris Carter, the famous creator of The X-Files. A TV series weren’t in Duchovny’s plans but he was impressed by the script for The X-Files. So he became agent Fox Mulder.
David is very surprised not only by the success of The X-Files but by his own personal popularity.
Actors who have worked with him describe him as modest, professional and hard-working. David is fond of sports. He played basketball and baseball at school and university. He keeps in shape with jogging and yoga exercises. He writes poetry, but, as he says, he does not read it in public any more.

Beckham signed with one of the best teams in the league, Manchester United, in 1993. Beckham had to work extremely hard and show his skill to win a starting position on this English team. It only took one year for Beckham’s coaches to be impressed. He soon won his starting position, playing right midfield. Being a professional player you have to take on leadership to make it to the top. It only took three years to become the captain of Manchester United. Beckham’s coaches saw that he was leading the team in everything that he did, so they selected him to be a team captain making him one of the youngest captains and newest players in the league. David Beckham exemplifies the definition of the word captain. Beckham has been chosen to be team captain with every team he has ever played on. A team captain is a huge responsibility, which entails basically running the team. The captain has to become the leader. The UN Secretary General Kofi Annan has chosen David Beckham to be a UN Ambassador. Beckham only being twenty-nine was “thrilled and honored” to accept the prestigious title. His duties will include helping poverty-stricken children across the globe get involved in sports activities. Beckham says the first country he intends to assist is Africa.

My idol is my older brother. How many can remember from childhood we are always together. He was always serious, it was even called the little peasant. As was already as a child wise beyond his years, and had certain goals. Our childhood took place in hard times of the perestroika period. But we are not discouraged, brother constantly had to think of something interesting. So our childhood was fun and bright.
In sixth grade, he decided to build a hut. And he did it and we helped him. Although brought to mind all my decision. Grandpa swore that the nails and boards are not know what. But the hut was built very good and reliable, and for many years we played there. When we became teenagers, my brother was always serious. He practiced hard for sports, was to win city competitions on Sambo.
Purposefully walked to his goal. Received the sports category. Even when the youth gathered in the evening on the street. With him was no big deal, we were not allowed to do stupid things. Tried talking with them, though, and could use force. As I remember it, he had to work for everything. Even in school trying to reach everything on their own, although my mom always helped us, if that was not clear. Finished school with a silver medal, went to College to be an engineer of ICT. Also successfully finished it.
