Лучшее путешествие в моей жизни было во Францию. И хотя это было два года назад, я все еще вспоминаю это чудесное время с огромным удовольствием. Первый день в Париже был отличный. Это был автобусный тур под название Open Tour. Мы сели в автобус на ближайшей остановке. Было чудесно, что автобус останавливался у всех достопримечательностей, поэтому мы могли выйти и прогуляться по самым известным местам. And I can say that it’s not very expensive to fly even by plane. You can choose ryanair airlines, for examples. They have cheap tickets.
As for me I like travelling. It doesn’t matter where to go. For me it’s a pleasure to travel anywhere. In the world there are so many marvellous places to visit. I think it’s boring just to live in one country and not travelling abroad. I had a unique chance to see some countries. When I was a child I travelled to the Ukraine and for the first time in my life I saw a fascinating sea. Then I saw many other countries and cities. I was in Luthuania, Poland, France etc. Each country has it’s own traditions and interesting places to see. Our country also has many sightseeing. Stars are especially beautiful in Sweden in winter; it seems that they can be taken by a hand. They are big and bright, which is typical of the Nordic countries.

The best way to break the monotony of our life and learn a lot about different places and cultures in the world is travelling. I think that our modern life is impossible without travelling. People get tired of their daily routine, they need to change the surroundings. So they go to a travel agency, buy tickets to some nice place, pack their suitcases and set off on a journey.
Travelling has a great educational value because it is a chance to meet new people, visit museums and ancient sights, discover different ways of life, taste national cuisines and practice foreign languages. Plane is the fastest but the most expensive means of transport. Travelling in a modern train can be very comfortable and enjoyable. We can admire picturesque landscapes from the window and communicate with our companions. When we travel by car we don’t have to buy any tickets or book a hotel, we can stop wherever we want and stay there as long as we like. My parents spend their holidays travelling too. I was only 4 years old when they first took me to Turkey. That was an unforgettable holiday by the sea. We swam and sunbathed, went sailing and fishing. And we took plenty of beautiful pictures there.

For example, if you need to get to some place fast you can choose a plane. However many people are afraid of flights. It is possible to choose a train though it takes more time to get somewhere.

One more way to travel is to travel by car. Many people like it because it can be cheaper than plane or train. Of course there are some disadvantages. There are places where you cannot get to by car. For example, if you live in Europe and need to go to America you obviously cannot go there by car. One more problem connected with such travel is that the driver needs a rest during the road trip, especially, if it takes much time. Besides, it is dangerous to travel by car because of the possibility of an accident.

Я никогда еще не видел такого звездного неба. Живя в городе, таких вещей не замечаешь.
Мой папа много знает об окружающей природе и учит меня. Я уже могу различить много видов змей и насекомых, которые опасны для человека, знаю, какие растения можно есть, а от каких лучше держаться подальше. Я знаю, как в дикой природе найти источник воды и развести костер. Уверен, эти знания пригодятся мне в жизни.
В один из дней мы наняли лошадей и проделали переход верхом. Я получил массу новых впечатлений. Лошади – замечательные, умные и очень красивые животные. Сначала мне было немного страшно, но потом я привык, освоился и стал получать удовольствие от поездки. Мне попалась спокойная белая лошадка по кличке Ласточка. Она меня слушалась и шла аккуратно.
Это путешествия я буду помнить очень долго. За две недели, которые мы там провели, я многому научился, стал сильнее и выносливее.

Arabian countries are also popular for the foreign travelers: Egypt, Morocco and Arabian Emirates attract people by the richness of their culture, beautiful women, magnificent temples and delicious cuisine.

It’s a well-known fact that travelling plays a significant role in a modern life. Today in the 21 century it’s rather easy to travel to any point of our planet. If 50 years ago people even didn’t dream about spending a weekend in Paris or London, now it’s not a dream, it’s a reality. There are so many opportunities to travel. And I can say that it’s not very expensive to fly even by plane. You can choose ryanair airlines, for examples. They have cheap tickets.
As for me I like travelling. It doesn’t matter where to go. For me it’s a pleasure to travel anywhere. In the world there are so many marvellous places to visit. I think it’s boring just to live in one country and not travelling abroad. I had a unique chance to see some countries. When I was a child I travelled to the Ukraine and for the first time in my life I saw a fascinating sea. Then I saw many other countries and cities. I was in Luthuania, Poland, France etc. Each country has it’s own traditions and interesting places to see. Our country also has many sightseeing. There are a lot of tourists visiting our native country.
In conclusion, I want to say that travelling is my hobby. Some people like to collect something (postcards, stamps, coins etc), and I like to collect memories from different countries.

Придерживайтесь формального стиля письма. Помните, что сокращения типа don’t, can’t, I’m, it’s – это не формальный стиль. Эти фразы не соответствуют формальному стилю.

Следите за объемом эссе (сочинения). Принцип “чем больше, тем лучше” здесь неприменим. Эссе (сочинение) менее установленного объема вообще не проверяется и никак не оценивается.

Why do people travel? Very often it is connected with the job or study. Businessmen, politicians, actors and singers travel a lot. Besides, students can take part in different study trips. For example, businessmen often have business trips and singers perform on tour. Maybe, it is not quite what we call “to travel” because often such people have no time to visit places of interest or to do something else what a real travel consists of.

However one cannot argue that many people find their inspiration in travels. Travelling you see many places which differ from the place where you live. Travelling, you meet new people. After some journeys artists produce pictures and writers describe some stories.

Sometimes there is no particular reason why people travel. They just want to see the world, to meet new people or to try traditional food. Such people just like discovering the world by themselves.

Traveling is the best way to change the atmosphere, to have a rest from everyday life and to get new emotions and impressions that remain always with us.
The greatest travelers are of course Americans. They use to leave their homes and go exploring picturesque areas inside and outside the USA. Italy, France, Greece are their most favorite places for spending holidays, as European nations are rich in their history, old monuments, excellent food, interesting traditions and customs and of course friendly people.
Arabian countries are also popular for the foreign travelers: Egypt, Morocco and Arabian Emirates attract people by the richness of their culture, beautiful women, magnificent temples and delicious cuisine.
Holidays are not the only reason for travelling abroad. Many people travel on business, which is the best way to achieve both: getting new emotions and earning money. Besides attending conferences, signing contracts, participating in negotiations there is always a possibility to go to a museum, a party or a modern art exhibition.
There are many means of traveling: by car, by plane, by train. Planes are the quickest and the most comfortable. It takes just few hours to reach the necessary place without spending a whole night in a crowdy bus. In some planes you may watch some movie or listen to music with a cup of hot tea.
So if you have already planned a holiday outside your country then do not hesitate, book the hotel, buy a ticket, pack your travel bag and go discovering new continents and nations!
